Since including coconut oil into my diet not only has my bodyfat level dropped, but energy level has increased, hungry after meals has gone and i truly know when to stop eating. I just feel "i've had enough" it took a little time to reach an ideal level of oil (by the spoon) but now that i have it only gets better. I now cook with coconut oil in replace of all other oils (other than butter). And i've bought dried coconut pecies to eat during the day which i put with rasins and some nuts. I also make a great protein bar with coconut oil and coconut chips.
The reserach on this stuff keeps getting better and better and applying it to the skin at night has amazing benefits. The other day when in the gym a friend of mine said if i was putting any oil on my body as my skin was "glowing". I'm not but due to the high intake of oil (coconut) my skin is like silk. Soft. And shines (not greasy).
I'm so glad i posted about this weeks back. Please let me know how you are all doing and if you're finding it helps with weight loss and anything else.
A really good book is "eat fat, lose fat" i cannot recommend it enough.

I just recieved my 3 jars of Garden of Life EVCO yesterday. But I need to know how to eat it and melt it to get it into water or juice? Any advice would be great. I also have a book on the way hasn't arrived yet. Can't remember which one I bought.

thanks

Penny

Have you had any tests since doing this, to check your HDL/LDL, triglcerides, other health factors?

OOh I'm curious too about the answer to Kathryn's question. Thanks, Kathryn!

Where do you get dried coconut pieces that aren't treated or sweetened??

Health food store.
Have i had any tests done. Nope. None as yet.
Am i worried? No way. I'd be more concerned with eating processed foods (bread, bagels, etc...) than consuming a diet high(er) in fat from natural sources (coconut oil, butter, etc...) as these are found in nature and not made in the vat of man.
