Hi and good morning,

Today I will do light cardio, not sure what yet?

Lori, nice job on your 12 km and disc 25 yesterday. I see you still doing STS, good for you. Hope you get that computer problem fixed soon, mis having you around.

Hallo Cookie, nice hearing from you, we missed you. Glad you had a relaxing vacation. I did Total yoga “earth”, really liked that one. Here is the link to the ticker, they are cool! http://www.thecathenation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=266636

Debbie, good for you tossing that cake, saved you a lot of calories.

Hallo to Trish, Iris and Gianna,

Have a great day and workout, everyone!

Hallo again:eek:

I just did CCV3 outside. I burned 450 cal., no spirnts. I did a nice, easy and sweaty run:p:eek: I do have to admit, I had a hard time not to sprints:rolleyes: It is my recovery week!

Off to enjoy the day.

My best to all. Gotta run. I will be back later.

Morning

Today i will do what i was suppose to do yesterday. Chest & Triceps then some cardio, maybe some abb work.

There's a story on the news that has scared me. I women in her 40's disappeared last tuesday evening. She was walking in her neighborhood, talking on the phone to her boyfriend when the boyfriend heard her struggle with someone. They haven't found her yet:(.

So, im doing cardio indoors today:confused:

Belinda-WTG on your CC girl!

I will BB later with more personals from yesterday and to report my workout:)

Good Morning Ladies.

Today is SJP.....it seems like all circuits and cardio this week....I don't think I touch all weights again until Sunday....I will have to look back over this rotation..lol (I'm doing the Aug. '06)

Cookie- Good to have you back! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip....=)

Belinda- Great job with CC! Is there good music on that? I meant to ask that awhile ago....I was just curious as to what was motivating about it..the music or is there someone always talking to you or both?

Amelia- I'm glad you are feeling better today! I can't believe it about that lady.......keep us posted on that....was this around you?

Lori- lol @ your husband snoring. What is it about guys that lets them fall asleep in 5 seconds and start making that awful noise??? lol

Ok BBL

Good Morning!

Just waking up and DS and I are disagreeing already. I will be able to deal with him better once this coffee is gone;)

Today is just cardio and abs. Its raining here though. I was kinda hoping it would soon rain b/c I need to get some house work done and thats really hard to do when DS wants to be outside all day long. So I am either going to have to go for my run, by myself in the rain, or do something downstairs later and get someone to watch him for me. My issue is that I have to go to work tonight as well. Maybe DH will watch him when he comes home for lunch:)

Belinda** I don't like having computer problems either. I use to really enjoy what I am doing now and thats sipping on my coffee and checking in. Even before I had DS I would drop DD off at school, pick up a coffee and spend some time on the forums. And you would not believe how ticked I would get when my running partner would show up with her coffee!

Ameila** Was that in your area where the lady went missing? I was watching that last night on Nancy Grace at work. That is soooo scary! I think I would work out inside alllll the time!

Iris** Have a good workout today. I haven't done a circuit in such a long time.

I don't think I have any DOMS from yesterdays workout:eek: Oh well!

Lori:)

Good morning girls,

I'm so :mad: the right side of my lower back is acting up again. It's been on and off. I'm going to take an active rest week (is there such a thing:D). I walked on the TM yesterday and will do that again. We leave for Florida on Thursday so I have a lot of things to do.

Belinda - Funny, I did CC3 yesterday it was weird walking during the sprints . . . I stayed at a level 2. I only put CC's on ipod still need to put music on there:rolleyes:. Have fun today.

Amelia - It sounds like your feeling better today, enjoy your w/o. I also read about that lady in the news. It makes me  that we have to worry about exercising outside.

Iris - Have fun with SJP today.

Lori - I hear you on having downtime on the computer. Tea for me:). I hope DS lets you get some housework done. Maybe you should give him a feather duster LOL. Have fun with your run today:)

Cookie - Sounds like your vacation was fun and relaxing now back to the rat race:) Did you enjoy the yogafit dvd? At least you were able to bring a friend too:D We still didn't drink the wine yet but thanks so much:)

Hi to Trish, Gianna, Helene & Maudite.

Have a great day everyone:)

Hey guys... workout done. Burned 378. Did my own mix of weights then got on the treadmill..

Oh no....that lady wasn't near me or anything, just scared me. She lived about two hours north/east of me. I couldn't believe she taught self defense classes & worked at a jail as a probation officer. I bet she gave the kidnapper a good fight. She will be in my prayers. Always something going on in the news...i just assume not watch it anymore:confused:

Debbie- Are you going on vacation? Have a great time! Sorry to hear about your back acting up agian...sending you healing vibes.

