Today I will start Meso 2, disc 13!

My legs are so sore today.

I am done with disc 13 :rolleyes: I had no energy today, had to drop my weight a few times today. I am should have taken a rest day yesterday, not workout like a crazy person:rolleyes::mad: Thanks to DH:mad::mad:

I will post my workout later, can't lift my arms right now. It hurts typing:p

Well...it is only 8:30 here and DS is already on his first time out! I think its gonna be a long day, stuck in the house! I think the weather is suppose to clear up after lunch, so maybe we will get outside.

No water in our basement!:D Remember the flood last year? The phone rang at 2:51 a.m and it was a guy down the st, he had water in his basement. Im hoping we solved the problem last yr when we filled the hole with cement. But my dad said if water wants to get in your basement it will.

I have some crazy DOMS in my legs! My legs didn't hurt yesterday morning until half way through my run so I knew the DOMS was coming. If it clears up Im not sure if I will run soon or wait until tonight so the DOMS will be calmed down a little.

Helene** I don't like front lunges either! LOL I normally do back lunges. I really don't like anything to do with legs period...only run. Glad to hear DH took the kids out for you yesterday. We need breaks...in order to be nice people! The race I am training for his a hilly 20 kms race. After I finished it last yr, I said I was never doing it again. Its kinda of like child birth....you forget! haha! So I signed up for it again, hoping to shave a couple of mins off of last yrs time.

Cookie** DD doesn't go back to school until the 6th of Sept, i think. She as most of her clothes. I did order a couple of things online for her but she still needs a couple pairs of jeans. She is starting to fit into my clothes now...so the fun is beginning! Whatever i want I have to go look for b/c its not where I left it:mad: Its kinda like having a sister...an annoying younger sister! LOL

I will bbl. I may tackle making some bread:eek: never done it before. And I am probably going to do disc 29 today as well.

Today is Chest/back/abb ripper. Today is Day#1 Phase 1 of P90X. BBl to report my workout:)
 
Workout done. It was challenging...I don't think i was able to do a single dive bomber,my goodness:confused:But i finished it. Abb ripper is tough too...definitely room for improvement on this workout. I was able to do 12 pushups on my toes:cool:(lol)

My before pics are kinda disappointing:( i really didn't think my middle/legs were so heavy...oh well, im not going to let it discourage me or distract me. Im sticking to my cals and workouts,something positive is bound to happen. I will post my pics when i feel more comfortable posting:confused:.

Tony Horton is such a Character..he's about 90% Hilarious and about 10% annoying:rolleyes:. He moans during water breaks...LOL

Good Morning Ladies

Well the track was a lot of fun, but it was soooo humid!! I ended up being up $7.35 by the end of the day...lol....it was nice to break even!!
I didn't get home until 9pm and then did BM2 Double Upper Body....:eek: I went right to bed after...LOL...then got up this morning and did GS Legs.

So did you guys see the casting call thing for Daytona??? Wowww...what a goal to work for...I've actually considered it......hmmmm....

Belinda- I'm sorry about the no energy day for you Miss 900Cals...lol Looks like you really wore yourself out yesterday, but kudo's to you for pushing through today!

Amelia- That's awesome that you're doing P90....I've considered that series myself...can't wait to hear about the awesome results you will have!

Lori- So do you try and stay away from running in general if you have DOMS? I'm just curious because I have a run scheduled for tomorrow and I did GS Legs today and I KNOW I'm going to feel it tomorrow!

Helene- No joke about not getting that phone call in yesterday!! It was like the Tropics outside. I got a hold of Steve this morning...I threatened to call Bob if things didn't turn around...:p Good Job w/ Imax 3 yesterday. I feel like when I do those workouts I either have no energy, or when I do have energy something ends up hurting!

Cookie- Yes it is a small world.......go figure the three of us from this area...what are the chances? Why did I think you worked on just the "other side" of the river? lol Awesome job with Viper yesterday. Do you have the Hardcore dvd?? Im thinking of getting that I really like the compilation circuits......great variety.

Hey Girls!

