I never got my worout in yesterday:mad: We came home late! Today I will do cardio and a full body workout.

Wow, seems like there has been a lot of partying going on around here! Belinda taking a rest day, Iris oxyfied, Lori, and Amelia! What fun!
Belinda, have you been back to the gym since the incident? Just wondering if the manager said anything further to you. Are your children coming to visit for holidays?
Iris, so glad to hear your mother's home and doing better. What a stressful year this has been for you. Sounds like you had fun the other night. Any males involved?
Amelia, my dd should have taken gymnastics. Only she never wanted to take lessons. She has tons of energy and is very limber. Every PE teacher told me to sign her up, but she said no. Now she's in hs and plays sports. I always wished I could do a cartwheel. Can you?
Lori, I've been to ugly sweater parties. Sometimes planned and sometimes not. Only kidding. They're fun. So what did yours look like?
Trish, cooking lessons - now that's my kind of girls. I got kicked out of ballet as being too clumsy as a child, and still am as an adult. But cooking, that I can do. Who knows you may have a, or two, budding chefs. Great job getting in your workouts.
Deb, I hate that four-letter word. It also appeared here yesterday too and is still here this morning. Our driveway is about a quarter-mile long and a lot of ice forms on it too. Would you please send your son over? How's your MIL doing?
Helene, I am so envious of your upcoming vacations! They sound wonderful. Hope you enjoy them. Your children as at such a fun age for the holidays. Think I'm doing Harcore Imax Extreme also today.
Well, we have a new hot water heater! TG! Have so much to do today, work related, housework, plus getting ready for the holidays. Wanted to get the tree yesterday, but many people stopped by, and it really delayed getting anything done. Love them all, well most, but ... Friday did Seasun Ziegler's bosu wo, but this time it just seemed to repetitive to me. Could also be that's the day htw broke and I was distracted. Got two pairs of sneaks and a few more floor puzzle mats for more cushioning. Broke them in yesterday with 35 - plyo legs and PP premix upper body 3x. Think it is Imax Extreme today, and possibly a dog walk. Oh, and I'm with the others on trying to eat low carb the next couple of weeks. It is so hard for me to do this tho.
Okay, I'm confused about the card exchange. Hard to believe I know. Do we pm each other our addresses or is one person compiling the list and sending it to the others? I'll pick up the cards today. So please let me know.

Good Morning Ladies....

Feeling much better today....lol I'm supposed to do a leg workout today, but might do cardio instead...I'm just not sure....I'm not very motivated. I stepped on the scale this morning ( I do that once in awhile)...and I'm up a few pounds just like I thought. :mad: I might do a ticker thingy too....

Ummmm....San Diego....How bad do I want to go?? lol It motivated me last time to get my arse in gear. I am going to break myself on Cathe RT's! But alas, I will have to save myself for Daytona '10......

Belinda- Sorry you have to do double duty today!! Hope you have a great workout!

Cookie- I'm so glad you have your hot water heater back! So where do you buy your floor mats?? What is underneath?? I workout on carpet....I probably shouldn't..lol Why are you trying to eat low carb?? I did go dancing on Friday night...there's always males involved, just not in "that" way...:p So how about this snow, eh?? I, for one, am loving it!

Amelia- Yeah I"m sure about the christmas card thing....I really appreciate it, though!! I just know I won't follow through...I never do with cards......lol

Lori- Well? How was your party??

Deb- So did you get DOMS in the buttocks area like you wanted?? :p Did you have a good dinner with your DH?? Where did you go?

Trish- Which leg w/o did you decide on?? Those are the two I"m between today, as well.......

Helene- I was also disappointed in the calorie burn for 4DS HIS/LIS...but I love the workout just the same. Yes we can definitely meet up in the new year if not before. I'll tell you what, though, I can't wait for this year to be over!! If there is one thing I've done a lot less of this year, it's drink. I keep nothing in the house anymore.......but unfortunatley now my tolerance is lower!! I've considered getting some wine, though. I love red wine and it's not so bad for you.

Morning girls

Ive got my eye on CCV7 after DH wakes up this afternoon. Today is my meal day and what a relief...nine days with no 'splurge meal' just about did me in:confused: (thats why i chose ccv7,im aiming for a 600 cal burn;))

The scale was down .6...im sure i will be down a couple(hopefully a few) lbs next week, that seems to be the pattern for my weightloss.

ok,ive sent out all the address so let me know if somebody didn't get my PM or if i didn't type your address right(which for me is a huge possibility;))!

Belinda-your workout sounds like a good calorie burner...enjoy!

Iris-yay,join the ticker club;) ive got to go move mine .6 for the week :)rolleyes:). I love wine but for me liquor is lower in calories,lol(and its quicker:D) enjoy your workout today,glad your feeling better.

