Good morning to my peeps!!

No plan for today, just hopefully clean! Breakfast will be Wheat Chex and a banana. If DDs share an apple I'll eat their skins. Gina used to eat hers but not anymore.:-(

Some sort of leftovers concoction will be my lunch. We'll be going out to eat tonight so I'll order a grilled chicken salad.

DDs and I will be making zucchini bread today. Yum! Guess I'll have to settle for clean there! And portion-controlled!;-)

Mufasa is trying to get Annie to play with him! So cute. Annie is a little bit annoyed by him, but just wait until he gets bigger than her!

Taking kids and pup to the park this A.M. We have to get outside early because it's going to be HOT today. Enjoy it while we can.....

G'morning Clean & Tidy Peeps! (love that!)

Kate ~ Hot here too. We spent a good 3 hrs at the pool y'day & are heading back today! Cute pup, love the name Mufasa! We have a huge dog, a Chocolate lab/ German Shepherd mix named Mikey (my 8yo named him Mikey from Monsters, Inc. ;-) ). He's 3 yrs old now, but I remember that puppy stage!

I did a 4.25 mile run this morning & will do PLB here in a few.

Liquids ~ 40 oz water, cup of coffee

Breakfast ~ Usual oatmeal

Snack ~ Probably yogurt + Kashi GL

Lunch ~ Packing lunches for the pool again

Dinner ~ Leftovers! ;-)

I slipped up a little yesterday but I don't feel to bad about it since I think a little sin in one's diet is okay ;-)

Today is the usual Kashi, skim milk, and tea with cream & sugar

Lunch will be some reheated green beans, fresh red bell pepper, and black beans

My snack will be green tea and applesauce

Dinner will be a bit of my nephew's steak with jack daniels sauce (he will soon be starting culinary school and likes to try his skills out on all of us--not that I mind!) and any veggies I can scare up.

I will be joining Jess in guzzling 40 ounces of water (or more)

There will be no ice cream tonight :)

Will I meeting any of you on the roadtrip? I hope so!!
 
Hey Beavs! We all have our not so clean days! It's getting back on track that counts!!

Oh, and the 40 oz water is already what I've guzzled so far. I always get in at least 120 oz, usually closer to 140 oz a day. I have a water bottle w/ me at all times!!! ;-)

I'm not going on the RT, but am excited about everyone else meeting up! Can't wait to read all about it!

I added in PLB (standing only), so I'm off to make a protein shake! ;-) Kiddos are just now waking up!

Today w/o was 1 hour of cardio.

B-Golean waffles and blueberries
S-Yogurt
L- 1slice of whole wheat bread and turkey
S- 1/2 cup of Kashi
D- left overs too, whole wheat pasta and turkey sausage

It's something about summer I just don't feel like cooking. kate have fun with Mufasa and kids at the park. Good menus today.I think that I drink a lot more fluids than I plan to drink, also.

There is major heatwave here as well, 35 degrees, with humadex, the equivalent to 105!! Last night i did workout, but was really pushing it without aircon. Probably not the safest thing for me to do

Beavs, i'm going on the roadtrip!!!! I'm excited, scared, freakin out all of the above. Can't wait to meet and eat, I mean meet and greet :)

Got up a 4am, a bit cooler and did MM, upper body only, will do some barr method after work.
I just want to say i think this check in has really helped me. I really enjoy chatting with all of you everyday!!

Food: usual so far, oatmeal, hemp protein, blueberries, almond milk
snack: pear, so far tons of water and 1 green tea.

Thanks for the advice Steph and Kate, I'm going to encourage my DS to use my Taeboe DVDs, since he like boxing. I'm also going to encourage him to drink more water. Yesterday he went outside and was racing with his friends down the block and back.

Hi Wendi it seems that you have all the motivation that you need, so just do it. Sometimes I trick myself into working out by saying I'm only going to do 20 mins...which turn into 1 hour w/o.

Sjeila hitting a plateau sucks. Just keep doing what you are doing. I write down my w/o and eating habbits to see where I'm going wrong. With me it is the after dinner snacks. Why does everything taste better after 8 o'clock;-)

I am really busy at work, but I wanted to quickly check-in. Still have the cold but I am gradually getting better each day.

Another road tripper here. And I'm another one getting nervous too. I'm back from vacation and not sure what workout will get done today. Something with weights, since I did manage to get some cardio done while I was away. We stayed at my SIL's for most of the trip, with a side trip to college friends. Neither household is big on snacks or sweets, so all told, I was pretty clean most of the trip. Way too much wine, though. I haven't had any chocolate for a week, which is very hard to believe. I'm going to see how long I can avoid the stuff.
Bfast-banana, WW eng muffin with PB&J
Lunch-PB&J on whole wheat, carrots, berry salad
Dinner-grilled pork chop, salad, corn on the cob
 
Hi there clean and tidies!

Well, I did manage to get my butt moving last night and did most of BM2. I skipped the upperbody, as I tend to do from time to time, because I tend to end up with bigger guns than I'd like, even if I stay very light with the weight. I felt so energized afterward...thanks for the motivation gang! Today is a scheduled rest day on Cathe's rotation so I plan on taking full advantage. Besides, I think the five hours of riding this morning in this heat wave qualifies for something!

Kate - I have a serious weakness for zucchini bread, YUMMY!

Jess - I'd be floating if I consumed that much water :eek:. I push for 60 to 80 ozs a day.

Beavs, Steph, and Robin (buffettgirl) - While I'm not *officially* going to the RT I am planning on heading down for Cathe's Friday am step class and will probably hang around for a bit afterward with the hopes of maybe catching up with some of you lucky ducks :7. What time is everyone arriving?

Robin (Jazcam) - I've used the "half hour" trick also and it usually does work. As it turned out I had a TON of energy last night and had a great time.

Colleen - Have a great time at the beach! Do you mind if I ask where you're going?

Today's menu is pretty close to yesterday's...
B - spinach and mushroom omelette
S - steel cut oats with blueberries
L - salad with tuna, nat PB on Ezekiel sprouted grain bread, banana
S - tomatoes with basil and balsamic vinegar, cherries
D - chipotle turkey meatloaf, grilled veggies
No Thursday-after-bowling-cone x(.

Robin, you're right! Food always does taste better when it's dark out, when I've been getting tempted lately I'll have something that's low fat/cal. so I won't feel too guilty. Although, during the weekends that doesn't always hold so true!

Today's meals -

B - Whole wheat graham crackers & some OJ (I'm low on food & not going shopping until tomorrow so I'm having to get creative)
L - Veggie soup, walnuts & raisins
D - Tostada w/ beans, green pepper & lettuce

And . . . a rootbeer float with some (or maybe a little more than some) soy icecream }( But, I didn't each much today in general, and it was so worth it to indulge!
