:::::::::: cLEAN & tidy weekend ::::::::::

Thanks for the great advice everyone!!

Shirl, I think I will do PUB / PLB / MM on those endurance weeks. I might even do B&G instead of PLB -- I DREAD B&G but I think I dread PLB even more! RE: 2 interval sessions per week... I own IMAX2 and IMAX3, and I am going to buy the original IMAX. Is this what you want me to do twice per week? I am NOT a runner, so that is out of the question. What else of Cathe's could I do that would qualify??

Today is my active rest day. We are about to leave, driving 2 hours to Richmond, then spending 5 or 6 hours cleaning, packing, and moving, then 2 hour drive home. Eating cereal now, rest of the day will probably be HIGH calorie, I will do my best.

Check back later!!

Morning

Waffle Ice cream sandwiches, brownies :9 you ladies are killing me.

I'm surprise but I understand Shirl you may just need a change w/o to start your weight lost again.

Katie I see you do have an active rest day. I guess we really never have a true rest day. Don't dread the slow and heavy w/o they are hard and you may like them.

Today's w/o was 4-DS HIS and chest, back. I was able to increase weights for example I used 17#, 21# DBs...I love those little pace buddies. S&H and Gym Style must have worked because I felt stronger today.

Here what my week looks like:
Mon-4DS LIS SCC and core
Tues-4DS BC Bi Tri
Wed-Kim Kickbox AK (no weights)
Thur-4DS KB and legs, core
Fri-BM2 or pilates
Sat- early morning training class
Week 4 of Feb will be a light recovery week.

Today after working out I was so hungry that I ate 2 egg whites, turkey bacon and one home-made blueberry muffin (real size muffin, not like King Kong size Dunkin Donuts muffin). So that was semi-clean but tasty.

Steph, Kate , Lori what's your plans for today.

I'm already trying to figure out a rotation for the CXT and I've not brought it yet.
:+ The weight training is good for 6 days, but the cardio will stretch into 1 1/2 weeks.

Off to church.

Morning clean peeps!!

Well, made it through the morning unscathed! its my rest day too, did CS!! and walked for an hour or so.

Katie, enjoy your rest day!

Kate, counselling was good, we're talking babies now :) We're hoping to be ready in about a year. Browniemax....sorry, i lost focus.

Shirl, we need an emotional checkin system! Saturday is my 'allowed' cheat, but honestly, if i was eating perfectly, i shouldnt need it. Hope things are going well for you today :)

Robin, i'm not giving up anything for lent, i always used to, but not this year, what about you??

Today, i think DH and i are going to shopmax! need a new living room rug, Pug ate it when she was small, and i was just waiting for the chewing phase to be over.
menu, later, not too sure yet, but clean as a whistle!!
Have a great day everyone
Steph

This year for lent, after valintines day, I'm giving up chocolate and I'm increasing my bible study.

I should give up impulse buying...LOL:D

Hi Everyone!

It has been a busy weekend and I still have a ton to do. I am still tired from my cold but I am getting better. So it is making it harder to get everything done. Yesterday I did my workout and errands and then it was time to go to in-laws. This morning I have been running around doing cleanmax and I still have more to do. I am supposed to try to get some work done this weekend, but I don't think I will have time for that either. Maybe I will have another slow week, so I won't fall to far behind.

Robin, my birthday is in Lent this year so I didn't give anything up.
Katie, good thing you will be working hard today to help burn some of those calories
Kate, chocolate brownie sundae sounds so good.
Shirl, I hate emotional eating!!! It is my downfall too.
Steph, glad to hear counseling is going well.

w/o was ACS2 Combo Trilogy
b: kashi flakes
s: peanuts
l: kashi chicken florentine, homemade fries
s: orange
d: out to seafood restaurant. Will try to keep it clean

Off to finish cleanmax!

Colleen

Lunch was out to eat - had tortilla soup and a salad. Just did MM UB & abs. EAting my larabar/drinking water. Boy, do I love to not have to WO at night! Makes my day!

Now I just have to resist the leftover brownies.... I gave away most of them to our parents! haahahah!!!

Katie, I hope packing Mom is going well!

Robin, I really like the 4DS weights. I'm thinking about doing that rotation again after I finish Shirls. I love those pace weights too. They're addicting to add on a pound or tow here & there.

Steph, Sounds like things are going well. Enjoy shopping w/ DH!

Colleen, Another busy weekend for you! Hope dinner out is nice tonight. I really wish I liked seafood but I just can't eat it unless its fried and I can't eat it fried/takes away any health benefit.

Guess WHAT!?
DH & I are going away ALONE on Friday. I got a room at a really nice condo/hotel place in traverse city. We're overlooking the bay and there's a fireplace in our room. I'm so excited! Mike's folks are going to watch the girls and DDs are excited too. We have NEVER gone away like this before. The girls think that they're practicing for when we're at the hospital...cute. We'll be gone for 2 nights!!!

Have a great afternoon!

Hey Ladies!

1 - I put the leftover brownies in the freezer! Victory!

2 - I can get a Bosu at Kohls for $70. Should I do it?
Thinking of using it in place of a step sometimes. A lot of people here like it, but I'm not sure if it would be wierd to get used to w/ getting a belly soon.....

Hi Kate,

What size Bosu is it? If it is the standard size; $70 is a great deal. I love my Bosu and use it almost daily. I've had my Bosu for about 3 or 4 years and would like to get another one. I don't think you'd get much use out of it in the latter part of your pregnancy but post pregnancy - definitely! There are so many different ways to enhance your workouts with a Bosu. I rarely if ever do a workout as produced. I use one of my balance tools or other gadgets and have fun. I used my Bosu Friday for the step-boxing workout and yesterday for my upper body workout. I typically don't post what gadgets I use b/c I think people would get bored with listening to all the substitutions. LOL

Great job with the brownies. I ate the cleanest when I was pregnant. Although, I would have an occasional treat. I didn't want to give my growing babies too much garbage. Maybe, I should pretend I'm pregnant.;)

DD is calling me, it's time to play another game. Oh, my kids love the Bosu too. They stand on it with the dome side down w/o a problem. We do some fun drills. My boys can also kneel on a stability ball. They make it look so easy. It's not fair!

Hey, I'm back! And exhausted! We threw away FORTY giant garbage bags full of trash!!

Eating was not too terrible, and I am sure I moved enough to break even. Weight might go up a bit from salt intake/water retention, but I will NOT sweat it!

OMG - Have you checked the BLOG!!!! I don't know if I'm going to be able to resist STS much longer!!! I do have a birthday coming up - :):)

I've been dropping several hints to DH about STS. I told my kids about STS and showed them the blog so they could drop some hints too. LOL