Cookie-lol,nooooo there would be an ambulance involved if i tried to do a cartwheel now:eek:, i could do them when i was pre-teen,i remember doing round-offs alot too. Since i was the one who brought up the card exchange(lol) i went ahead and compiled a list and sent it out:D you should have it in your inbox now...Nice job on your workouts.

I just read yesterday thread...so I am hoping I will remember everything that I just read!

Two late nights in a row:eek: I don't know if I have ever done that before! We didn't get home on fri night until 4'ish. Wasn't to bad b/c for some reason I wasn't sleepy and then DH let me sleep in until 9:30. Actually, he probably would have let me sleep in later, it was DS who came into the room and started hauling me out of bed. Then last night I was up until 3:30 'ish but DS slept at his grandparents house and I got to sleep in until after 11!:eek: I was suprised b/c I thought for sure I would wake up early and not take advantage of what was going on. DS is gone to a christmas party now (our friend who has no kids signed him up for it) so I have a couple more hours of quiet before he blows in. I think I will take advantage of this and get my workout done!

So get a load of this one! I ran 30 kms yesterday! Thats the furthest I have ever ran. My friend who is training for a marathon wanted me to tag along b/c she finds it boring...like you would! She was suppose to do 32 kms and when I told DH he said "you can't run 32 kms" of course that kind of set the devil in me:) I wasn't going to do it b/c I really didnt have time for that yesterday but it wasn't that bad b/c our pace was alot slower. When we got to the 22 kms mark I thought...:" I only have 10 kms left to go...I can do this" So I did! My calorie burn was 1813! And it took us about 2:40 mins to do it. I am not sure what todays workout will be! If I didn't get so much sleep I would have taken a rest day, but i think I would like to do the GS.

Ameila** I want in on the card exchange thingy:) How do I sign up? I think I missed that conversation. Must have happened on the day I didn't check in. So what are you having as your cheat meal today?

Cookie** I won my ugly sweater on ebay and I have received any notification that it has been shipped yet. I am a little ticked b/c when I paid for it i sent a message along with it. I have a feeling it won't be here in time. I guess I will have to save that sweater for next year and try and find something else!:mad:

Helene** Oh...DH use to do the same thing to me before we were married. When we first got together I didn't workout at all. I use to but then gave it up and of course we a new bf and collage I started packing on the lbs. Everytime I decided that I was going on a diet, he use to bring ice creams home to me!:p I had no will power so of course I would eat them! At like...10 at night...stuffing a oreo ice cream in my mouth, worth a ton of cals! I think he use to do it on purpose to! Did you get a good workout in after?

Iris** So you were hungover yesterday? I sooo hate that feeling! I wasn't hungover all weekend b/c I only had a couple of drinks each night:) I think I may do this all Christmas b/c no one really notices that your not drinking and I drink just enough to be social:)

Deb** LOL I hate sharing my jeep to! Both of ours a 4 wheel drive and there are only 2 of us that drive. I can't imagine when its time for DD to start taking a car! Oh dear! I think i will be a bag of nerves!

Trish** What are you plans for today???

Did I miss anyone??? I am gonna clean up a little and then off to the basement to workout. I have 2 hours of freedom!! Yipppeee!

Morning Girls!!

Happy Sunday!! Let me start by saying I'm determined to get a nap in today!! My little one woke me up at 5AM for no good reason (couldn't find special blanky) and I couldn't get back to sleep. So, once I lay her down for a nap, off to bed for me. I ended up taking a rest day yesterday. Started doing some work after the girl's activities and the day got away from me. This morning's wo was GS Legs. I'm expecting some good DOMs tomorrow;)

Belinda - I took a rest day yesterday, too. What cardio & fb wo are you doing today?

Cookie - The girls made apple cinnamon muffins yesterday. Of course I ended up eating FOUR, but I tried to balance out my cals by having grapefruit and a few almonds for dinner. Nice wo yesterday!! What I wouldn't give to be able to do plyo!! I can (and do) still do cartwheels:eek:

Amelia - Thanks again for coordinating the card exhange:) Sounds like yu've got a sweatfest on tap today. Happy cal-burning!

Iris - I haven't been on the scale in months. I just know it doesn't have anything good to show me. But I've been thinking about it. Maybe I'll take the plunge and just DO IT! GS got me good this morning. Have you decided what you will do?

Lori - WOW!!! What a kick butt run you did yesterday!! I'm so impressed:) Isn't it funny what motivates us? If my DH said that to me, I would have done the same!!

Helene - Atlantis in January?? Nice!!! I've never been but I know it is supposed to be one of the best hotels on the island and great for kids. Your DH and mine sound a lot alike. Although, I think mine is worse!! He will buy brownies because he knows I love them and find them sooo hard to resist. The kicker is that he doesn't eat brownies, he just buys them to tempt me:mad:. Sometimes I think he's the devil!! LOL!!