No workout to report yet but I have lots done so far. Bread ready to go in the oven, spagetti in the slow cooker and banana bread made. Im hoping to go to my friends house for coffee so DS can play with her 2 girls...and I can chat with her:)

Im going to wait and do my workout tonight!

Ameila** Don't let those pics discourage you. I didn't take before pics after I had DS b/c I didn't even want to see what I looked like! But now I wish I had b/c it would be nice to see how far I have come. I know what you mean about Tony! He is pretty funny though.

Iris** I take a day off if my legs are sore b/c (mainly) they feel weak when I run...and I don't like that. I am hoping they won't be so sore tonight!

Lori, I know there are 4 threads! LOL! Not sure what happened, my computer took like 10 min. just to post. It kept doing crazy stuff. Weird! How did you do in Meso 2? I just didn’t had it in me today, no strength at all. Maybe because I am not sleeping enough, last few nights I keep waking up? Nice job on your DOMS. How did the bread come out? Yeah, no water in the basement. Have fun with your friend today.

Amelia, Cathe does those dive bomber in BC, those are tough. Just do what you can, keep trying. Eventfully you will be able to do them. ^^^5’s on the push ups! That’s fantastic, girl! You will be so much happier if you see your After pictures, do what you been doing. You are doing great.

Iris, you are probably right, maybe I did wear myself out yesterday? Nice job last night on BM double upper body yesterday and GS legs today.

Belinda- Well you might not be impressed with your workout, but I am!!!! Between yesterday and today, wow! It's fun seeing your posts because then I know what I am in for a little bit down the road with STS :eek: I really hope that your sinuses get better soon though. Are there allergies in this season in Germany that could make it worse for you? From your posts, it sounds like you have been suffering from this for a while though.

Lori- Your post sounded so chipper early in the morning like that. I did disc 7 this morning and I will add stability ball push-ups to the 45 degree lunges. Are you serious, on the stability ball?!!!! I'm not even sure I want to try these ever again. I could actually hurt myself I think and hit the wall, who knows! I hope you had some nice girl time in the afternoon. I had to laugh at your daughter borrowing your clothes. As long as she doesn't leave them in a rumpled heap on the floor, you will be ahead of the game :p

Iris- Glad you had fun at the tracks and came out ahead woohoo! Well done on BM2 double upper body. And then you had enough energy right when you got up to do GS legs. I'm impressed! This group is very motivating. It certainly helps me not slack! Still amazed that of all the thread I could have joined, I found one with two locals. It's fun. And the weather was much better today wasn't it?

Amelia- I am looking forward to your DOMS reports after P90X, and now I have to figure out what dive bombers are too :eek: Well done on the pushups and getting your pictures taken. From your sig it looks like you have gotten so far already! These pictures will look great with your success story! And you can then start thinking of the new bathing suit you are going to have to get for the new pictures!

Cookie- well done on Viper, that's a tough one that's for sure. I'm still not getting my ab workouts in. Congrats on the new bedroom furniture. Good luck with the oral surgery if not already done. And yep, the bouncy bounce took care of the kids alright yesterday!

Trish- Hope your MIL is doing better everyday. Are you going to post pictures of the kittens so we can all go Aawwww!

Hi Maudite, Gianna and Debbie.

Got to do Disc 7 (chest, biceps and shoulders). It started with only a few pushups, almost got me excited until we got to all the ones in the middle of the disc. And forget about the stability ball ones, I'll just insert other pushups if I ever see these again! My calf is still cramped up from yesterday :mad: so I am not sure what I should do tomorrow but cardio might not be a good idea. I was thinking legs, but I'm not sure about that either. So it might have to be a rest day. I seem to take these once every five days anyway without meaning to. Hey, that means I would get to sleep in 'til 6 tomorrow morning! :eek: Not much else to report. FIL is leaving in Friday. He's been here almost 6 weeks. I feel quite saintly, but now it really is time for him to go even if he only comes once a year.

Iris, I love Hardcore and Terminator! A lot of work. I usually try to do a Terminator or Hardcore wo at least once a week. I work on the left side, but live on the right side of the river. Only I spend more time going back and forth, I think. So what did you buy with your winnings? Cup of coffee? BTW, thanks so much for calling Steve.
Deb, are you back from vacation yet? Hope you're relaxed.