Lori-My DH snores alot too...very annoying. Have a good workout today!

Iris-Enjoy S,J&P today. I bet you will have some nice Doms sunday after going all week without any heavy lifting.

Thanks girls,im feeling alot better today. Hey to Helened,Maudite, Trish and Cookie:)

Morning Ladies,

It's me...Miss MIA :) Hope you're all doing well. I had been having sleeping trouble again, getting up @ 2:30/3:00 AM and staying up. Didn't get much cardio in last week but didn't miss a beat with STS. Hopefully this week will be better. I always feel like I'm starting over...SIGH!! So, today's wo was CCV5. I had to cut the cool down short because I was running late, but managed to complete 7.17 mi in 50 mins, burning 554 cals. I did a WI on sunday and gained back the 1.2lbs + .4lbs so it was definitely needed;)

Belinda - Nice job on CCV3. I used to hate the sprints because my breathing would be so erratic, but I've gotten much better with it and now I love them. Are sprints a no-no during rest weeks? Enjoy the rest of your day:)

Amelia - How have the kiddies been doing with school? Are you enjoying your free time? Nice job on your wo and cal burn today:)

Iris - Hey there! I hope all went well with your MRI?? Glad to see you're doing a rotation. Enjoy SJP:)

Lori - It's nice that you have a dedicated check in time. I should try that...maybe I will be more consistent with it. My DH snores too..it is especially annoying when I'm trying to get back to sleep @ 3:00AM:mad: Enjoy your house cleaning/rain run.

Deb - Hope your back is feeling better soon. What part of Florida are you headed to?

Hello to everyone I missed!

Hi girls.

Amelia, I just saw it on the news, I hope they find her alive. WTG, on your Chest & Triceps and TM workout today.

Iris, the Aug. rotation looks good. Have fun with SJP, nice sweat fest. I think both motivates me with CC”. I love the music in CCV1, get’s me going every time. I have a confession to make, I didn’t like CC at first. My first time listening to CC, I thought “WTH”! LOL! Then I gave it a second try, listen to Sean and the music. I was hooked. I was used to iTreads, they do tell you how fast you should go.

Lori, hope the rain stops so you get your run in. Hope it will work out for you. I remember those times, when the kids wonna play all day long outside and I didn’t get anything done around the house. Don’t worry, once it gets cooler you will have all the time in the world to clean. Enjoy the time with DS.

Debbie, glad you are listen to your body and taking a rest week. ((((HUGS))) hope you feel better soon. Glad you enjoyed CCV3 yesterday as much as I did.

Trish, you are back! Yah! Glad to hear you stayed on track with STS. Sorry, you are not getting enough sleep. Do you drink caffeine at night? WTG, on CCV5 and calorie burn. Cathe said light cardio, so I am taking it easy.

Hi to everyone that follows. I will try to be back later.

Hi Belinda,

Hhhmm...I didn't realize light cardio was recommended. I'll remember that for my rest week. No caffeine at night for me. Just can't seem to shut my ind off at night when I have things going on at work or elsewhere. The worst part of it all is that sometimes I don't even know what it is that's keeping me awake.

BBL

Hello!

Well it is hot outside here. Not a good time to go for a run (not that I am inclined to do one at the moment LOL).

Belinda: How does the week off feel so far? I know it must be a bit weird. I just realized that at the end of the week I'll have been doing STS for 4 weeks but I don't get a break until the end of Meso 1 :( After your posts I was thinking maybe I would get one too. I guess I'll just have to look forward to Thrusday which is my dedicated off day. I will have to give these CC workouts a go some day but the treadmill is busted and after Amelia's posts about that lady, I'm not sure I'm in the mood for running in the neoghborhood. And yes, I am originally from France but haven't been home since DS and DH.

Amelia: Glad to read that you are better today. It looks like you had a good workout. Way to go! Are you eating clean? I'm trying my hardest. They always say it's 80% what you eat. I should put post-its reminding me of that everywhere. :p I'm just glad that my DH's cake decorating classes are over. I'm not always good at saying NO. Easier if it's not around at all.

Lori: I see your posts about your DS and I try not to think of my future. Hopefully I have a few years ahead of me before that kicks in I hope. Your workouts are always impressive. I hope you can get your run in today. As for your DH snoring, LOL, I'd be happy to put up with my DH's snoring if he would quit coughing all the time. Seriously, who drags a cold for 4 weeks in the middle of the summer?!

Deb: Sorry to hear you back is bothering you again. I hope you can reset it in Florida  It's bound to be nice and steamy at this time of the year.

