Kate, I hope you have a wonderful birthday today!! I am up and at it again early this morning, getting ready to do 4DS Kickbox and as much of the weights as I can get thru before Collin wakes up.

This afternoon, I will take a looooong nap -- can't wait! Tonight DF and I are going to get mexican food, but while it is a cheat, I think I will do okay with it.
 
Morning peeps. Katie it is a good idea to have sat and sun posting together. It worked well last week. I can't wait to see Cathe Nov rotation. Enjoy kickbox...I love it but wanted it to be longer. I wanted to try the kickbox/bootcamp cardio premix.

Robin, When is your fast starting? (sounds like my pastor has been reading the eat clean diet book.) Too funny! :) Have a good time at the party. Maybe you should eat something before you go.

Katie, Enjoy 4DS KB . I agree with Robin; I wish it were longer too. Here's a tip I recently read (again) - only eat half of the portion you receive at a restaurant. Have fun tonight!

My DD's soccer game has been cancelled this morning. I'm going to do 4DS BC cardio only this morning. I teach class this afternoon. We have a Halloween party later this afternoon. The kids are looking forward to it.

Oh, just wanted to say that I love the yummy organic, not filled with junk protein bars I have found. I love larabars and suncake protein bars. They are very satisfying.

Shirl, you food choices sound excellent!

Robin, what is in your smoothie? I have then thinking of going back to a fruit smoothie in the morning with a scoop of protein powder since I am making so many gains with my lifting.

Kate, I am dying to heard how your date night with DH went last night!

Usually when I get mexican food, I order one cheese enchilada and rice and beans. I eat only half of the rice and beans, and have the rest for a snack the next day.

Kickbox was super fun this morning, I too wish it was longer, but I doubt if I could do it twice in a row! If I had a mutliple dvd disc changer (or the workout blender software!), I would do KickMax combos, then 4DS kickbox and I think that would be kick-a$$!

Sorry I haven't been around the last couple of days. I am working on a critical project and my days have been long.

Katie - I wish all of the workouts in the 4DS were longer. They just go by too quickly.
Robin - I wish I could fast now but my November is going to be very busy (Mom's b-day, thanksgiving, sister's baby shower, friend's baby shower). I just hope I get through without gaining any weight.

Shirl - where do you get your organic protein bars?

Aw, shucks! Thanks guys! All of the birthday wishes are so nice!

Date night last night was nice. We did a little early Christams shopping for the girls then we went to Bravo! (Italian) for dinner. There was NOTHING clean on the menu, so I improvised. They had a salad w/ chicken, but it was breaded so I asked if I could get grilled and they swapped it no problem. I told them to leave off the bacon and the dressing that came on it. I had a couple of bites of DH bolognese (I haven't had it in a year!). I did awesome!!!!! Just as we were paying the bill my sis called and said Isabel threw up 3x!!!! So we came right home. I was up all night with her having terrible diarrhea. Poor baby! She's doing a little better today, but no appetite.

b - banana, 9-grain bread toasted (dry, no butter!)
s - didn't happen - b. was very late
l - kashi w/ 1/2% milk, apple
s - very small serving of cookie dough ice cream (it is my b'day after all! And sure as it's raining today, DH won't make me a cake!)
not sure on the rest of the day, but it will be clean.
workout - not sure either. Maybe Imax2.


KATIE - Is your mom watching Collin tonight for you? Have fun on your date! I like the ##### by the way!

ROBIN - That premix would be killer....maybe I'll do that one! Good luck at the party. Before you even take a bite of cake, convince yourself that it would be dry and nasty. I sometimes find it's easier to have none than even a little, especially with new desserts. Hey, I have a hard enough time with the food I KNOW I like!

SHIRL- Good menu and good luck at your party too! What are you teaching today? 2 workouts today - lucky lady!

COLLEEN - How ya been!? I love the workout you did today! Maybe I'll do that one.....

Well, I'm off to do CleanMax. I just hired a cleaning service to come on Monday. But there is so much STUFF (DH's and DDs) that needs to be picked up too. I'm trying to secretly throw out stuff when they aren't looking. DH keeps saying we need a bigger house...I say we need less stuff. We have 3000 sq. ft. for goodness sake! He grew up very priviledged, we were dirt poor - we constantly have opposite opinions on what is needful. he is such a packrat...but I love him! He did get me some nice birthday presents and some ????? ones!

Ahhh, I remember 28, my oldest DS was a newborn. I'm 39, I'll be 40 in May. I'm looking forward to being in the best shape of my life! (that's my plan)
I'm sorry your DD is sick. It sounds like you did very well going out to dinner. I just had some light mint chocolate chip ice cream.... of course b/c it's your birthday. ;) I taught Turbo Kick earlier this afternoon - so FUN. We had a BLAST. I better get ready for the party. I love that workout too! Enjoy! It sounds like you have a lot going on in November. I'm sure you'll do fine! I guess you could say we have a mantra at the clean and tidy check in:

Well, my calories are definetly low today. I was eating dinner w/ Isabel in my lap, feeding her small bites, as she still isn't feeling well. ....And.....she puked al over us. Appetizing, no? So we stripped in the dining room and went off to take a shower. Poor thing...this is Day 6 of her sickness. Just when you think it's over ...WHAM..it's back again.

Katie Baby :+ - How was your Mexican tonight?

Funny thing - My mom is kinda perverted sometimes and DH is VERY conservative. She called to wish me a Happy B'day and he answered the phone. She asked him "So, Mike, have you spanked Kate yet?" He was speechless and just handed me the phone! ROFLMAO! He said later "I didn't know what to say!"

Our house is never dull, that's for sure.

I'm off to do cardio & weights - a good classic fat-burner. See ya!

WOO HOO! I sweat so much! It was awesome!

Women's Health just had a great section about water & sweat. Apparently being an "easy sweater" is a good thing. Never knew that.

I am so anxious to see what I weigh Monday morning. I *think* I've done pretty good this week. I feel great and DH says my belly looks noticeably flatter. (You think he's just tryin' to get lucky?!)

Kate - I am sorry about Isabel. Hope she gets better soon. BTW I am 35. I was in Las Vegas about 1 1/2 years ago and they carded me because I didn't look old enough to gamble.
Katie - how was Mexican last night?

Colleen - Good for you on getting carded! I've never bought alcohol, cigarettes, or gambled so I've never been asked for my id. I wonder if I would get carded....

Isabel made it thru the night and this a.m. w/o spewing anything...but she's sttill really punky. Looks like a trip to the dr's tomorrow. This is 7 days of this stuff!! At least no one else has gotten it.

LADIES...CATHE TRIED TO KILL ME THIS MORNING

I did the 4Day premix "total body weights" and I thought :+ it was a little bit of this and that. HECK it was all of weight training, chest, back, shoulders, calves, biceps, triceps, legs...the only thing left out was core. It took me 2 hour to finished.I feel like going back to bed.

Shirl my church fast starts on Mon Oct29 to Nov 21 then we can pig out on Thanksgiving LOL. Yesterday I had a banana and frozen strawberry yogurt smoothie :9 which I needed some protein because my girl scouts had a lot of energy yesterday.

Katie I agree 4-day split kickbox and kickmax will be GREAT. I may try that this thursday.

Hey Colleen and Trixie what's planned for today?

I hope Isabel feel better. Yesterday I did not eat the cake but I did eat the choc. princess lollipop :9 I think it was homemade.

Kate I'm 40....no 41....ok I'm 42.
