Yesterday I was laughing about being banned from the kitchen because of one being accident prone from a post on this check in. I laughed all the way into the kitchen to get my Sigg bottle of water in the fridge, and out popped a glass bottle of beer that my DH shoved in there. It hit the floor and shattered and my kitchen smells like an old bar and I have 5 cuts, but none needed stitches, on my foot and leg.x(

Today is MIS and 400 lunges

B-vanilla yogurt and Ezekiel toast(I got mine at HEB here in Texas, I am sure they have it at a Whole Foods)
L-salad
D-shrimp feta and quinoa with artichoke hearts

What is Kalvi? I noticed it yesterday, and keep forgeting to ask. Have a great day!

Today I had my Kashi cereal and the usual tea.
Lunch will be a big field greens salad with shredded carrots, grapes, and one of those vegan microwave dinners with black eyed peas and broccoli (the sodium was surprisingly low)
Tonight is TBD

While I am at work I can be fairly disciplined but when evening comes I fall apart. I had two small pieces of pizza and three chicken wings. I guess I should be impressed I didn't eat more The sad thing is I wasn't wowed by any of it. <sigh>

BTW, while on the RT I will be feeding my face and then some ;-)
 
Ok thanks for that information. Is Ezkiel bread made with human feces, I read that somewhere online.

Ok. I was pretty good yesterday other than that bowl of Honey nut cheerios last night.

Today

B- protein pancakes, except I didnt make pancakes I mixed the stuff up and threw it in waffle iron (much easier). My family was watching me make them and they were like that is going to be so digusting. Well they were wrong they loved it.

Lunch Subway veggie sandwhich with my hormel natural lunch meat

Dinner. baked chicken breast, carrots and some green vegetable. no carbs other than what is in carrots.

Snacks I have none planned, need help in that department.

(I forgot to add how does this sound as a snack some cottage cheeseand Del Monte Carb Clever Sliced Peaches? is that Clean? Or should I use frozen peaches? the ratio works out to 29.4% fat, 39.2% protein and 31.4% carbs

I hope you ladies have fun on the road trip :D
 
Hello Clean and tidy peeps!!

I just confirmed my flight, off to the Roadtrip Friday morning!!! I wish i was smart enough to arrive Thursday night, especially since i've never really travelled to the US before. I really wanted to go to Target!!

Today: usual breakfast and snack
lunch, soup, raw veggies and hummus

workout tonight, DM, cardio, and B+G

Beavs!! Cant wait to meet ya, and eat my face off too!! When are you arriving and which hotel did you choose?

Good news, my husband and I broke our kitchen curse and we were able to successfully prepare dinner without any incidents.

Mikkia - sorry to hear about your mishap. I am glad you are okay.
Robin - the kavli crackers look good. I will have to try to find them.

Here's my plan for the day:
w/o - B&G Standing glutes & abs premix

b - shredded wheat w/ skim milk and almonds
l - leftover chop suey
s - banana, mixed veggies
d - TBD

Mariah: don't believe what crackpots write online. The article in question was written by someone who has issues with christians (perhaps of the right wing variety) and assumes all those who consume it are of the same religious variety. I don't even know who Ezekiel is and could care less but the bread tastes good and is good for you and that no b.s....or shall I say h.s. :7 :7

Steph: I'll be arriving sometime Friday early afternoon and will be kickin' it at the Fairfield. I'll be running around trying to find Steph from Toronto mainly because I plan on sneaking into your trunk and making the ride back to steamy but ever fun Toronto or as some say Toron-TOE. LOL!!!!!

I agree about the ezekial, its spouted grain bread, flourless, tastes great and has an amazng amino acid profile. I buy it fresh from a local bakery actually, not frozen. Can never eat real bread again!!

Good afternoon! Didn't have time to post this A.M. but I'm doing so good!

b - Kashi, banana, and DDs apple skins
s - granola bar
I didn't eat any of DDs popcorn at Target!!!!!
l - eggs w/ red pepper, mushroom. w/ a slice of 9-grain bread
s - ??
d - grilled chicken on romaine w/ other veggies & watermelon

Tonight i have a board mtg at DDs preschool. I am so hoping that they don't have any sweets there!!! Planning on a good circuit workout tonight. Right now I have a wicked headache so hopefully I can get in to the chiro this afternoon or w/o will not be happenin'.

Mikkia - how's yer keester feeling after all those lunges?

Beavs - I share your sadness at indulging in unclean foods that really don't taste that remarkable. You sit there saying "this doesn't even taste good! Why am I eating it???!!!" My sis and I have been known to spit out food in the garbage and take the rest of it and spray 409 on it! But only w/ no one else around! I think that would really freak some people out! DH knows I will "ruin" food in the garbage - he knows I have no will power.

Roadtrippers - have fun! I'm jealous!

Hi there peeps! I am so bummed right now! While I didn't make the RT I was still planning on driving down to take the Fri am class and possibly meet up with some of the RTers who were arriving early. Well, that plan is out now ;( ;(. I have to show a couple of greenies (inexperienced horses) at their first horse show and will need to work Friday to prep. I feel like crying right now. I was so looking forward to possibly meeting Beavs, Steph, Phyllis, et al. I hope you guys have a great time and I can only hope to catch up with you at a later time...perhaps the next RT?

On the positive side I've been able to squeeze in some workouts. I just finished the Guantlet for the first time...so much FUN! I tried to stay as tidy as possible today, even though we went to lunch to celebrate my boss's bday. I, did, however indulge in 2 bites each of berry crisp and cheesecake :9, but that was it.

B - spinach and mushroom egg white omelette
S - steel cut oats with cherries
L - wrap with field greens, portabello, roasted red pepper, hummus, pesto and fresh mozzarella, and a tomato salad
D - asian turkey burgers, steamed broccoli and carrots, roasted brussel sprouts
Will be skipping dessert tonight!

Robin J. - I'm so, so rude! I forgot to say congrats on the losses the other day. I'm a bad, bad person *hangs head in shame*

Happy afternoon (almost evening!) everyone. Here's what I had -

B - Steelcut oats & blueberries. I admit I have an oat problem, I'm pretty sure I could eat them for every meal for weeks on end and still not get bored with them.
L - Soynut butter on whole wheat, fresh broccoli and carrots, grapes
D - Homemade pizza w/ fresh tomatoes, basil & mushrooms, fruit smoothie
S - Same as yesterday if I get hungry

Robin - I really like the coconut juice. It's almost like very mild sugar water that's coconut-tinged, the one I got also has little bits of coconut in it, which reminds me of bubble tea.

Workout will be step cardio + triceps.
