Yesterday I was looking in my freezer for meet to defrost and I came across some girl scout cookies

:-( I ate about 5 of them...frozen. Oh well today is a new day.

treat- NO COOKIES

Unfortunately I did not work out, but fortunately I got an extra 1.5 hrs. of sleep! Will def. do my wo tonight.

Frozen GS cookies - were they thin mints? Those are the BEST frozen! And they just pop in your mouth so nicely. Looks like you have a good day planned today to make up for it!

Started on my water, here's what the plan is:

s - nuts maybe?
l - ooh, I have leftovers PF Changs...maybe I should go throw it out right now. Will probably eat...gosh, I don't know!

d - salad of some sort

Good morning Robin and Kate and all that follow!
I have a box of Girls Scout cookies the peanut butter and choc. ones I forgot about until your post Robin, lets just say that we took "care" of those last night.
Just bracing for Tropical Storm Erin this am, becuase thats what we need is MORE rain!

Hey Clean Eaters!! Just wanted to pop in & say I'm still eating clean but was w/out internet for a while! Still having issues so we're getting a new line that won't be hooked up til next Wed! I'm on dial up til then, so things are a LOT slower!

So my day.... 4.5 mile run & 200 walking lunges.

Liquids ~ 40 oz water so far..., cup of coffee

Breakfast ~ Oatmeal (1/2 c. old fashioned oats, 1 T. wheat germ, 1 T. ground flax, 1/2 scoop choc. protein powder, 1 T. NM PB, and 1/2 c. cott. cheese). And a few blueberries.

Snack ~ Probably yogurt & an apple

Lunch ~ Packing a lunch to take to the pool w/ the girls today.

Snack ~ Not sure yet

Dinner ~ Eating out w/ all of my extended family at an awesome Italian place. They do have a really yummy Cobb salad so I think I'll get that instead of the pasta!

Usual, oatmeal
Last night i had a great salad, and added honey mustard hemp salad dressing. It was great, totally clean, not even added sugars. I'm craving more of that i think for tonight.
I have to host a baby shower for a colleague today. Guess what, ordered cake...but also a fruit and veggie tray!!! make my co workers eat clean too.

Good Morning!

Sorry for not posting yesterday but I am have been very busy at work. I am looking for a new job and the company I work for contacted me and asked me if I would work at another client site (I work in government contracting). I could also stay where I am and become an employee instead of a contractor. I know in a few weeks everything will work itself out, but the challenge is making the decision.

Sounds like we are starting to fall off the wagon - GS cookies, PF Changs, me with the candy bowl at work. I will try to stay away from it today.

I have some recipes at home and I will try to remember to share them this weekend.

Here's the plan:

w/o was Imax 3

b: kashi w/ bananas
l: at the mercy of our lunch vendor today - probably lentil soup and a veggie sandwich if they bring that
s: veggies, grapes
d: tbd

ugh...had a couple of bites of banana bread but it was just a couple. I'm trying to stay out of the kitchen until an early lunch.

I think lunch is going to be eggs, peppers, and 9-grain toast. Going to throw out PF leftovers. I'm convincing myself that it would be gross leftover.

There. I feel much better. I've been at the same weight for 3 days now and I'm determined to weigh less tomorrow A.M.

Mikkia - TAGALONGS! I don't even buy them because DH doesn't like them and I know I'd eat the whole box! Tropical storm?! I don't have TV so I'm so far removed from current events. Hope you're safe! Your taco salad sounds good. I have a huge tomato from neighbor's garden. I think I'll make that for dinner.

Jess - Sorry about the internet! Bummer. ^5 on the run & lunges. Wish I liked running...

Steph - What's TTOTM? Good luck resisting cake. My total weakness.

Colleen - Good luck w/ the work decision. I'm currently avoiding work by posting here. I resent work right now big time. Oh, I love IMax 3. Do you modify anything or do you do it as is? There's the one blast where you hop around the step like a rabbit on speed! I def. modify that one!

Good to chat w/ you gals...on to the grind stone....
 
Hi everyone. Well, I wasn't here yesterday, the kink in my back pregressively got worse until I woke up yesterday morning and couldn't even stand. I spent all day in bed & on painkillers. All I ate were carbs & some corn on the cob because I have a really sensitive stomach to those heavy-duty painkillers & I wanted to make sure everything stayed down. I'm feeling much better today & that's never happened to me before so I have no idea what started it in the first place.

On to the good stuff, today's food:

B - Steelcut oats w/ frozen blueberries
L - Soynut sandwich, steamed green & yellow beans, pineapples
D - Cold veggie pita pizza, probably some kind of fruit or fruit smoothie

Am I a weirdo for saying I never liked GS Cookies? The only ones I can remember tasting and being fond of were low-fat lemon things that were dusted in powdered sugar, I don't even know if they make those anymore. I'm one of those people that's picky about sweets - I want them to be homemade & fresh - then I would eat them until the cows come home.

I don't think I'll work out today, other than maybe abs. I really don't want to risk it again quite yet.
 
Swk18 - Huge sorry for your back troubles! Man, does that stink! I probably wouldn't risk a wo. either. Also on GSs - I prefer homemade too. Most grocery store treats are very easy to resist. I'm a big fan of fresh too. I love my homemade bread the day its made but after that, no way. It's still good it's just not awesome!

Finished my day well w/ a taco salad - heavy on the salad.

Workout tonight was LIC Total Body Sculpt. And I love the 1st cardio so much I tacked that on too.

Hoping for a great day tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have a good turnout here too!
