Hi and good morning,

Not sure, what I will do today? I have so many dvds to catch up on;)

I just saw a post on FB, that Sean from Cardio Coach passed away. I am so sad this morning. I can't believe he is gone. A few month ago Carola (hittdog) passed away and now him, so sad. I have tears in my eyes. Life is short!

I will be back later. Enjoy your workouts everyone!

'Evening!
Belinda, hard to believe about Sean. He was so young. What a generous, compassionate person who will be greatly missed. Did you get Rapid Fire yet? What else did you order?
Deb, how was your day today? Do you still travel into NYC frequently?
Kristen, saw a premiere of the movie, Mitchell 20 this evening. Have you seen it? Really good, about a low-performing school in Arizona that uses National Board for professional development. Really good and inspiring.
Did disc 7 this morning. That thing has a gazillion push ups in it! Crossover, traditional, wide, Elmo, staggered, ... Incredible.

HEllo everyone. Yesterday ended up being a rest day, which was unplanned. Today I did STS D31 chest and back. I am very happy with what I was able to lift. My right wrist is sore though. Anyway. . . we are thinking about going to Hershey Park for Easter break. They are having a spring celebration and have a decent package. I kind of want to get away for two reasons. . . one I need to stop obsessing about the freakin' test and two there is so much family drama going on, I think I would be better off spending time with DH and my sons instead of dealing with nonsense.

Belinda- you are right. Life is short and we have to embrace every day and not stress over things. . . I need to remember that every day.

Cookie- I'll have to look into that movie. Sounds interesting.

Deb- did you take a spin class today? Any new news on BJs?

Okay, bb tomorrow. I ordered Step Blast and Step Jump and Pump when it was the daily special and it came today. I am thinking I will give SB a go tomorrow.

Kristin

Hi,

I just saw that Sean passed on, so sad, he was so inspiring will do one of his w/o's tomorrow:( A few days ago a neighbor (didn't really know) passed on & left twin boys when I passed his house I saw his dogs sitting outside & it made me tear up . . . life is too short:(

Today I did Turbo Barre.

Belinda - Is your pass up, are you going to join?

Cookie - I don't have to cover for NYC anymore, actually just heard that Macy's NYC is in the middle of a million dollar renovation. I'm always shocked by how many push-ups are on some of the STS's:)

Kristin - Hershey Park was so much fun when the kids were little. I was always amazed how clean it was too. It will be good for you to get away. I have to do inventory this week at BJ's not looking forward to that.

Goodnight:)

Hallo ladies,

Today was my rest day, despite feeling sad...I did CCV3 in honor of Sean. It's still hard to believe about Sean. I don't get it? You all know how much I love Cardio Coach! Rest in peace, Sean!

Cookie - Cathe loves push ups, doesn't she? She must love them:p I didn't get RF yet! I need to order it soon. Have you ever done a CC workouts? I just love them.

Kirstin - I never been to Hershey Park:confused: sounds like fun and you get a break. Good idea getting away from everything. You are almost done with STS:D

Debbie - that is so sad about your neighor! That is making me tear up:( I will not sign up for the gym, I don't wanna leave DH alone at night. That's when Aleisa and I went to the gym. By the time we came home, DH was falling asleep:confused:

I will be back in the morning. Good night!

Hi ladies. I did Step Blast today. . . I think I have a new favorite step workout. It was soooo much fun and I loved all the tunes on it. I tripped up on the steps here and there, being my first time, but it was pretty easy to learn, I was dripping with sweat and I had a smile on my face the whole time. :D

Belinda- It is really sad about Sean. I never did CC, but I know a lot of people on the forum here do those workouts. It just makes you realize we need to focus on the good in our lives.

Deb- the last time we went to HP it was soooo hot (we went in August) and the little water park area was so packed. . . even the wave pool had a long line, lol. It was extremely clean. I want to go back to get away and also to enjoy it more with the cooler weather. I am not coaching this year, but DH is now the coach and the Director for the division. . . don't ask. A lot of good has come out of coaching. We made some great friends through it. A year ago our social life was pretty dead. . . it is a great feeling to have some real friends with children, lol.

Cookie- how are your pecs from all those push ups? I still cannot do all of them on my toes, lol.

Kristin

Hi,

I didn't have enough time to do a Cardio Coach but will get one in this week in honor of Sean (still so sad:(). I did upper body from MIS (an oldie).

Belinda - It's tough to go to the gym at night plus you have to tack on driving time besides you have a "new" gym now:) Kudos for getting CCV3 in!

Kristin - I haven't done Step Blast in awhile but I do remember the fun factor. It's funny how many really nice people you meet when the kids play sports. When I run into them in town in brings back so many good memories & they always ask about DH because he was a coach:)

Goodnight:)

Hallo girls,

Workout is done! Did Cardio Supersets, that's it!

