never too much salsa! dh got some fresh salsa at the store (sorry kate:eek:) and i pretty much ate half today:p so good! anne, what are your leftovers?

kate, sounds lke your house will be crazy for a bit.

klaud, noise did me in today too. i had to tell dh to turn off the classical music too b/c i just wanted silence!

so glad my day is almost over. i really miss maine:( i love our home and neighborhood, but it is so hot here. and everything is so weird and different. today is my 3rd day in a row not doing any errands and i feel a bit trapped. need some sleep, and start fresh tomorrow. eats went pretty well today, but i had a few too many "sugar free" things which means artificial sugar. not so good, i know, but it could have been worse. i'd give my right arm for some carb heavy refined something right now. yes, i am hormonal:eek: but, off to brish my teeth, and i will sleep bteter without it. oh, and good news! i found a few outdoor water fountains on my running routes!! see you all in the am
 
Nina: I liked the positive end to your post about the outdoor fountains on your run. You'll get to where you think of FL as home. My BF moved down there 5 years ago and after a period of time, she said it truly felt like she belonged there.

Kate: Love salsa, especially on scrambled eggs!

I made turkey spinach bake for dinner- good veggies and protein. I made apple crockpot pudding for tomorrow's breakfast. I'll post that one, I LOVE it. :eek:

My sore throat from the other day is now a full blown head cold- could be worse but ugh! Gotta go get ready for tomorrow, just checking in!
 
Apple Crock Pot Pudding

6 apples peeled and cut into bite size pieces place in crock pot
2/3 cup egg white
1/2 c. whole wheat flour or oat bran (I use oat bran)
1 1/2 c. steel cut oats
1/2 c. Splenda or honey or agave nectar or sugar...
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp apple pie spice or 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. grated nutmeg
1 1/2 c. skim milk

Spray crock pot with Pam, put apples in crock pot, mix all other ingredients together and pour over apples stir and cook for 4 hours on low.

Nina, I need to brush too!:p FWIW, I think you are doing GREAT! I'd be in a corner sucking my thumb! Or, at least drowning myself in ice cream!:p:p:p It will feel more like home soon enough! Maybe try to find some moms groups around???? Something to get out of the house anyway.... hugs!

Well, our bedroom is officially in our Great Rm now!:p Mike has to take the toilet out of the bathrm and then we're headed down for workouts. Cardio for me.....better figure out which one. I *really* want to lounge in bed with ice cream!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek: Nevertheless, a'stepping I will go!:p

Kate - Count me in on another that went bad this weekend. Well, we were celebrating my ds' bday with my parents so I had to have cake and ice cream right?? Did you find the yeast for the lactating cookies?

So I went running yesterday and that was great. It's been awhile since I went running. Planning on some ub work today. Waiting for the storm to pass through. Nothing yet so far. Schools might be close tomorrow if it gets bad. Be back later. Kids need to do homework.

I did KCM StepBoxing - I liked it. I did the cardio and abs then added on some of StepHeat. Resisted laziness - YES!!!!
 
I'm thinking mix and match of BM2 ub and maybe LIC ub. We'll see. Yay for pushing through the laziness. Thanks for inspiring me!
