----Clean & Tidy Monday-----

I'm getting ready to go to NC. I'm taking Amtrak. I hope my kids sleep all the way. I pack many clean snacks, salads and water.

I'll try to check in with my cousin's computer. If not have a great week.

Sheesh, you are up early Robin!! I forgot that you were leaving today for NC -- good luck with the trip and all the planning that you will be doing. This is such an exciting time for you, and a little stressful too I am sure. I will keep you in my thoughts.

I believe my quads and glutes have recovered from Cathe's lower body blast class and I am ready to get back in the saddle again. I think workouts will take on a whole different feel now that I have seen and been on the set where everything is filmed.

WO this morning will be LIC upper body premix -- this choreography is so fun to me, and I love the upper body stuff in this one. Menu will be...

Menu:

b cereal
s fruit, ??
l ???
s fruit, ??
d cleaned up chicken enchiladas (I will get you a recipe this time I swear!)

So it looks like I really have no idea what I am eating today... That could be a problem. Lemme think on that and get back to you.

A few pictures...

Robin!!!!!!!! We missed you!!!! I hope NC goes well for you. I'm excited for you guys!

Katie, Glad you've recovered! Good luck with the eats today. ^5 on a fun workout.

I am still recovering from airportmax. Not sure if I'll do a WO today or not. The way I feel right now is a NOT. Going to the chiro this AM and after that I havean appt with my midwife. Just my monthly check up - no worries. I lost 1.5 pounds this weekend!!! I don't think they're going to be very happy about that. Oops!:p

Not sure about eats yet. Grocerymax on schedule too I'm sure!

Hope everyone is doing well. bbl....

Kate, DOWN 1.5 pounds!! You should have eaten more scrapple!! I am sure the stress of the delayed/cancelled flights didn't really help!

Anyone heard from Steph? I haven't and I am worried. Was she delayed at the airport too? It sounds like pretty much everyone was.

I forgot I am supposed to bring donuts to work today so likely I will eat one. I will do that for snack with my fruit. Also, on my lunch I am going to Martin's to get some fresh produce and I will fix a salad at the salad bar. Aren't y'all proud of my for eating a salad?

Steph, I will get a large dunkin' coffee and think of you as I drink it! Please text me or e-mail me and let me know you are okay!!

Hey Katie, Steph did get home. Her plane didn't take off til midnight, home at 3AM, teaching at 8AM. Poor girl's exhausted.

Good planning around the donut.

And, yeah, I'm sure airport-drama had more to do withmy weightloss than anything.

Well, I'm gettin' hungry! Time for Kashi!:)

Emily.... where arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrree yooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuu????

Good morning everyone!

I feel a lot less tired than yesterday which is good. I have a bunch of meetings today so I need my energy.

Robin, have a great trip and a great birthday.
Kate, glad you finally made it home. ^5 on the weight loss.
Katie, good plan on avoiding the donuts.
Hi Steph, Emily, Shirl, Angie & Jenn

Hi girls!!! I'm here! I'm so excited to be a Clean & Tidy person! I should warn you all now that my eating is neither clean, nor tidy. :p But I try...

Kate and Steph - you have no idea how relieved I am that you both made it home. Even if it did take forever and a day. Did you guys think the RT was worth all the travel headaches? It's not usually THAT bad, just so ya know. ;)

Colleen, sorry to hear you'll be in meeting hell today. Been there, done that. I feel your pain. I only have 2 meetings today, and I think I'm going to skip one of them (it's a weekly meeting that usually has nothing to do with me).

Katie, I am totally proud of you and your new found love for salad!

Robin, have fun in NC! I've always wanted to take an Amtrak trip.

Okay, time for my daily report, eh? I did 4DS LIS, Shoulders, Calves and Core this morning. I think I'm going to do a 4DS rotation for a few weeks and see how it goes. Just to mix things up, ya know?

B - protein shake and banana
S - whole grain Power bar (I know, not clean, but I was in a hurry)
L - veggie ham sandwich on homemade wheat bread, and a nectarine
S - baby carrots and a light string cheese
D - TBD, maybe some kind of pasta with veggies

And just in case you all didn't see my RT pics, they are here. I think the vast majority of them are of Clean & Tidy people. :p ('cause y'all are just so cool!)

Good morning everyone,

Well, I did LIC (Low Impact Circuit) last night for the first time. I really enjoyed it. For some reason, I feel weight work more when it's lower weight and higher reps. I'm not sure if I'll be up for drill max tonight but I'll try it out probably because I can't have a new workout on the shelf and not do it! :) I skipped the abs portion of LIC but finished the rest. The pushups were brutal but I did like the ones that taught how to do push ups on your toes. I couldn't even begin to do the ones on the step.

Unfortunately my WO (technically WOs b/c I did my strollerblade in the morning) were the only positives of my day. Eating was far from clean. My stress eating is really shining through right now. But, yesterday was a good learning curve for me because I felt disgusting by this morning (I'm sure the wine didn't help!).