Deb - So, were you good last night? I just checked out bodymedia. It gets really good reviews and the software is supposed to be better than bodybugg. sounds like it provides a lot of good information. What wo are you doing today?

Cookie: I ended up going with Hardcore Hi/Lo and I liked it. It was fun and got me good. Just what I wanted. Sorry your driveway is so long. It must be a royal pain in the winter. Yeah on the hot water heater and well done with Imax Extreme if you didn't change your mind by the time you made it to the basement (I do frequently :eek:).

Iris: Yeah, I can truly understand that you will be happy when this year is over. It was nice to hear that you went out and had fun. Can't remember the last time I drank more than I should have. Oh wait, yes I do remember :eek: Red wine or good beer are my favorite. Though under the right conditions I'm good with mixed drinks too. LOL on wanting to go to San Diego!

Trish: Funny thing about the cooking yesterday. But hey, I managed not to eat any of my DH's cupcakes yesterday except a baby one DD shoved into my mouth. It was delish and I didn't have another. Yeah for small victories.... Hope you have a good nap.

Lori: WOW, ^5s and then some on the run yesterday! That is awesome. I am in awe. And the time too! LOL at your DH. I come from a small town in the mountains in France. One time I signed up for a 1/2 marathon even though I wasn't running that much. Anyways, my dad said I would never finish. Just thinking about that when I was tired would give me new energy. So you bet I finished! Nothing can get me going more than comments like that. Men can be so bad.

Amelia: Congrats on the small weight loss with TTOM too. Mine didn't move, but I'm happy with that. I think i will move a lot next week too now that I am going low carb. I know that there is quite a bit of water weight loss in the beginning going low carb, but I don't care, it's motivating. And now that I work out frequently, it doesn't seem to bother me too much. I had good energy this morning. Anyways, thank you so much again for setting up the card exchange. It's great!

Alright. So seriously this is messy. Remember how we are going to FL? Well at first we were going to go between Xmas and New Year, but the flights were too expensive so we moved it up one week. Well, spoke with MIL today, and I just found out that she has planned to surprise us with a visit (coming from France) and meet us all there. Except now, we won't be there anymore. :mad: So now I'm looking at changing the tickets .... again. Thank god Southwest lets you change them without any fees! Except, as of now, if we change the tickets, it would be $400 - $500 more. Oh well, might still do it. I am a huge sucker for family get togethers because they never happen.

OK, did Hardcore Hi/Lo this morning. That worked me good. I enjoyed the Kickmax blast at the end. It reminded me of insanity somewhat. It was a lot of fun. I wonder if MMA will have some workouts that are like that blast.

DD is still napping, I am going to see if I can take advantage of it and get some things done around the house. Usual Sunday stuff.
 
I'm back. I had a great 2-hour nap. I feel so good. I still have 2 loads of laundry to do, but oh well. There's always tomorrow:eek:.

Helene - Good for you having such will power with those cupcakes!! Today I only had 1/2 a muffin which I guess-timate to be about 150 cals. I didn't have any snacks today, so that should be okay. Wow, I know you hate to spend the extra $$ to change your tix, but how cool that some of your family from France will be there!! You guys will have a great time. Nice job on your Hi/Lo wo!

Lori, that's fantastic! 30 kms!!! Wow, I feel like I need a nap just reading that. Aren't DH annoying? Mine often says totally stupid things just to bug me, and it works. I had no problem finding ugly sweaters! Just don't go out drinking afterwards.

Amelia, thanks so much for organizing the card exchange. I sent you a pm w/a correction. I couldn't figure out how to reply to all. Sorry. BTW, did you know addresses can cross not only county lines, but state lines? The town in my address is not even in the same county as I live in. It makes no sense at all, and delivery people really hate it! Congrats on the loss. One more to go!!!! You can do it. What a way to end the year.
Iris, bought the mats at Sports Authority on sale. Sam's also carries them. A few months ago, I moved my wo stuff to the basement, which has a concrete floor. Now I have three layers of mats down. Well, my low-carb thing lasted about as long as it took me to do my prior post! My niece is getting married next weekend, and I thought I might try to look better by eating low-carb, but it just isn't me.
Trish, only four? Or was that four at one time? That's how I am, which is why I can't keep to a low-carb anything. You can still do a cartwheel?!!! Amazing.
Deb, what was your weekend like? Cars are driving me crazy. My secret was to always get a car that was standard - none of the boys ever wanted my car.
Helene, my driveway is a pain! And you must have been looking over my way, cause you're right - I did change my mind. Finally decided on Imax original, but when I put it in, clicked on Rhythmic Step. It was good, but didn't feel like a imax torcher.
So, now we have a car that isn't running. The station wagon has a charge but won't turn over. A mechanic is coming tomorrow to look at it. I have done more than my share of boosting this economy!
Off for family movie night - tonight is Elf.