I will be back later for personals, need to cook dinner. Been dragging all day long. Didn't get anything done:confused:

'Evening!
Yesterday I couldn't get online - must have been cloudy, windy, beautiful, sunny, breezy, no wind at all, or something.
Belinda, how is your dh feeling about his upcoming surgery? I also did css this morning. That wo has really grown on my, but I still struggle with the discs. They don't seem to slide well on puzzle mats. Did you order rapid fire?
Kristen, coach and director? Okay, I'm not asking. HP will be fun. Have you ever gone to the Crayola factory in Easton, PA? That's quite interesting. Glad you have a new fav.
Deb, when I read of the renovations at the NYC Macy's I thought of you. BJ's does not seem as interesting, sorry. That's sad about your neighbor. Sorry.
Struggling with being exhausted at night and trying to get work done, then get up in am to get wo in. I need more hours in a day.
Cookie

Hi,

Rough day today so I didn't get a w/o in, don't know about tomorrow either:( I'm with Kristin this week can't wait for the weekend!

Belinda - At least I wasn't the only one;)

Cookie - Ugh, on BJ's but want to try & get a one day pass & shop:) The food looks good . . . but not sure if it's because I'm always hungry:eek:

Goodnight:)

Hi everyone. Well everything I just typed was accidently deleted :mad::mad:. Oh well, it has been that kind of day, lol. Tonight's workout was D32 STS plyo legs plus no equip abs. The plyo workouts are great because they have that cardio factor built in. I will have to remember to do them even when I am not doing STS.

DS got his report card today, and it was great. We are so proud of him. I think ice cream is in our future, lol.

Deb- We made it to Friday ;). Coaching really was a blessing because of the friendships we made. It is funny how life works out like that sometimes. I remember being on the fence about coaching, and DH didn't want anything to do with at first, until the first practice that is, lol. BTW I agree. . . BJ's is no MACY's, lol.

Cookie- We are holding off on the Crayola factory until our younger DS is a little older, but we have heard only good things about it. As far as the sliding discs, maybe buy a cheap area rug to put over the puzzle mats when doing one of the disc workouts.

Belinda- nice job on CSS. It is one of my favorites from the LIS.

Okay ladies, off to bed for me!

Kristin

'evening!
Gee, it's getting quiet around here.
Deb, hope things calm down for you soon.
Kristen, great idea to put an area rug down! I've put it on my to do list.
Did turbo barre this morning. Sorry, more personals tomorrow; I'm tired now.
Cookie

Hi,

There wasn't much time again for a workout but I'm glad the week is almost over. I will try hard to carve out some time tomorrow for a workout. Right now everything hurts.

Belinda - I hope you had a better day today.

Kristin - I saw an email where Cathe said to add plyo legs every other week if you want to slim down lower body, thinking about doing that. Yum, ice cream & a good report card:)

Cookie - It is quiet around here & I hear you on being tired too!

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

Sorry for beeing so quit this week. Lots on my mind this week.

Cookie - the weather has been crazy here too. All my plants died this week from the cold we got the last few days...what's up with that? DH can't wait to get the surgery. He is ready, lol. My discs don't slide either in my basement, I think I mentioned that before? I use funiture gliders. I bought mine in Wal Mart a few years ago. Cathe loves those push ups, doesn' t she? They are in every one of her workouts. What's up with that? LOL! Good job, on TB.

Kirstin - so? How may DVDs did you buy this month? LOL. BTW, I love SB! You need to try a CC workout. I just adore all Sean workouts. Thanks for the reminder about plyo legs workouts, need to add those into my rotations. Still haven't done one...arrr! Congrats. on DS report card. That's wonderful!

Debbie - that's what I thought too. I have everything in my basement....why do I wanna drive to the gym? Although it is fun do do a live glass. I do enjoy working out at home. Need to use my DVD/equitments. Sorry you had a rough week, hope it gets better. Hope you get your workout in today.

Yesterday, I did managed to do TB. I did the entire workout, just relized I only had to do LB. Oh, well...I guess, I don't have to do TB UB on Saturday:p BTW, I am following the LIS rotation W1, this week;) Can't wait what Cathe has cooking up for April?

Have a wonderful day and workout, girls! BBL!

Just finished STS D32, biceps, shoulders and triceps. . . only 3 more STS workouts to go!!! My right wrist is hurting me a bit. I think I am not keeping it straight with the heavier weight .

This was a long week. STS and my last week before Easter break happen to be together!!! I am looking forward to a rest, lol.

Deb- the weekend is FINALLY here! Did you get a workout in today?

Belinda- I only bought the two, lol. I almost bought Hiit too, but it wasn't that good of a deal, and I think DH would have been mad because I was very strict with the budget this month and then I bought two more Cathe dvds, lol.

Okay, I am off to relax!

Hi,

I decided to do a double workout tomorrow & go to bed early tonight. It was a long week, I did too much driving & it wore me out! TG the weekend is here & vacation is soon.

So, did any of you buy a ticket for the "Mega Millions"? I can't believe how much money it is:eek: Usually I only buy 1 or 2 but I splurged & bought 12:)

Belinda - Is DH's surgery out-patient or does he need to spend time in the hospital?

