Clips of upcoming new Tracie Long Focus & LONGevity Vol 5 workouts

These do look good, but I guess I should use the other ones of hers I have before I think of getting more, LOL!

I'd also probably buy through Mary at Total Fitness DVDs, as Tracie's shipping costs are usually sky high.

Hi Denise:

Thanks for the heads up!!! Wow, I am very pleased to see these come out! The clips look GREAT! I love that Tracie always goes back to her signature moves and presentation style. She always manages to throw in a "triple" into the workout.

Tracie Long has always been a favorite of mine. She'll hold a special place in my heart because when I first started working out, I used the Firm Cross Trainers "The Hare", featuring Tracie. I ALWAYS admired her physique and musculature. She looks incredible in these DVDs. I never really got into the FitPrime's, but I'll definitely be ordering these (along with Michelle Dozoios).

Kathyrn: Thanks for the heads up regarding checking for these at Mary's site. I'll check to see if Tracie is offering a good deal on her black friday sale. if not, Mary will definitely have my order!

Have a great day, ladies!

They look great, but . . .

How do you incorporate Tracie's workouts into your rotation. I have been impressed with the clips of her recent releases, but most of her videos seem to be a hybrid of weights + cardio, so I'm not really sure how to incorporate them into a balanced weight/cardio rotation. Do you use them as circuits? Full body? Help!

I would do the ones that mix weights & cardio as circuits or cardio/sculpt. Others have chosen to do them like they would Firm workouts and just "do them", as in just pick one and then do it, maybe going light on weights one day vs the next.

Hope that helps!

I tend to use them as light circuit workouts.

I can't wait for these. I love her stuff cuz it works your smaller muscles. I use them as light weight circuits.

I agree her legs are fab....but Kelly Coffey runs a close 2nd with those lean muscular legs! I think Kelly does a lot of plyo!

I would use them as a total body/circuit. I might also use it on the same day as a shorter tempo run. I used to take a cycle/circuit class and then do a 3-4 mile walk on the track, LSB (long slow boring.) style after wards. I did lose weight doing that.

As for Tracie's legs I would bet that the strength is from a combination of her plyo work and running hills. I have similar muscular strength (can't see all of it, I also have about 50 pounds to lose.) from jogging up hills.

I might also order these. I like that she uses a small stage, you can do this in an apt. or your bedroom. I couldn't buy the new Cathe workout because there was too much off the side of the step action. I don't have an off the side, I have a bed and a bookcase. I do appreciate that one of the new workouts is on the high step. I would really like to see a whole series (week's worth of workouts) on the high step.
