Morning girls

Today is a makeup day. Ive got Arms & shoulders + abb ripper then some yoga to do. Im not really sure how much of either i will do:confused:

Ugh,my eating has been a disater the last couple of days. so frustrating...im not sure why i can't get my sh*t together and lose weight....this is going on what 3yrs now that ive been complaining about not losing:rolleyes:. Its my fault...maybe i should wire my mouth shut:p

Belinda-you must be sleeping in the morning. How is your hip today?

Iris-OMG.....SO EXCITED FOR YOU! YAY, WTG GIRL

Lori-My goodness...i hope your day is better than yesterday:confused: maybe your ds will be tired today and take a couple of naps...

Trish-I say do what you want to do..if you feel like you want to do some light lifting during your rest week then go for it. I would definitely take atleast 3days off though...why not take advantage:D

Helened-Any special plans for the three day weekend? Awesome job on your workout yesterday..i don't burn alot of cals during my weight sessions either...except for legs. To answer your question from yesterday, i would say noodles are what has really opened my eyes, now i realize i wasn't eating enough of them...which is cool. Oh and peanut butter...mygoodness, i can't believe how little 2tbs is

Cookie-How was the dinner with your father? Whats on tabs for the day?

Maudite-whats on tabs for today?

Yesterday i burned 888 cals and I was at it for two hours and eight minutes:eek: thats all i did as far as workouts go.

Hi Ladies:D

I had a great night sleep last night! Ah! I feel soooo much better. 3 early mornings are a bit much for me.

I may get DD to watch the kids today while I go outside for a run. While I am waiting to do that I think I may be able to workout while they play.

Ameila** Good job with the calorie burn. It would be nice if you had the dough to go see someone. Like a personal training or a dietician who can tell you what you need to be doing. When we are trying to figure out weightloss ourselves, its confusing. I know the best time I ever did was when I wasn't eating my cals. My weight always stayed the same ( im talking about a measly 5 lbs) b/c I ate sweets b/c I thought I could b/c I had ran so far. Now, I don't eat any differently when I workout or don't.

Belinda** Where are you??

Iris** FINALLY! I bet you feel great!!!

Trish** Yep..there was alot of mind losing last night. I can see why people snap.

I will bbl!

Good Morning Ladies.

I am very excited.....but I'm having a bit of anxiety about booking flight and hotel. I dont' know if it would be better to do flight and hotel separately...or do an all inclusive package. I'd like to stay the day before and after so I can have some lazy time!! And if I"m going to go and spend this kind of money already, I might as well go all out and maybe get an oceanfront room.

Today will be a run and then some yoga again.....I've been on the yoga train for a bit now and it's helping.......

Amelia- Great Cal burn!! For what it's worth I think you are doing great with everything.

Trish- I've been in your spot, and I did your first option...and take 3-4 days instead of the whole week....gives you plenty of time to rest, get your thoughts together, and decide what it is you want to do next. Not that I'm the poster child for sticking to anything the past few months, but that would be my choice. :p

Ok all bbl

My DH asked me about it yesterday...i think i will save the money up to go and see a dietician. It couldn't hurt anything. Ive also thought about doing what FitnessFreak(Debbie) suggested back in janurary...1600-1700, but im afraid of starvation mode, most calorie calculaters have me at 1900-2200 cals a day to lose 1lb a week.
One thing is for sure, something is wrong because i will go a couple of weeks of perfect eating the scale doesn't budge:( . I havent had my blood tested in a while either?
as you can see...ive given the matter alot of thought,LOL:rolleyes:

high five on the good nights rest..enjoy your run!

