Cleaning Eating - Happy June 1st

Wow Robin...THAT is very impressive!!! You are a better woman than I :p .

I was actually able to stick to my menu plan today and had a pleasant surprise tonight...I was actually down 1.6lbs from where I was 5 days ago. Now I know that I shouldn't be a slave to the scale and that weight does fluctuate but I should be GAINING 2lbs this week (TTOM) and I'm at my lowest weight first thing in the morning, not at night so I'm thinking that there may actually be a wee bit of progress. So I have to say thanks for the check-in!

Have a great night everyone.

You guys are doing great, I just wanted to slink into the check in and complain. Why don't I give a flip about being accountable to anyone else? It would make it so much easier. Oh well. Y'all hang in there. Tomorrow is another day for me.

Hi, Clean Eaters!
It sounds like everyone's doing pretty well with this clean eating.
I bought the book by Tosca Reno last night, and I like it so far.
My meals today started out good, but got a little unclean!
B--oatmeal, high-fiber toast, apple
L--veggies on whole wheat wrap, hummus
D--went to El Porton for Mexican--uh,oh!--had only four or five
chips, but then ate a cheese and chicken quesadilla with guacamole
and a little sour cream
I'll have to start fresh tomorrow! Thanks for posting your delicious
and healthy menu ideas!

I am just thrilled that I did not eat M&Ms this week-I grabbed a few, thought of you guys and threw 'em in the toilet! Seriously, the extra sugar thing is big for me, and I really have done well with that this week. Plus, I have cut my coffee from about 3 large cups per day to 1 1/2. Very good for me. I am pretty happy. Now for the wine.:p

Tneah,

I know EXACTLY what you mean because I am positively addicted to stuff like M&M's. I can eat almost a pound bag (if they are the peanut butter ones) in one night!!! So embarassing. Don't know how I remain thin. Still, it's incredibly unhealthy. I haven't had ANY sugar since Tuesday. It's tough. I really want to but I told myself I would really do this challenge and that is my plan.

I am hoping it will become easier at some point and I won't crave it, but that hasn't happened yet.
