I ate cheese tortorlini and spegetti sauce and :9 :9 good, taste like it is unclean.

My day was stressful so it is a good thing I worked out this morning, or I would have killed some of those patients;) . I guess because I work with 95% men, I feel like I work with kids.

Kate you know the rules, birthday cake don't count.:D

YAY!!! I just ordered Bar Method, GS Legs, and AMy Bentos Adv. Step Challenge!! My first non-cathe cardio purchase in years!

Steph, I could only find the Bar method w/ Designer sculpting on Collage. The FF is at amazon and I'll go order Cl. Str. too! brb!!!

Robin, sorry your day was the craps! I hear ya about men, but you know, working with all women isnt so fun either!

Kate, i bought my Bar i think at amazon. It was a box set! Strange. I hope you like them, they are very different, deep tissue stretch. It took me a month to figure out how classical stretch should feel, i hated it the first time, but i got it! now i love it!
No worries about the lemon pie, you didnt have cheeseburgers!!

Steph, Amazon listed the 2-pack but it was out of stock and it said they didn't know if it would stock again. No worries! I just ordered FF on its own. Also the 2-pack of Classical Stretch that you recommended. Also....a Geronimo Stilton audiobook for the kids, and a kids CD for the truck. Oh, and a kids workout DVD. CHA-CHING!!! again..shhhhhhh Actually, Mike could care less what I spend. He knows I keep way better track of that stuff than he does!

Need to go be w/ the fam - see ya in a bit!

Just got home from work and clean maxed the kitchen. Didn't get out early as I hoped. There are always issues late in the day. Oh well!

Kate, let us know when you get your new workouts! Sorry about the pie but you had a healthy dinner. I haven't started that yet. I should start soon so we don't eat at 9:00.
Katie, I use the Accumeasure Fitness 2000 Body Fat Caliper to measure my body fat. I have a scale but it fluctuates a lot. I have even weighted myself 2 times in a row and the body fat is different.
Steph, will need to check out bar method. I have heard about but never checked it out.

Off to make dinner.

Hi Steph,

I'm interested in Bar Method too - what do you like best about it? What type of results have you had from it? Have you ever tried Squeeze? Do you know if the Bar Method is similar to Squeeze. I have Squeeze; I made up my own lower body premix. I plan on doing it Thursday. I've only done the upper body work once; I like it for the lower body work.

Shirl, i have squeeze, and i like it too, but i find Bar more concentrated. Burr Leonard, who created Bar worked with the Callenetics founder. I was a dance for 10 years, and its very controled, ballet like. So i think i just like it for that. It also very deep stretch, which i love too!
Kate, now i want new workouts too, but this crazy trainer i hired is going to land me in the poorhouse!

Thanks for the info the Bar Method sounds like what I'm looking for. Do you think it's a good workout for people who are currently taking dance? Tell us more about your trainer? I love to get new ideas.

Shirl - I got ASC I. From all the reviews of II I'm scared to start w/ that! Maybe next month!}( :7 I'll check out that website - thanks! I think you were the one who mentioned about putting salsa on egg whites. Oh my word!!! What have I been missing all these years?! I detest bland food so when I make my eggs I usually have to pour the salt on. Trying to cut back on that so I tried the salsa. Well, just like my salads, there probably ended up being more salsa than egg whites. It was delicious! I can't wait for breakfast so I can have it again. I think I need some stock in Tostitos. (They make the best commercial salsa, althoug I love my homemade version and the market's - they all have different things I use them for. Yes, I'm quite addicted.)

Salsa does 3 awesome things for me
1 - It eliminates salt
2 - Extra nutrients!
3 - I've read, and correct me if I'm wrong, that the heat from the peppers (if you eat hot) gives you a temporary boost on metabolism

So, a BIG thanks to you, Shirl!

I did GS back and biceps only. DH wants to do some paperwork and I want to get to bed. So I'll add the shoulders on tomorrow maybe (supposed to be my rest day or Thursday after Rhy.Step. (can't wait for Thursday!)

I'm glad I could help. I love salsa too! I like Tostitos brand and Newman's Own. I make a mean salsa too. I had scrambled egg whites and salsa for my morning snack today. Sometimes I have cottage cheese on the side and it is so yummy. I know what I'm having for breakfast! I've heard that about the metabolism boost, maybe Steph could help us out with this one.

Amy has a preview section which I recommend you preview. It takes a little effort to get use to another instructor's teaching style but it's definitely worth it.

Do you live in Michigan? My DH is considering transferring to Michigan. I can't remember where exactly but he mentioned it's about 30-45 minutes from Chicago. I'd like him to transfer someplace warm.

Yes, I'm in Michigan. We're about 10 minutes from Lansing. We like it here, but we've recently discovered that Wyoming has no income tax! We're doing some large projects there and are tempted to move! Not really, but it would be so nice for business! MI sure is not warm, except for this week actually. 60 and light jackets!
