Good morning girls,

I am still here:D DD left for Texas yesterday, she had a really long fight! Poor thing, just got to El Paso this morning! I miss her already! My cold is kicking my butt since yesterday:( All I did was sleep. I will try to do a leg workout today!

Good Morning!

How is everyone? I posted on Fri night but Im not sure if anyone read it or not.
My race was good yesterday. I had no idea what I was in for and its a good thing b/c I probably would have never done it! We started off going downhill, then there was a huge uphill, around the 8km I could see this hill in the distance that looked like it never ended....I was thinking "we aren't going up THAT are we"? Sure enough, I think the hill had to be a km long!During the last hill I had to stop 3x's. I thought I was going to puke but I didn't mind stopping b/c everyone ahead of me was stopped and so was everyone behind me.
I was aiming for 1:40-1:45 but after hearing alot of women talk about how long the route took them last year, I thought that maybe I was being a little to ambitous! Anyway...I did it in 1:43, placed 103/400, and 3rd in my age group. I just printed off the list to see how many women were there and where I placed with them. I can barely walk today, my legs are soooo sore!!!!

So today will be a rest day for moi! Im hoping to be able to workout tomorrow morning though.

Belinda** Sorry to hear DD is gone back! Must be lonely for you now:confused: Will she be home for Christmas?

Ameila** Good job on passing up the greasy food! I have to get back on track now. Just healthy eating and eating when I am hungry...not in between!:D

Belinda-Yay on the visit from your DD in less than two months! Great job getting in some rest! I never did workout yesterday...my nose was running all day:mad: Hey,i think i caught your cold:p:D

Lori-Me TOO! I haven't been eating bad but im not gonna lose any of this water weight if I don't eat some clean foods:mad: just can't stay away from the comfort foods for some reason:rolleyes:

Hey to everybody that follows!

Well, ive got somekind of cold/allergy thing going on so im not really tempted to workout:( if I don't workout today then It won't be until thursday because I work the next two days,unless i can munster enough strength afterwards. My throat is itchy,nose running and yesterday I had body aches,not today though...so thats good! I don't really care anyway:(im in a funk! I just don't care about working out or eating right? It takes all my energy to stay out of the kitchen and to get in four workouts a week? I think im just trying to adjust to my new working schedule. Remember,ive been a stay at home mom for four years so this is all new to me:confused:I'll be alright when i get back in the swings of things;) Im also turning the big 3...0 in less than a month and im NOT thrilled about that:(

OK,blah,blah,blah...i'll stop whinning now;)...bbl

Good morning ladies,

Sorry that I have been MIA, but I am still here and working out, hehe.

Saturday was a 30 min treadmill run and yesterday I did one of the Jari Love DVDS. I got 2 of them from the library and they are not bad. I like the high reps she does, that's a nice change to Cathe. So my legs a little bit sore today, so it must be working, right :D.

Belinda - So sorry to hear that your DD left. It must be hard. I know it is for me when I leave my parents. Also sorry about your cold, I hope that you get better soon.

Lori - Yeah, you did awesome on your race!!!! You surely deserve a rest day.

Amelia - Oh, everybody is in a funk sometimes. I am sure you'll be on track in no time. Just take it easy!

Not sure about my workout today. On Monday's I am normally extra lazy and normally end up taking a rest day. But I might jump on the treadmill, we'll see.
