Step n' motion, just wondering why you don't want to sell your newer videos or DVDs through the Collagevideo catalog anymore? Just curious!

Obviously, I'm not Step N Motion, but I think I can answer your question: it's my understanding Collage Video objected to the price discounts Cathe was offering on her productions (especially multiple-video purchases), which could oftentimes be better buys for the consumer than what Collage could or would offer. I think a line in the sand was drawn, and Cathe elected not to continue marketing her subsequent releases through them.

I found my first Cathe workouts through Collage (I-Max 1 and Body Max), and Collage is a great clearinghouse for a wide variety of vid and DVD workouts, but I highly respect Cathe for going her own route.

I know Cathe has answered this one before and I did a search and couldn't find much. I think you are right Aquajock if I remember correctly. Also, didn't it have something to do with Collage would not let her advertise her website in the video cases? That would make sense because I ordered my first Cathe from Collage video, then saw her website on a flyer that came with the video and I never ordered from collage again BECAUSE I could get the multiple discounts. Why in the world would I go back to collage video (for a Cathe purchase)? Collage does have excellent customer service so I definitely use them to order other videos.

Not sure if this is part of the reason, maybe I dreamed this. Ha.

This question was asked here just a few weeks ago. You might want to do a search to get more info.

Thanks. I did ask this question a couple days ago but it went ignored by Sn'M. I was hoping Sn'M could tell me the official reason... Collage has the older videos for $17.95 plus with every 4 items you get a $4 discount, so the difference with videos wouldn't be that big. The Cathe DVDs don't really offer a big discount unless you are ordering ALL of them. Just as an example, I see Collage sells the Firm videos/sets at the same price as the Firm website. On the Firm DVD/video boxes and in the videos they advertise the website almost every other line. Alot of videos push thier own website and Collage still sells them.
Even if it still worked out to be a little more $$, I would pay the extra to Collage for thier awesome customer service.. they always make sure they get back to you the next business day.

Hi Fitnfirm! We have actually addressed this question a few years ago but now feel it is best to keep the specifics of the situation between Collage and Cathe.com. Thanks and have a great weekend :)
