Today is the last day for Girl Scouts. YAAAAAAAAAY not that I don't love my scouts is just I'm tired. I need my saturday mornings. We have our closing picnic with the theme of Old School Days. We will have jump ropes, ssack racing, freeze tag, jacks, bubbles, etc.
I'll bring the salad so I hope to keep it clean.;-)

Good morning clean & tidy ladies!!

Collin is sick -- woke up at 5:30 and came to my room, COVERED in vomit! He must have puked in his bed last night, but just went back to sleep (yes, in it!), poor baby! We changed clothes, brushed teeth, got the bedding in the wash, then got back in our bed for cartoons. My back is very sore, maybe from punching combos in 4DS KBX? Soreness, combined with Collin being sick, I think I am just going to let paint-MAX be my workout today.

Robin, glad your Saturdays will be free for awhile now! I will post more pictures when I can, and I am definitely going to take some pics of the new living room!

Robin, That house is gorgeous! I hope you figure out what to do - hard decision to relocate like that I'm sure. Have fun with your scouts today - ^5 on the salad.

Katie, So sorry about Collin. Hope he gets feeling better. I'm sure this alters your plans for the weekend a little bit. Double KB would make my UB sore for sure! Good for you!
 
Hi Everyone!

I am sore from 4DS UB yesterday. I used my new heavier dumbells and now I am feeling it. We didn't get to Wall-E last night. DH was exhausted so we are going to go tonight. He is working again today so I will be surprised if he is not tired tonight. Not sure what I am going to do today. I would really like to do some cleaning but my allergies is still wearing me down.

Robin, the house looks really nice. My vote is for a house because I like the extra space, but everyone is different. Have fun at your last day of scouts.
Katie, sorry Collin is sick. I hope he gets better soon.
Kate, let us know how L&G take 2 goes with Mike.
Jenn, I really want a treadmill too just to vary my workouts. I need to figure out where to put it though.

I had to run out before I was done typing before. Mike camein the room and was watching me type! Yes, he was mucho glad the power went out, but oddly I think he's looking forward to continuing tonight - he even brought it up! Maybe I'll convert him after all!

Colleen, ^5 to DOMS! You've got me wanting to do that WO now! Great WOs today too! How much of CB do you do? Are you excited to meet TS on RT too? Sorry about the allergies - take a nap after your WO and maybe you'll feel refreshed for cleanmax and datemax.

I did SO GREAT at breakfast! I made pancakes and sausage for the fam - I had cereal and fruit! They looked really good though!

Well, we did not do L&G. I think he was actually a bit sore from the little bit we did y'day and to be honest, my rd. ligament is really acting up so LB prob. wouldn't be too safe for me. I did MM UB while he did his own thing. While I am *so happy* that he is lifting again I do NOT like to share my WO space. I think it would be fine of we were doing the same exercise at the same time but it didn't work out so well tonight. I'll just have to start beating him down there so I get first pick of which bench to claim!!! Motivation to go do my WO I suppose!

Sunday we're having company over for lunch. Meals will be clean - it's the dessert I'm gonna screw up on. I just need to keep my portions in check and i'll be fine. Tomorrow will be some cardio. I'll go to the chiro Monday so I can do LB again.

Homemade pizza sounds like a good idea.

Yesterday went really well. The scouts had a great time with the games and their own games (water balloon fight with their brothers).
All the parents were there and they were pleasant except for this one parent who is always our-to-lunch. She was the only one who brought raw food (hotdogs). So I told her to go back home and cook them. She complained that we were not organized. It's only a picnic how much organization does it take.x( After we was done with the picnic she had the nerve to ask if we were meeting over the summer months. NO not with you...I thought to myself.

Today my w/o will be 1/2 of MIS and CTX step interval cardio and CLEANMAX

Menu:

Chicken Citrus Salad I going to try this today.




Ingredients

Citrus vinaigrette:


4 tablespoons fresh orange juice



2 teaspoons olive oil


2 teaspoons honey (I'll skip this)


1 1/4 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard


Salad:


4 small skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (12 ounces)


4 cups torn mixed salad greens


2 medium oranges, peeled and sectioned


8-12 strawberries



Directions
1. To make the vinaigrette: In a small bowl combine the orange juice, oil, honey, and mustard. Set aside.

2. To make the salad: Place the chicken on a grill rack over medium-hot coals. Grill, uncovered for 6 minutes. Turn the chicken and grill for 6-9 minutes more or until the chicken is tender and no longer pink inside.

3. In a large bowl, toss mixed greens and oranges.

4. Arrange the greens mixture on 4 salad plates. Place a sliced chicken breast on each plate. Drizzle with vinaigrette. Garnish with sliced strawberries.

Serves 4.

Today we are going to a dance recital and then a bday party at Build a Bear.

w/o bodymax 2 step combos, upperbody 2x and abs.
menu: is up in the air, need to figure out a menu and stick to it.

Good morning ladies!! My Living room is painted and I LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!! The color is perfect, everything is so CLEAN, and we moved the furniture so it looks so different and new. My workout space is different -- I lost about a foot front-to-back, but gained several feet laterally. As soon as we got the furniture it, I dragged out a step, popped in BM2, and went at it with the bonus cardio -- plenty of room for all those moves, so I should be fine.

More about paint max -- by 10 am, we had FOUR friends show up to help, so a total of 6 people to paint one small room. It was fun at first, but it quickly got annoying. For the most part, I hung back with Collin and my best friend and let the boys do the work. One it was all done, though, I painted the white trim (baseboards, windows, etc.), that's my thing.

So today is decorate-max, and I will post pictures tomorrow morning. Let me say again -- the color is PERFECT!

Good Morning Everyone!

Last night we went to see Wall-E and it was a very cute movie. Dinner at Macaroni was clean but it was not very tasty. I had the grilled halibut with tomato relish and it was really bland. Luckily they gave us a survey so I am going to let them know that their sensible choices are very tasty.

Robin, Macaroni Grill is a chain of Italian restaurants. They have really good fattening Italian dishes on their menu. Looks like you have a good rotation for this week.
Jenn, I always hate when I am going to be out because it is so hard to figure out my menu. Good luck today.
Kate, sorry about your right ligament. I don't know if I could compete with DH for my workout space. We have enough trouble with getting showers some mornings. I did all of CB beginning with the ball part through planks. I am really excited to meet Tracey on the RT.
Katie, I am glad that painting went well yesterday. I am glad you got lots of extra help. Good job on getting your workout in.

Hi Steph and thanks for reminding me. I'm here eating my grill chicken salad and I forgot that I was suppose to be trying something new. I just put in some OJ and oranges. It's very good because it has an asian taste to it.

I finished cleanmaxing and now it's time to sit down and watch some DVDs.

Steph, I hope today is going much better than yesterday :)

I just ordered slanted risers from Amazon.com. I found out they are 15% and free shipping until the end of June which is tomorrow. Before that I cleaned out my closet. I had old clothes that didn't fit me and it felt good to get rid of them. Tomorrow I am going to tackle my shoes and shelves.

Dance recital was good. The little girls and boys are so cute to watch, and the older more experience girls are great dancers and very entertaining.

Steph I only did the upper body 1x, I ran out of time. Sorry yesterday was so draining for you hope your feeling better today. ((HUGS)).

I just got done cooking -- fried chicken and mac and cheese, as requested by our best friends. Sooooooo unclean, sorry. I also made a rum cake for Chris, but I don't like it so it won't be hard to resist. I am baking cookies (sugar cookies decorated like watermelons) to take to work and Collin's preschool this week.
