Katie, Glad Frank is going along with things. Much easier for you. What kind of cake are you having?!?!?! My fave is chocolate cake w/ chocolate frosting. And a scoop (or two) of chocolate ice cream on top!

My toast was burnt (oops) at lunch so I had some peanuts and raisins along with my lunch. I am FULL! Going to go read to the girls, maybe we can all catch a nap so we can stay up late playing hide-and-seek in the dark!

I'm hoping Mike will do 4DS BC cardio w/ me tonight.... He's more likely to work out with me if he knows he's been misbehavin'. Then I could do some of Amy Bento after that to get my 45 min. cardio in.
 
Katie I just called him and he said that he almost forgot about your b-day.

Colleen I love the original Bootcamp because it is longer and harder., but I've never did the 4-day premix with bootcamp and kickboxing.

My lunch was simi-clean. I had shimp and veggie with brown rice.

Ahhhh...I got a powernap! DDs are still asleep so I'm going to get some paperwork done. Gina's getting a snotty nose...nooooooo! We've all been so healthy! The nap will help her fight it.

Robin, Was there a lot of sugary sauce or something? If its any consolation I just picked up pizza for the fam. Not sure what I'm having yet. Probably egg whites and veggies again. I wanted a salad but I kind of just want a warm bowl of something. It's freezing here!

I had a great big salad for dinner w/ romaine, corn, red and green peppers and carrots. Very colorful! And salsa of course. And a very small slice of pizza. No guilt. I stopped and didn't gorge!

Mike said he would do 4DS BC with me tonight! YAY!

But first...hide and seek w/ DDS..see you later!!

THE CAKE HAS ARRIVED! Chris called the Farmer's Market in Dayton (a nearby community that is primarily Mennonite) and ordered my cake. Those Mennonite ladies really know their way around the kitchen! I didn't want some grocery store cake. I ate 2 bites, then put it away. I will eat a big slice for breakfast tomorrow after my workout, haha!

Shirl, I'm with you. I can eat my clean and tidy mini-meals til the cows come home. When I decide to cheat, I can probably eat 8 slices of pizza before I would feel uncomfortably full. It's bizarre...

Collin will be back in town by late tonight, but he is going to stay with his Daddy thru Sunday afternoon, then he is coming home. I will feel much better when I know he is back in town and not so far away.

Generally when a cheat is served I nibble at the countertops til the cows come home. I was just proud of myself that I didn't do that this time!

Kate, tomorrow is the last day of my four week Gym Styles rotation, so I want to weigh in and take measurements and such, so I was not cheating too much. Tomorrow I will cheat -- right after I take pride in all of my huge accomplishments this month, LOL!

PS I just got on the ground to see how many "big girl" push ups I could do, just for fun. TEN!! TEN!! The last time I tried, I did THREE! YAY ME!
 
Katie, 2 bites!!! When I get birthday cake I pig out. Last year my sister and I had 2 pieces of my birthday cake. It was good!
Shirl, the brownie sounds so good. I guess I will need to figure out how to incorporate stretching into my workouts. Maybe I could do it in the evening since I workout in the morning...
Steph, sorry you are so busy at work. Don't you wish you could go on vacation and come back to no work :)

Robin, I did not like the Slow & Heavy series when I bought so I returned it. To use weights heavy enough to be effective on my upper body it hurt my wrists. I tried multiple times (after resting my wrists) and still no luck. Maybe it will be better for you :) Also, starting next week I am going to try to cut back on my sodas. I am going to try iced tea instead.

Hi Sweet Kate, I didn't think you meant I gorged. I think I'm lacking in the I'm full indicator. My 'clean' meal portion sizes are on the large size too. How'd your workout go?

Colleen, Evening is a great time to stretch; it more than likely will help you to relax.
