Hallo and good morning,

This week I am taking an Italian language course. I always wanted to learn it. I am so excited. I also will look into other courses I can take, I am getting bored.

Today I will do disc 8!

Good morning girls,

Today, I'm going to the gym to do spin and also working. Just realized I have to wear a bathing suit in 2 weeks:eek: I'm going to have to step it up.

Belinda - I'm tired just looking at your workout:eek: I always wanted to learn italian. Only know a few words in spanish after 3 years of HS spanish class.

Lori - Have fun with your run today and I hope you'll little one let's you get some things done today:)

Amelia - Wow, you have been burning a lot of calories. It's so hard when the last one goes off to school:( but you'll find things to do:)

Trish - Sounds like your really liking STS. How was the party last weekend?

Gianna - Wow to go from NJ to Australia (I'll trade places). The roadtrip is usually once a year around the same time. They usually make an announcement after the holidays when it will be.

Cookie - I hit a big storm on the way home on the turnpike but I still made it home in 2 hours. Once I was near my neighborhood I had a hard time getting to my street lots of down trees and wires:confused:

Today is legs, i cant' think of a single leg workout im willing to do today but i guess(since i have too:rolleyes:) i will do PH legs...Can you see my excitment;):p

Debbie-Yeah,i decided to wear my HRM while cutting grass...i didn't think i would burn that many:eek:. Have fun at the gym

Cookie-Hey girl, DH asked his boss if i could possible work mondays & tuesdays while the kids were @ school and she told him 'sure,tell her fill out an application and i'll find her something to do"...:D im excited. And the best thing about it i don't have to work with any doctors;) Enjoy your workout today

Morning Ladies,

Boy do I have DOMs this morning. My calves, quads and hamstring are all aching. My glutes are the worst of all...OUCH! I LOVE MESO2:) This morning's wo was CC8. I completed just over 8 miles but forgot to turn off the HRM so by the time I remembered it said 642 cals:eek: I'm guessing it was closer to 575 or so, but I'll take it;) Tomorrow will be D15, Back and Biceps...can't wait!

Belinda - Boy, you were up late! How is your son doing? That's so cool that you two have such long conversations:) Great job on D8! I haven't done abs all week. You just reminded me that I need to fit that in tonight:)

Deb - DD's party went pretty well. It is always tough throwing summer parties with so many people taking vacation or weekend getaways. She ended up with 16 kids out of 25, but she definitely missed a few of her favorite buddies. Also, it seems that none of the kids that were there will be in her class next year which she is not thrilled about:( Enjoy your spin class!

Amelia - WTG on finding a job so quick! When will you start? How did PH Legs go?

Cookie - I was trying to figure out which one was you in the pics. You look GREAT! Are you petite like Cathe? Now that I can picture your face, I can just see you doing all those crazy plyo moves:)

Gianna - I forgot to ask what part of NJ are you from? I live in Hillsdale. I bet Australia is a big change from NJ:) What wo do you have planned for today? Are you doing all of STS or making up your own rotation?

ok guys...don't laugh,but i decided to take a rest day:rolleyes: ive been doing laundry and filling out paper work from the kids school, watched a movie...just couldn't fit that leg workout in today;):p:cool:

My rotation calls for a rest day tomorrow,so i will do my leg workout and some cardio...

Trish-*awesome* cal burn today girl! High fives on the doms. About the new job,im sure i will start either next week or the week after.

DH inspired by Cathe

Hi Ladies, Good News....Just when I decided to stop trying to convince my DH to get moving in the exercise arena (he has been very slack....time poor though), he asked me about Cathe (he noticed the 2 guys in STS). Took him for a run this morning (a struggle, but he pushed himself) & after he wanted to know if he could try a Cathe wo with me this weekend!
This is HUGE, as he always jokes about my exercise DVDs-even made fun of the 2 guys in STS.

Belinda - Disc 8 - those lbs are impressive, you're a powerhouse. I, too, get VERY FRUSTRATED with the plates in abs. Also the ham & glute plate exercises in Disc 9. Makes me feel hopeless, but I am determined to get it.

Deb - AU, as far as it is, is well worth the trip. I am forever trying to convince my fam back home to visit. A beautiful country with very friendly ppl. Still get home sick though.

Amelia- You'll hit legs stronger&better tomorrow. The rest will pay off. Congrats on the job and the "no doctors" aspect.

Trish - I'm from South Jersey....Moorestown. Most know the neighboring town, Cherry Hill. I am doing STS in order. This is my first time through. I can already see&feel changes. If I could keep my diet clean (slips ups....too often as of late), I know I would achieve greater results. A tough balance. Trying to adhere to BFL diet. One BIG cheat day sounded easy to stick to in the beginning. Oh well, one day at a time.

Today I had the run with DH, but didn't want to leave him in the dust......so will do a cardio session this afternoon on my own & STS Abs - maybe weights & plates (thanks for the idea Belinda)

Belinda, Italian! Oh, you just want to be able to talk to those Italian men when you go to Tuscany. Or maybe you just want to be able to understand them when they're talking about that great-looking woman as you walk by. How's your son doing? My sons never talk long on the phone unless there is something going on and they need help making a decision. Otherwise, it's I need money and when can I get it? Wow, that's a lot for scapula retractions! Those Italian men won't be messing with you.

Deb, that was a horrible storm on Sunday! Think I'm going to remember southern NJ as trees down and torrential rain. You have nothing to worry about with a bathing suit. Remember, I now know what you look like! Plus, heck, I'm in one starting Sunday. Can't wait for the beach and a break from work. How far is Hillsdale from you? That's where Trish lives. I bought that book LauraMax recommended, Curly Girl. After seeing the photos, realize this head needs some help. Oh, BTW, the photos taken on that camera came out! Have to get DD to upload them for me - cause I sure as heck don't know how.
Amelia, that's great you're all set for Mon and Tues. I'm sure the $ will help, but being busy will be good also. So what leg wo tomorrow?
Gianna, Australia! That's awesome - we can do a RT to visit you! My DH is afraid of Cathe, I think. He often says he's going to do sts, but so far that as much as he's done.
Iris, thinking of you. Was today the MRI?
Trish, did you find me? The one with the hair that enters a room two feet before the rest of her. I stopped at the Vitamin Store and while there got on their measurer. It said I am 5-4, but honestly, I'm 5-2.5, but with heels I'm taller than Deb. When I finish growing, I plan on being 5-7.
Ruth, a new friend from the RT, said she would be going our group. Sure hope she does - you'll enjoy her. Plus, she's actually turning me into a yoga fan. Yep, that exercise I keep calling the four-letter word one. Ordered a couple of dvds, but just my luck, they'll arrive while I'm on vacation. Gives me something to look forward to coming home for - I mean besides my dogs, cause it sure is nto work.
Did interval work this morning. Felt great, but sure took a long time to cool down.
