Yay, the mailman just delivered the Pyramids!! I think in February I am going to do a rotation using my two new strength training series -- Pyramids and S&H. Once I am more well accquainted with them, I will move to Fitness Freak's rotation that she recommeded to me. Here is what I am thinking...

Morning clean eating, dirty talking peeps!!

Quick check in, DH's band is playing tonight, have to get groceries, clean max, shower max, the usual!
Workout: done! GS total body, and the original BC cardio/core.

Kate!! awesome, you resisted the chocolate party!! That's freaking nuts!

I'll be back after grocery shopping, i miss you all if i dont check in while the tubs running!!

First Cathe: VHS, IMAX 2! What a way to start huh?

Katie, You're making the chili sound great. I want to make some too. I make a double batch and serve individual portions. I do this for my soup too. Makes for quick, healthy lunches during the week.

Your rotation looks good to me. I've been doing the circuits for 2 weeks now and I think I want to do some heavier lifting again. There are so many awesome rotations - I have a hard time sticking with one. I wonder if I should finish the ciscuit or just move on to heavier lifting.?

Steph, What kind of music does DH play? What does he play? You did an awesome workout! I love to go grocery shopping. I'd like to this afternoon - we'll see. i want to go clothes shopping too!! That's not likely to happen though. Started Cathe w/ Imax2!? Wow! I woulda died for sure!:)

My day has been super clean and I'm feeling great. I had a big salad w/ roamine, cuke, and carrots (no dressing, not even salsa if you can believe it!). I warmed up the leftover lasagna wraps from last night. I did not eat the noodles. And some corn. I feel satisfied w/out being overly full. It's hard for me to stop there sometimes - even on healthy food. But I'm doing great lately. Drinking lots of water too, as usual.

Hope you all are having a great Saturday. I need to go get DDs down for a nap. Maybe I can do CS while they are sleeping..... (crosses fingers..)
 
Waving Hello to Everyone!

Class was so FUN this morning - more people came. I couldn't believe it, 12y/o DS always does the class with me and he was more excited than me. His energy was through the roof, I just wanted to stop and hug him! Having him with me makes me so happy. :):):)
I'm getting alot of postive feedback which is great.

Eating has been spot on today. Thank God!

Katie, Either way the rotations look good! Have you been taking any progress pictures?

Kate, I just poked the feet in the cake and wiggled it in. No problems. Stretching is addicting - it makes you feel so good. You can move on to a heavier weight rotation.

Steph, So cool that DH is in a band. What kind of music?

Shirl, Glad class was fun. That's great DS joins you. BIG ^5 on the eating! Feels good to eat good, doesn't it? When the new bowl comes I'm going to do a practice cake. I don't want it to come down to the night before and get frustrated. Thanks for the confirmation on heavier weights. What are you all up to this afternoon? Don't you love weekends?

DDs are asleep. Not sure what I want to do. Maybe absolutely nothing (gasps in horror!:+ )!

Feeling like I need something sweet. Maybe DH will share a pear w/ me. NO SUGAR!
 
Good idea to make a practice cake. A few tips: make sure the cake is completely cooled before putting Barbie in; making a hole might be easier then just sticking Barbie in and cover Barbie's torso, face and hair before frosting.

We were going to go sledding but the weather's not cooperating. We're getting freezing rain. We are going to make ground hog's day cupcakes shortly. Chocolate cupcake (earth), white frosting(snow) and a ground hog (nutter butter) on top. We have to decide which choco. cake recipe and vanilla frosting they want to make. I will not eat one! :)

Too cute, Shirl! Those cupcakes are great! Good luck resisting! I just made Apple Dapple cake for potluck tomorrow. I sampled the batter, but not too much. It's a new recipe and it was delicious! It calls for walnuts but DH won't eat them so I had to leave them out. It smells wonderfullllll!!! Good thing it's a whole cake - I can't eat any this way! (til tomorrow anyway!;) ).
 
Hi Everyone,

Well I just finished me errands and I have to leave in 1.5 hours for the party so no time to work today. Maybe tomorrow. I am just going to relax and read before the party.