'Morning!
Belinda, hope all is well with you. You've been rather quiet lately. Are the doms still getting to you.
Lori, understand about losing your mind. If you ever find a brain lying around, it's mine. I lost it a long time ago. Perhaps your DD can pop in a dvd for the kis to watch, or do they nap? Until my youngest son could talk and be understood, he would get very frustrated. Wonder if your DS is the same.
Amelia, ran into B&N last evening to pick up an order and also got The End of Overeating. Your post reminded me to tell you about it. Wonder if you can get it from your library. Tried to request it from mine, but there's a long list of others ahead of me. So I purchased it, plus knowing me I think I'll need to reread it several times over my lifetime. The long list of others requesting it makes me realize how many others struggle with this issue.
Trish, while I'm no expert I really see the benefit of taking rest from wts. STS made me a lot stronger nothing has really made my body wt budge much in yrs. I loved the feeling and results from doing it and will do it again. I like the shorter rotation, tho.
Iris, really happy for you and am glad you booked. You need and deserve a break. Gave someone money yesterday to place a bet on Sat's race. I need to recoup some money from all that is going out the past month. Just got my tax bill yesterday.
Helene, getting everyone out in the morning is like a whole 'nother wo! When everyone was home it was full of stress, but not as bad as the evenings with dinner, homework, sports, and mtgs.
Deb, ohh nice on spreading the celebration over a few days. Today is one of my sister's b'day, and last nite we took dad out for his (not til next month). So the 6 of us all started to say we were celebrating our birthdays too, and others in the restaurant heard us and joined in. Hey, every day we're another day, right. Only you keep getting better. Did you order the bar?
Better get going. Have mtgs this am and a hair appt this afternoon, driving duties to and from DD's soccer practice, plus a b'day celebration for my sister. Oh, plus finishing up details for tomorrow's food and celebration in lieu of a wedding rehearsal...
Gotta figure out how to squeeze in a double wo first.

Good morning girls,

Today I'm going to the gym not sure if I will spin, bootcamp or TM?? Off to work after that.

Belinda - I hope all is well with you:) . . . maybe catching up w/ZZZ's.

Iris - I can't wait to hear all about Daytona. You won't regret it:)

Lori - You poor thing DS is wearing you out, bet you can't wait till the terrrible 2's are over. Thank god for running:D

Amelia - I hear you sometimes it's so hard to pinpoint the eating:(.

Cookie - It sounds like your celebration went well. Still deciding on the bar.

Helene - Don't be discouraged with STS, I just personally wished I had done the 3mo. rotation.

Have a great day everyone!

Debbie, what class did you end up taking? How are you liking your new gym?

Cookie-I just tried to get that book on hold at my library...its not on file there. I will try agian soon.

ok...its 12:51 and no workout. im very content on doing laundry and watching tv :p so i think its safe to say that today is my rest day. Maybe i can do todays workout on sunday(my scheduled rest day)

Hi Ladies!:)

Late checkin for moi. I was kept going all day. We went shopping for school supplies in the a.m and then I went for my run around 2'ish. Still no weights done but I will probably do those tomorrow b/c there will be little or no cardio tomorrow.

My run was 22.5 kms long. The first half of the run was very windy but wind doesn't really bother me. On the way back though, the wind magically disappeared! It wasn't even pushing me:mad: I thought I would have alittle help...but nooooooooooo! I wasn't prepared for that long of a run though. Usually I plan ahead so I eat well. I don't think I had a sensible meal all day. I usually don't do that either! I kinda picked all day, then went for a run and was so wiped during the end of it.

Ameila** If I had to eat what a website suggested i would gain weight. There is no way I could eat over 2000 cals a day. I think you could eat alot of food for 1600 cals if you eat the right things. Hope you had a good day. Its funny how we consider a chore day a rest day! Again...its a mans world!!!

Iris** Well..are you doing any shopping? I think I would save my money for clothes if i had to pick one but if ya got lotsa dough...then do them both. You only go one way in this life!!!

Cookie** Oh...I think I have picked my brain up off the floor a few times! My SIL asked today if DS was better behaved and when I told her "yes" she said that I didn't seem so strung out. It didn't help that I only had a few hours of sleep the night before. I think DS's problem is that he can't communicate that well. Half of the time I know what he wants, just b/c I know him. If it were anyone else they would be totally confused. Everyday he is saying something new though, just waiting for him to put all of his words together.

Deb** What workout did you decide? Sometimes I feel like running and not coming back!

I will bb in the a.m!

Lori:)

'Evening!
Did blasts only from Imax 3 and then L&G this morning. Two meetings, and then my DD and I had hair appts. Colored my roots, redid DD's highlights and cut and styled her's and there went my paycheck. But heck I looked good while paying. Tonight was another birthday celebration, this time for my sister - pizza and cake. Tomorrow is rehearsal - food and wine. I'm overspending money and calories like crazy!
Lori, reading about your DS reminded me of how challenging mine was until he had well-developed language skills. When my DD came home, she didn't speak English, so we used sign language as an intermediary step, and that worked really well.
Amelia, did you get that laundry done? I'm gonna move to the couch to read the newspapers and hopefully start the book. I'll let you know how it is.
Iris, did you decide on a room? Glad you booked. What yoga have you been doing? Any recommendations?
Trish and Helene, what are you up to today?
Deb, what did you decide to do? Are you going out to dinner tomorrow with your family?
