Hi Colleen! I see you are still doing BFL. As of Monday, I started back on BFL and I have also been tracking my food on the Fitday program I purchased. I've noticed I'm having a hard time getting a 40/40/20 split. For the past few days it has been more around the 50 carb/20 protein/30 fat instead. I know why the carbs are on the high side, I have one soda a day to jump start my day because I am so sleep deprived from my 3 month old DD not sleeping. I plan to order some BFL protein bars so hopefully that will help me considerably. Do you have any pearls of wisdom you would like to share with me? What kind results are you or have you received by doing BFL? How long have you been doing BFL again? I know it has been a while because everytime I've tried to start up with BFL you have been there with great advice and encouragement.

The biggest piece of advice I have is to plan plan plan. If I plan, I am prepared and never caught without a healthy food option.

I think it has been 3 or 4 years now. I started wanting to lower bodyfat moreso than lose weight. I've been at a maintenance phase for about the last year with my dad being sick and then passing away. I haven't been on plan that much.

Overall, I only lost about 3 lbs or so, maybe 5 (don't own a scale) but lost 2" in my waist, hips and abs. I was in a tight 5 and now wear 2s and 3s.

I'd die without my caffiene :) I'm a diet coke gal and I have a bit of non-bfl sweetener in one cup of coffee every morning.

Please feel free to ask any questions or share anything you learn that may help. By the way, one thing that helps with my meals is the EFL book. It has very good and easy recipes. Even DH likes the recipes!
