====== clean & tidy WEDNESDAY ======

i did cardio in my own house for the first time since haloween!!! i got my neighbor's elliptical last night and got a great deal. lets hope dh is not upset by the size of it. he knew i was getting one, and honnestly, it was cheaper with installation than the lowest grade model i could tolerate. but it is big... so i had an hour of cardio and feel great. at nap time i will do gym style c and t. tomorrow i go back to work:( i went to the dr yesterday and he is thrilled with my progress. i am now in a hard soled cast shoe (exceptiopnally ugly). i wear the boot to exercise just to be safe. recheck in 2 weeks with hopes of graduating to regular shoes (and hopefully impact???). my only concern is i am seeing a sports medicine dr, not an orthopedist. i wonder if i should have a second opinion?

katie, some wednesday's need to be slept thru. hope you are feeling better, though.

eats will be clean today - i am making more ratatouille to have leftovers for work, and i have leftover chicken from last night.

question for you all - finn's school has a holiday party tomorrow night and i have to bring a main dish. any thoughts on something kid friendly, easy, and inexpensive? i know i am quite last minute. today will be a home day for me with both kids. i "almost" am back to my old self!

My kettlebell is coming today, maybe my boys will give me some time to practice tonight!

Morning!

Easy day at home today-might go to the gorcery store, but that's it. I'm going to do yesterday's run and abs today. Might even try to run outside-if the weather and DH cooperate.

Katie, have fun with your new toy! I can't wait to go to that KB seminar. I saw some pictures of some women who trained exclusively with KB and WOW is all I can say!

Morris, yay for the new equipment and the dr. appt:) Enjoy your day with the boys. As for food, what about baked spaghetti? Or do what Kate said-pasta and sauce. All kids love pasta!

Kate, way to go on shoulders! FF's rotation looks tough! Have you tried the Nutrigrain cinnamon waffles? They're awesome!

Robin, I wish I could get into those 1rm tests. I'm going to wing them too, I think.

I would love to come watch Julia:) I can't wait for the KB seminar either! Darrin's not home, but I'm hoping he comes home early-his boss said they can go on their winter schedule now-8-4:30. If not, it's the treadmill. The 5k is a week from Sunday and I need to get in some outside running-and buy myself some cold weather gear. Keeping fit isn't cheap!
 
klaudia, i keep putting off buying SHOES to wo in!:eek: ive done it barefoot, well, always. i know i should wear shoes, but
1 - i dont want to spend the $$
2 - i dont want to take the time to put them on

crazy, i know.....

that winter schedule sounds great! i would love to have mike home in the am!!

Well, Chris and I are fighting about x-mas and money. The economy is starting to affect his paycheck, I should be thankful that it didn't start long ago I guess. He feels the need to spend the same, even though we are making less. I don't get it...:mad:

klaudia, enjoy a run outside. today is so beautiful here, i am sorry to not be running.

well, the boys and i got out for hours this am. aidan loves his ergo carrier, and finn ran around like crazy. they are settled in for a nap, and i will hit the weights, after laundry, vacuming, making lunches for week, and bills. i am tired already. we will then make rice and beans with zesty sauce - i already went to the store. should have thought of mac and cheese:( oh well. menu clean so far.

Klaudia, how did you find out about the KB seminar? Glute Camp is a Tracey Staehle lb workout using the BOSU.

Lunch was chicken tortilla soup, apple and salad. My clementime was bad so I had to settle for an apple instead. Dinner is still up in the air. It depends on how tired Chris is when he gets home. He has too much to cram into his day.

morris, hope you havefun tonight! busy day for you today! ive had mt eye on an ergo! i have a moby, which is great but the ergos look wonderful too!

iPhone check in. Dinner is cooking-- broc casserole and hamburger steak. Very good eating day for me. And I am dressed and ready for my workout after dinner!