Great news - I was trying on bras today and I could see my pec muscles. I guess I need to spend more time in front of the mirror in my bra :)

Robin, I think I am going to Long Island next weekend. DH's grandmother fell and hurt her arm. We were supposed to go and celebrate her 90th birthday but that has been postponed now. I think we are still going to visit her.
Kate, the Apple Dapple cake sounds yummy! Good idea making a cake so you won't be tempted to snack :)
Katie, glad your S&H shipped! The Stretch DVD's look good.
Shirl, it is so great that DS goes to your classes. Glad you are getting new people week after week.

Shirl, NO I have not taken any progress pictures but I will, thanks for the reminder! I am getting ready to buckle down for 16 weeks of heavy lifting, so it will be cool to see how my UB changes in those 16 weeks.

Kate, you are the one who made me order the Pyramids, you better get your ass on over to my rotation and get busy!;-)

I FORGOT TO ANSWER THE QUESTION OF THE DAY! My first Cathe was Basic Step. After I mastered the beginner ones (Basic Step/Body Fusion/Low Impact Step), the first *real* Cathe I ordered was Body Max 2 -- wooohooooo!!
 
Wow katie you went from Basic step to BM2..that's a big jump.Great rotation you have planned.

Kate perhapes you should rotate your rotation every 2 weeks (circuits then heavy). Do what ever keeps you motivated. I know what keeps me motivated, buying new DVDs

Shirl my daughter exercises she even tries to do pushups. I guess we are doing something right. Ground hog cupcakes sound so good.
Steph does your DH plays jazz or rock?
 
I'm bad!! Damn malt balls!! Then the taste testers at the grocery store had double chocolate oatmeal cookies..i had only a bite, but still. Next weeks cheat i'm gonna plan, enough of eating a bag of malt balls!! I'm baking high protein carrot muffins!!

Kate, DH is in a rock/kinda band..hard to describe it really. Very 80s sounding. He plays everything, but is best at piano and guitar, and he's the singer. i need to stay away from boozemax! i wont fit into anything after carb overload.

Shirl, class does sound fun

Everyone is on par today, why am i bad! Send me good vibes. I almost makes excuses cause i'm only bad one day a week, every week, but its the difference in my seeing major results. Maybe i'm sabotaging myself. I think Shirl, Colleen, we talked about this before didnt we?

If your bi and tri are sore on Friday will you be able to pick up a barbell over your head and place it on your shoulders? This was the problem I had when I did the gym style series. I was able to do it but it hurt.

Did the UPS man bring you S&h yet?

Hey Steph I'm eating cheesie bread right now if that makes you feel better.:( You think that you are sabotaging yourself? Or are you eating your emotions? What works for me is when I feel angry, I allow it and then I listen to music. Inspirational or any kind of music will change your mood quickly.Anyway a bag of malt balls will not make you gain weight.

Robin, I'll give your rotation some thought. Sounds good! I could mix the circuit rotation with a heavier weights every 2 weeks. Good idea. Does this sound good to you, Shirl?

Steph, My PM snack was NOT on par either! I was inverting my apple cake and it was so moist and delicious it all fell apart. So we all had a slice and mine was not on the small side. It was so GOOD. MMM!

I'm totally not hungry now since the malt balls. I baked high pro super clean carrot muffins, and had one with low fat yogurt, now i'm having diarrheamax! Kate! This might be the answer for you! My cooking will clean you out for sure its so bad :)

Steph, I feel your pain (with the fullness, that is.. Haven't had diarrhea in I can't remember how long!). I had 2/3 of an apple and a little bit of pb for dinner. I don't want anything else to eat - too full of apple dapple. Yuck. Any chance you can share you muffin recipe? I'm terrible at taking the time to post recipes, so I'll more than understand if you don't get around to it.

I just finished Cl.Str. Atheletes Instense Stretch. Gina did the whole thing with me (45 min). She's awesome. Feeling good and "loose"!:)
 
Chris and I had dinner -- chili -- then went and walked around the mall for a few hours. I got two new shirts (size small!) and 2 new pairs of pants (size 6!). I love buying new, SMALLER clothes!:D

I might even be in a good enough mood for sex max tonight... }( }( }(

Katie is size 6, you go girl!:) I wonder what size I am now? I got a good look the the mirror on Friday and my cloths looked baggie. When I was big and fat I wore a size 16!! But that was 24 pounds ago.

I wish that I could rest today, but I have too much to do. I have to figure out how to get things done after work on the weekdays, this way I can rest on Sunday.
