Columbus, OH Roadtrippers....

Hello!
I was curious if anyone from the Columbus, OH area was planning on going to the roadtrip? I can't decide if I want to fly or drive. I really don't want to drive that far alone. I need to figure out which is more cost effective. Suggestions are welcome!

I'm right down the road from you in Dayton. Do you know if there are any others from Columbus or Dayton planning to attend.

I'd rather fly in, but I don't want to fly in alone. If we could hook up somewhere and fly in together or as a small group that would be great!!

IF I go I'd be leaving from the Columbus airport (I'm from Mansfield). I need to decide by Friday if I can commit to the roadtrip, but if I do I'd love to go with other Ohioans.
 
Hi ladies. I'm in Cleveland. I drove the last time and I've got to tell you that that was a very wise choice - for several reasons. First of all, the drive itself was like an old college roatdrip. I went with another Cathe fan and it took us about 6 hours to drive. It really gave us time to gear up for the whole experience. Secondly, the more places I go the more I discover how I prefer to have my own transportation. For example, we went in on Thursday night and were able to take Cathe's Friday am step class free of charge - along with about 50 other RTers and her regulars. Then we got to explore the area. On Friday while waiting for the evening get together to get underway, we got to go shopping, spend some time talking with Cathe, meet some of the other trippers, etc. Since there is SOOOO much crammed into this weekend having that extra time and the option of mobility without being dependent on the group bus was great. We could use the bus if we wanter, but didn't have to. If I'm lucky enough to get in, I'll be leaving from Cleveland. I'd be happy to caravan it!

Dang it! There are too many options now!
All I know is that I want to go! I really don't care how I get there. You make a good point about going early too!!!

Decisions. Decisions.

Can we talk more about this later if we all get registered?

Absolutely! Let's see how many Ohio RTers we've got. I should also add that I love to drive - esp with no kids listening to Disney movies - totally theraputic! :)

Wow! I'm glad there are so many of us! Maybe driving would be better. For some reason I thought it would be a much longer drive. It would be fun to go early with some other Catheites! I have never gone to the Road Trip or met anyone so this is all a new experience for me! Hoping I get a place! Let's definitely talk about this once we get confirmed. Woohoo! I'm excited!