Iris: I hope you are enjoying yourself with SJP. At this time of the year, you could go outside for a sweat fest and that would almost be enough, you would just be missing the cardio :D

Cookie: Hi, I joined the group while you were on vacation. I missed where that was, but it sounded like it was somewhere great!

Trish: Hello as well. I am currently doing the 6 1/2 month STS rotation. I am having a lot of fun with it and it is keeping me really motivated. Checking in with the group is a great help for me and a lot of fun as well.

Hi Maudite and Gianna. Hope all is well and your workouts productive.

I did LowMax this morning. I think I didn't have enough coffee in me though. I was dragging a bit. Thursday off can't come soon enough. I just have to make it through tomorrow with STS Disc 5 (tris and back) for the second time around.

Everyone enjoy the rest of the day.

Helene

Hi Helene - Yup, I find that checking in really helps me to stay committed. This past week was challenging...I had broken sleep which left me with little energy for workouts. But, just reading all that you guys have been up to has me re-focused;) Great job on LM this morning (definitely a favorite!).

Hey Girlie Girls

Im back to work again:confused: But ah...there is no nose here...peace and quiet....do what I want when I want! :D I do love my home life just the same!:p

I did DM today, for a change. Oh and it wasn't the easiest thing I have tried to do with a 2 1/2 yr old running around. He did everything to me that you could imagine. I had his t.v set up on the other side of the room but he had to be in my area. Steping on the step, taking my ball, throwing balls at me, eating out of the dogs dish...ugh! But I got it done, with about 5 time outs to boot! LOL

Helene** So you haven't started a family yet? Im guessing you have lots of time for that? I have a 13 yr old daughter...I had her when I was 17 and a 2 1/2 yr old son. I have it coming at me from all angles. I have the drama of a 13 yr old girl, with the needs of a 2 yr old:confused: Some days I could jump into uncoming traffic! LOL! Not really but one of these days you will know what I mean!

Trish** Im finding it kind of hard to stick to the STS as well. Not b/c Im not enjoying it but its just soooo long and with summer right in the middle of it, doesn't help. I am on the go alot in the summer time so its kinda hard to stick to anything other then cardio. I can't imagine waking up that early and not getting back to sleep. What time do you go to bed?

Ameila** Good job with your workout! DH doesn't snore that often, thank goodness! And once I give him a poke, he usually stops.

Deb** Hope your back feels better soon!

Belinda** Its still raining here! Blah! Im not sure what tomorrow is suppose to be like!

I may bbl, I should do some work, I suppose!

Lori:D

Hey Lori - LOL..I had a similar situation on Sunday...My little ones were allover while I tried to do LIC. I don't know what I was thinking working out in the late morning:confused:. I am trying really hard to stick with STS, but I am itching to do a FF rotation. I always had such good results and right now that's what I need. We'll see if I stick it out for Meso 3. Have a good night.

'Evening!
Boy, it so humid here, I look like I did a wo.
Belinda, love those tickers. Isn't it crazy that I'm like Ohhhh, I want that. How come I never feel that way about carrots and celery? Those weights you listed the other day were just incredible.
Amelia, that's so scary about that lady. Any updates? You better be careful when you're out running. Are you feeling better today?
Lori, you get a wo in just trying to wo with little ones around.
Trish, I hate those times of not being able to go back to sleep. Last week, I woke up in the middle of the night and moved to the dining area to read. Twenty minutes later, my friend comes down 'cause she also was awake. Perhaps it is another "stage" we go thru in life. Glad you're back checking in. I missed you.
Helene, I went to the Nags Head on the Outer Banks of NC. That place helps me make it thru our lovely winters up here. How old is your DS?
Iris, just curious, how do you choose your rotations? Am trying to figure out what I'll do in Sept. Between now and then I'm trying to do more yoga, total body, and intervals. My DH snores and as you know, he drives me crazy with it. Let's just say, I told him if he doesn't get one of those sleep masks, he might be in the market for a death one.
Gianna, how's everything with you. Hope all is well.
Deb, so you're packing, huh? Lucky you. Sorry about the lower back. Do you think it could be related to your shoes? Just have noticed that's often what it is with me. The YogaFit dvd was great. Really reminded me of the class. After it, I added in a yoga-based core wo and used a small 6# med ball in place of the yoga ball, and my abs are tender. I'm hoping to squeeze it in again tomorrow, perhaps in place of a tb wo. Can you believe how my whole attitude about yoga has changed? Are your sons going with you?
Today was Imax Extreme. What a sweaty mess I was when done with shaking legs.
Sleep well,
Cookie
