Workout is done -- 4DS HIS and GS chest. I've decided to go with Gym Styles instead of S&H, at least to start with, cause it's been awhile since I used them.

Cooking b'fast now -- breakfast burrito made with sauteed onions and peppers, 2 egg beater eggs, and a whole grain tortilla. We'll see how this makes me feel (I love eggs but they don't always love me!). I REALLY need to concentrate on fruits and veggies this week. Here's my menu

b b'fast burrito
s strawberries, cereal bar
l tuna salad sandwich
s banana, almonds
d hamburger steak w/grilled onions, broccoli, sweet potato
LOTS of water!
 
Katie, I lovelovelove your loving room color! It looks great! You and your boys are so sweet together too. I hope your b'fast stays down well for you - I know what you mean about eggs not loving you! Me + hard-boiled eggs = skunkdom! Your WO today sounds great and so does your menu! You're motivating me for a super-clean day too.

Y'day was a busy, tiring day. I did LIS (yes, the beginner one) and I was so tired and sore all the way thru it. I hate modiying - wah!!! I at least want to be able to semi-keep up at RT. I hope I can!

hoping to go to water aerobics tonight.

Our next 3 days are jam-packed so we're staying around the house today to get some things done. Grocery shopping too & chiro visit.

I would like to eat low carb until I get my weight back to "normal" then I'll eat clean by adding whole grain foods.
 
Mornin' Robin! I hope they play nice at work today! Great menu and carb plan. I need to do the same - too carb-heavy lately. Awesome WO too! Is your stretch CS? I did AIS y'day - I wish I could say it felt could but I was feeling my pregnancy limitations and I was pretty grumpy about it. Hope you have a nice day.
 
Hi Everyone!

Today is my last day of my 4 day weekend then back to work. I have not touched my blackberry so I hope there is not a disaster waiting for me when I get back. I have some errands to do this morning (it's nice being able to get them done while everyone is at work), and I am not sure about this afternoon.

Robin, I have been trying to cut out the bad carbs. I love summer fruit too much to cut back completely.
Kate, sorry you are sore. I hope you get a chance to rest today.
Katie, your living room looks great! I hope you got rid of all the bad food you made last night :-D

Colleen, I think being a stay-at-home mom I totally take for granted being able to do my errands during the day. Great WO & I refuse to cut out summer fruit too.

Lunch has changed. Making eggs & veggies. Watermelon and about a 1/3 c. of cereal to finish the box up.

Has anyone noticed how expensive groceries are lately?

I agree Robin! EVERYTHING is so much higher, and everyone is suffering! Thanks for the compliments on our home!

Today was very clean. Dinner is changing -- instead of sweet potato I am making boiled baby red potatoes, and feeling a little guilty about it. Chris LOVES them, though, and I love Chris, so my waistline will suffer a bit.

My pants were VERY tight around the waist today -- not good!
 
PS I looked up "onions" on thedailyplate today, and they have a LOT of calories for a vegetable, IMHO. Did anyone else know this??

Sorry for my late check in, its a holiday here in Canada, so no work today or tomorrow. Painted my front porch! And went for my last session with the trainer, so its been very busy.
Christian left again today, this is such an emotional nightmare i cant hardly stand it.

Katie, the room looks awesome!!! All the pics do, i cant wait to meet you in mere weeks.

Kate, you will be fit for the RT, easy on yourself woman!

Robin, nice menu,and yes, groceries cost a forturne. We'll all be thin because we wont be able to afford to eat soon!

I can't believe I go back to work tomorrow. Luckily it is a short week :) Just finished dinner and chopping fruits and veggies for this week (I almost forgot to do it).

Steph, sorry about the emotional nightmare {{{HUGS}}} Glad you painted your front porch. I bet it looks nice.
Robin, yes groceries are more expensive. Luckily I don't have growing children so it has been a little easier to cut back.
Katie, don't worry about the potatoes. You could do a lot worse like french fries :)