Anyway, Emily, I loved your RT pics. So cute. Someday, I hope to join everyone on a RT. I have a feeling it will be a few years though with our move to France! :)

Katie, I'm holding out for your enchilada recipe! :) Thanks for the recommendation of LIC. I really enjoyed it. I will have to try the upper body premix. I really liked all those moves as well.

Colleen, as usual your menu looks great. What do you eat when you have "chopped veggies?" I'm still learning how to prepare/eat veggies.

Kate, I can't believe you lost weight! That was definitely not something I did during my pregnancies! I blew up like a balloon! Aside from my battle scars, I'm surprised I came out as unscathed as I did!

Robin, hope your travels go well. We'll miss you if you can't check in! Take care this week!

Well, my goal is to stay away from junk today and try to flush my body of it all.

B: yogurt, strawberries, kashi
S: banana
L: turkey/string cheese/carrot
S: clif
D: taco salad on spinach

Have a great day everyone!

Emily,

Was checking out your web site... you don't work for CAT do you? The Central IL location and engineer were my clues...

My husband works for CAT (mechanical engineer) and we were in Peoria for 4 years before we transferred out to Tucson and now are looking at taking a transfer to France... anyway, just thought I'd check...

angie

Clue #3 - Grandview Drive... do I win yet???

LOL! Angie, you are GOOD! ;) Yes, I do work for Cat (as does my DH). Good for you guys trying to get relocated to France! That's very cool and something I could never do (I HATE moving and traveling - it's very stressful for me, which is ironic since I spent my entire childhood moving around and traveling). Do you think you guys will come back to Peoria ever?

And I totally hear you about the feeling disgusting after eating poorly. Your body really does get used to clean food, and when you try to stuff it with junk, it revolts! And in the case of scrapple, the body revolts just from looking at it! :p

Tee hee. I'm a good PI. :)

So, yes, of course we'll come back to Peoria. All CAT roads lead in that direction eventually, right? Plus, we have amazing friends in Peoria (who are already a little ticked that we're going to France instead of coming back there...).

I grew up in Chicagoland so Peoria was an adjustment for me but I just loved the people! Anyway, small world.

Yes, all Cat roads do indeed lead to Peoria. ;) It's not the most exciting place on the planet, but it's comfortable. And hey, there's hardly ever any traffic! Having lived in Chicago for a few years myself, I definitely appreciate the lack of traffic in Peoria.

Well, hey, if you're ever in town, look me up. We live out in Metamora (we are certified Metamorons :p).

Good Morning Everyone!

Welcome to the group Emily! Loved the pictures. :D

It sounds and looks like everyone had a great time.

I teach sports conditioning and then Boot Camp late afternoon/early evening. My workout this am was CC #2 revised and The Nitty Gritty (a quick core premix from Tracie Long's TLP workouts. I forgot how tough it was.)

Angie, CCPP is Cardio Coach Press Play - it's an amazing workout. Just in case you haven't read any of the threads in OD, here's a link cardiocoach.com. When are you going to SD?

Katie, Thanks for posting the pictures. You all look great!

Colleen, Sending you some energy for your meetings. It's so nice to 'see' you.

Kate, Hope your appt. goes well. You look absolutely radiant!

Robin, Vacation is so close! :)

I'll be back with my menu.

Hi Everyone,

Angie, chopped veggies right now is a combo of baby carrots, celery, and cucumber. It usually has carrots and celery as the base and then I throw in either cucumber or broccoli.
Emily, haven't had a chance to look at the pictures yet. Will need to do that tonight.
Shirl, I hope I can get a treadmill soon so I can do Cardio Coach. We are discussing where to put it since my workout area is already a little small.

Got to run - needy coworker is lurking and I need to run to the ladies room and hide. Good thing he is a man so it's easy to hide.

Hello Colleen, Emily, Angie, & Shirl!

Colleen, I'm having a tbd day too! But clean so far! I actually got a lecture from my midwife today that I'm probably not eating ENOUGH! Never would've guessed THAT! She wants me to add more protein mainly.

Ugh - phonecall came in. bbl..........

Hi Everyone!

Lunch was a grilled chicken salad and a roll (I was hungry). Dinner is going to be ww wheat pasta w/ fire roasted tomato sauce and hopefully turkey meatballs. Otherwise beef meatballs.

Emily - I don't know how I missed your avatar earlier. I guess I was so focused on running away. I just went through the pictures and they look great. Thanks for posting them.
Kate - I always have a hard time adding more protein. Hope you were able to find some clean protein for dinner.
Angie, good plan to flush out your body. I like doing that after I eat a lot of junk. It helps me to feel better.

GTG and make dinner so I am not eating at 8:30 again.

I'm here

Hey ladies.

Safe and sound and want to go to Wally World.

I already saw 2 houses, so far so good, but I haven't sign for anything yet.