Kristin - Wow, your almost done with STS!!! I can't believe that Easter is already next week . . . need to decide what I'm cooking & another good reason to have chocolate;)

Cookie - What are you up to this weekend?

Goodnight:)

Good evening,

Yesterday ended up beeing a rest day. Today I did CCPP in honor of Coach Sean!

Today marks the 12 year when my dad passed away For some reason, I though yesterday was March 31:eek: I though, I couldn't make it through CCPP today, but I did.

Kirstin - You almost done with STS, yeah! I been having problems with my right wrist too! Your vacations is almost here....hang in there! You got some good deals on those two workouts.

Debbie - sorry you had a long day. Have fun with your double workouts. Of course we bought tickets.....didn;t win! Oh well! Did you win anything? DH is staying in the hospital for 3 days, after that a PT will come to the house 3x a week and a nurse! Not bad, hah? What are you gonna cook for Easter?

Maybe I will do a yoga or stretch workout tomorrow. Waiting for Cathe to post a new rotation. Saw Debbie's and it looks fantastic!

Good night, I will be back in the morning!

Good morning everyone. I am sorry I did not check in yesterday. I did do my workout, KPC. That is one the "new" dvds I bought in March. I love the pace of this workout. It is perfect with the hi/lo and combos. My legs were spent with all the kicking, lol. Anyway, I meant to check in afterwards but my cousin was over and we ended up hanging out all day and night. We played monopoly, parcheesi, and Wii. It was a lot of fun.

Jessica made kale chips the last time they were over and I really liked it. I made them Friday and then yesterday as a type of appetizer. They are really good. I cannot believe I am eating KALE, lol.

This week is a four-day work week. We are off on Friday. I am really nervous about the fact that we are giving the state assessment the day after we return from break. I just feel that everything I have been going over will be forgotten over a long vacation. I think it will be disastrous. I hope I am wrong. I almost wish they gave the test this week instead. I know my students could handle taking it now. After the break? After staying up late and playing video games for long lengths of time or going on cool vacations, I just don't see them being in "back to work" mode on April 17th.

Belinda- I checked out FF rotation for April and I am in. I have to substitute some workouts, but I am pretty much following the format she gave us. I want to lose a few pounds 3-5 for summer and I think upping the cardio and doing more circuits is the way to go. This is my last week of STS and I am looking forward to doing more total body endurance workouts. Meso 2 is my favorite. . . Meso 3 I am on the fence. I like lifting heavy, but I like the faster pace of Meso 2 I guess. It feels like MEso 2 workouts go faster IMO.

Deb- hope you are enjoying the weekend!

Cookie- Do you have off for Easter/spring break?

Okay, I am off to a kiddie birthday party. It is Jessica's kids actually. We will be in the city, but we definitely have to be home around 5-6 because I have paperwork to do and a workout to get in ;)

Kristin

'Evening!
Belinda, glad your husband's post-op care is already planned out. However, I'm sure his nurse is really You! How long is his anticipated recovery period? Yesterday must have been a hard day for you.
Kristen, kpc is my fav, and I think my dh's also. L&G is really good also. 3-5 lbs is nothing! Hope you told Jessica hello for us. Thanks for reminding me of kale chips; I haven't made them in a while. Hear you on the state exams. Originally they were scheduled for next week - when most districts across the state have spring break! Teachers are just discovering that even if they are highly effective, if their students don't achieve on the state assessments, they are ineffective.
Deb, hope this week is better for you. Are you cooking for Easter? I am but we're doing it on the 14th, since dd has to work. Wanted to do it on the 7th, but dh bought tickets for a performance. How's your family doing?
This weekend was the big deadline for full candidates in the National Board process and I mentored 8 this year. Two went right up til yesterday, with one mailing at 7:50 last night. The post office closed right after taking her box! Now I just have 9 others who mail in a couple of weeks. That plus working every Saturday since January has me feeling fried.
Did tbt lb and ss/pss ub 3x and a dog walk today to make up for a few missed ones the last few days.
Cookie, who is off to check out rotations

I'm back to report that I finished STS D34 tonight! Two more to go. . . woo hoo! I am beat!

Cookie- I did know that about the ineffective rating, only thanks to the fact that I asked my union rep about it. What no one seems to know (I've asked administrators, union reps, other teachers, etc.) is what will get you an ineffective rating on the test scores? What are the percentages we have to achieve? My district leaders all do a tap dance when I ask, and it is obvious to me no one knows. I also think it is unfair that my evaluation is based on state assessments, which vary in difficulty from year to year (some being much easier than others), while my counterparts in other disciplines will be evaluated by pretests and post tests. For example, a 7th grade social studies teacher will definitely show student growth because his/her students will not have had American history the year before. There are a lot of facts and history that they will have forgotten or not be familiar with because they haven't been taught American history at all in the sixth grade. I should have gone for physical education, lol. Can you tell I need a vacation, lol.

Okay, I am off to bed!

Kristin
