Gooooooood Morning Ladies. What's the plans for today?
I'm going to read yesterday's notes and I'll BRB.
 
Steph hang in there...I think that you should do some pilates or upper body light weight training but check with your doctor first.

Katie that dress looks very pretty and it will go well with a small wedding on the beach. The wedding pictures are going to be so nice...especially the sunset pictures on the beach.

I skipped my w/o this morning :-( but I plan to do a kickboxing w/o after work.

b- kashi and banana
s- yogurt and nuts
l-turkey sandwich
d- stew-chicken wings and brown rice

Today's w/o was Drill Max Cardio/Leg Blast. I was planning to do some lower body work, but I felt energetic this morning (woke up early too -- 4:40 am....who knows!), so I decided to throw some cardio in there too!

Eating today is going to look something like this...

B cereal
S half sandwich
L lean chicken or turkey and banana
S wheat crackers w/low fat cheese
D chicken pasta and lots of broccoli

I have not done any ab work in a LOOOONG time, so I'm gonna try to throw that in tonight. Maybe some extra stretching too, since I did lower body.

Katie, i LOVE the dress you posted! Its so pretty. Elegant as well. And good workout, i love that premix.

Robin, nice menu too! What kickboxing are you going to do, i miss kickboxing the most!

Well, last night i did Bar method and some pilates based upper body with 5 pound weights only. My back held up! I am almost hoping to do some heavier stuff on the weekend. I have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow, so i'll make sure i ask him.
My eating was great, and i could sit around after dinner, we had an election here in Ontario, so i headed over to the polls!!

Menu!
B: you know, oatmeal!!
s: pear
l: vegan 'chicken' soup, veggies/hummus, apple
s: you know! ryveta and almond butter
d: steamed veggies, i'm going to do purple cauliflower, asparagus, broccoli and mushrooms, lentils. tomato puree with roasted garlic!
s: yogurt

I'm going to attempt another light workout tonight, pilates or yoga.

Good Morning Ladies!

We've been a busy group lately. I'm eating my post workout meal of steel cut oats, sk. milk and a banana. I had my protein drink before my workout this morning. I rode the bike at the gym for 45 minutes; came home and did Eion Finn's Power Yoga for Happiness 'Quickie' premix. It felt great.

Katie, I love the dress you are considering; it's beautiful and I'm sure you'll look beautiful. There's something magical about trying on wedding dresses, IMHO. The beach house is fantastic! Great job with your workout. I've never tried that premix. I'll have to check it out.

Robin, Your menu looks good. Can't wait to hear what kickbox workout you did. I love kickbox!

Steph, I'm so happy that you were able to workout and felt ok! That's a great feeling. Congratulations for eating well.

Well, I had a serving or maybe 2 of Edy's light triple talent ice cream last night. I did well the rest of the day though.

Your s truly builds a little cheat into everyday. }( :9
I will be partaking in some seafood gumbo for lunch. After a really rough week I decided to splurge and have a scoop of cotton candy ice cream with a scoop of cake batter ice cream (weird, I know). It was heavenly but of course I am now stuck with two half gallons in the freezer. Fortunately my freezer does not get as cold as I would like and I discovered that the ice cream is quite disappointing at a warmer temp. Needless to say I am delighted! I'll leave it for my nephew, who less discerning palette will enjoy ;-)
 
Mid-day, and the sleepiness is setting in. I need some water!

Food plan for the day has changed somewhat...

S peanut butter crackers

S not sure
D cheese ravioli w/tomato basil sauce and broccoli
 
Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been away the last couple of days. Work was really crazy and now I am exhausted. Just when I start to catch up, a crisis comes up and I fall further behind.

Katie - I live about 2 hours north of you in MD. Your wedding sounds wonderful and I think the dress is beautiful.
Robin - I have never tried Mindy, maybe I will try her after I get tired of all the new workouts coming in the next couple of weeks (Cathe, Tracey & Amy)
Steph - I know you are dying to workout, but please make sure you check with your doctor. You don't want to wait even longer to start working out.

Due to my crazy schedule my meals have been clean but my snacks have mainly been chocolate. I need to stay away from the candy bowl at work.
