Coke commercial...who IS that guy?

You know that Coke commercial with the dudes playing basketball in the park and this older guy with a bag of groceries comes up and teaches the young guy about a little respect? I'm not a basketball follower, but I absolutely love this commercial. I'm assuming the older guy is a former basketball pro, but I have no idea who.

Anyone? Anyone?

The guy is James Worthy who played for the Lakers. I have to be up on basketball, my son is a big fan.

Hmmmm...never heard of him. We don't actually have any basketball watchers in my family. But that guy is quite easy-on-the-eyes!

Sandy~Lindsey, the dark-haired, deep-voice gal was eliminated. It came down to her and Mikala. It was sad. She cried while she sang.

I thought for sure that Mikala would be eliminated. I don't understand why she is so popular.

My vote is for Nadia. I love her voice, charisma, stage presence and personality!!

Does anyone know the name of the song they sing in the Coke commercial where they are in a produce section of a grocery store throwing food in the air??? I LOVE that song. It is either called "I Want to be Free" or I Got to be Free." It might be Queen singing it but not sure. Maybe later when I have time I can check the link to see if it mentions it.

Me too. I can't "hear" what they hear in Mikala! She is sooo off-key in my opinion. I think the 4 finalists will be:

Another great commercial for either Coke or Pepsi, I can't remember which one, is the one where people go out of their way to do a simple, nice deed for a stranger. The one that sticks in my mind is the casually dressed guy who opens his umbrella and holds it in front of another guy who's in a business suit, so he doesn't get splashed when the car that's coming goes through the puddle.


That Queen song is awesome, too. I love Freddie Mercury. Now if one of those American Idol singers could tackle a Freddie Mercury song, you know they're a good singer. I liked Mikayla during the earlier shows, but haven't been so fond of her since in the last 3 weeks. I think she'll be the next to go.