Helene, the humidity yesterday was horrible. Do you run out of time before getting your ab work in? That happens to me quite often, but most likely caused by my not wanting to do them, though. Do you do kickboxing? That works them good.
Lori, sorry your neighbor woke you up so early. Did he want you to come assist at the time? Are you and your dd the same size? Mine and I are pretty close. She got aggravated to find out we were about the same.
Did an interval wo, and it took a while to cool down. My DD is visiting. Picked him up at my sisters to go see Vanderbilt Mansion, but he has the newspaper and Consumer Reports in his hands. Wants me to trade in my care and purchase another under Cash for Clunkers. Wouldn't listen to me about milage, age of car, etc. Got lunch and finally gave in. After test drives select a car. Start negotiations and then discover my car doesn't qualify under the program. Said I didn't want a car now anyway. I mean I just got a new bed, mattress, have the wedding in a week and a half, honeymoon, and one son moving to Taiwan and another to Mexico. I want to save some $ for travelling. Plus one of my sisters is getting married this fall in Vegas. Vegas doesn't appeal to me but being that close to the Grand Canyon really interests me.

Howdy ladies,

Late check in for me. Just got back from taking the girls to Sesame Place. They had a blast. Lots of water rides and Sesame St. characters walking around. Today's wo was CC8. I completed 8.17 miles (a new best for me:)) in 56 mins and burned 586 cals. My energy level was so good this morning. Wish it could be that way all the time. Tomorrow is D21...back and triceps, I think.

Belinda - Even though you dropped in your weights, looks like you had a great wo! Very impressive!

Lori - ^5s on the LB doms. it seems that these Meso 2 DOMs last for 3-4 days for me and they always feel slightly different than the previous weeks. How do you make spaghetti in the slow cooker? My MIL bought me one for Christmas last year and I love it. Last winter I made chili almost every weekend..so yummy to have around. I've been shopping for a new one because it is a 2.5 or 3 quart and I would love a 6-7 quart to be able make and freeze dishes. Which one do you use? I am so surprised to see the negative reviews many of them get.

Amelia - OY! Those dive bomber push ups are tough! I don't think I do them right at all! Cathe makes it look so easy...I'm sure Tony does, too! How does Ab Ripper compare to Cathe's core workouts? I have to bug my co-worker to let me borrow it.

Iris - Nice job on the back to back workouts! So, what is Daytona? Is that a new reality show?

Helene - ^5 on your D7 wo! I think I average one rest day every 5 days also. I just can't seem to keep to 6 days a week. Since you asked, here they are:) (Awwww!) Our kitties are a bit bigger now, these pics were taken when they were about 9 weeks. They are about 13 weeks now. They are a mix between a calico and russian blue. The boy is named Sterling and the girl is Matroyshka. They are lots of fun although we have had some trouble with them urinating on the carpet:confused:

Cookie - That's so funny...my DH has been trying to convince my MIL that she needs to trade in her clunker, too. That's the last thing on her mind!

DDs are finished with camp and will be traveling into NYC with me tomorrow to back-up care. They are so excited to be riding the train:) I hope they don't drive the other riders crazy. Early morning commuters are not all that friendly:confused:

I am sitting here drinking my coffee and trying to wake up;) After my coffee I will get my workout in, not sure what cardio I will do today?

Helene, I wasn’t to impressed with my workout yesterday, just didn’t had it in me! I had an allergies test done, I have no allergies! I had sinus surgery in April, the doctor didn’t do a very good job. That’s way I need a second one. BTW, nice job with disc 7. Yeah those stability push ups are different, took me awhile to get the hang of those. Glad you had fun with your FIL, 6 weeks is a long time.

Cookie, awesome job about interval workout today. What did you do? Sorry about the care, it will save you money not trading it in. Oh, by the way! The Grand Canyon is a must, very beautiful.

Trish, glad your girls had a blast at the park. ^^^5’s on your 8.17 miler, very impressive! Enjoy disc 21 tomorrow. Love the pic., cute kitty!
