My weight last week was 141, this morning 139.5 -- I am psyched!!

I think I am getting sick AGAIN! I have this horrible sore throat and I am congested. I am hoping it is just a cold, though.

I don't have to work a full day -- YAY! I get to take my comp time (about 2.5 hours) from when I did all those drug screens at night, so I am only working about 2/3 day. If I feel up to it, I might go do some fall clothes shopping for Collin. Or I might come home and catch a quick nap, who knows.

This morning I am trying HIS for the first time. I am leaving myself one hour since I know I will have to go back many times. This is my last week of the gym styles and I am getting sad -- my guns are looking so good!

My weight last week was 138. Now it's stinkin' 138.5!!!!!!!! Ugh! I thought I did good and my CLOTHES FIT BETTER - so how can the scale be UP?! I guess I have to cut out every last trace of even tidy and go straight for ultra-clean. So here's today:

l - tortilla soup, grapes
s - banana or apple
d - x( at in-laws - no idea
workout - LowImpact Circuit

Dinner is my b'day dinner with them. NO CAKE. NOT EVEN A BITE.


Katie - I'm glad for you! You did awesome! I think I might do GymStyles after November's rotation. Enjoy your afternoon off!
You'll have fun with HIS. I can do all of it except one part of Combo 3.

I hope you all have a better weigh-in than I did;( ;( . I guess this is my motivation to kick it up a notch higher.

Morning girls....DOMS city for me. I had to make myself get up and exercise today. I hurt everywhere, even my fingers.

My weight last week was 160...today 159.5 at least I broke out of the 160s. I've been plateau for about 2 months.My goal weight is 150 because I'm 5'8" African American Momma. Really I'm thin compared to my friends who are all around 200#.Really, this is why it is hard to stay on my eating plan.

Today's w/o powerwalking for 45 minutes
b- egg whites

l-chicken and whole wheat pasta
d- chicken breast and veggies
s-?

Katie I hope you feel better and let us know what you think of HIS...it was difficult for me with my back towards the TV...you'll see what I mean.

Don't worry Kate about that small amount of weight...it just maybe water weight. Try drinking green tea and water today, then check the scale again tomorrow.

I think that I weighted less this past Friday because the weekends with the kids throws me off my eating plans.

Kate, please don't sweat the weigh-in, that .5 pound could be anything. If your clothes fit better, that is what matters!!

Robin, if this makes you feel any better, I am 5'1" and I weigh 139.5 or whatever, about a size 8. That weight for your frame leads me to believe you are really slim!
 
Katie- Thanks for the cheerleading. Hey, maybe it's muscle gain!:p :)

Robin - 1/2 lb - Way to go! It's hard to eat clean when EVERYONE around you is not. They'll say "Oh, c'mon you can eat (fill in the blank) - you're so skinny!" But what they don't get is that is how you STAY slim!

I had a 1/2 banana w/ breakfast. Been drinking lots of water, as usual. My period started - maybe that's attributing to the scale too. It WILL be less next week.
 
TTOM sure will cause weight gain. You're right they don't understand how we stay thin.

Holloween is coming and it's candy all over the place....on sale too.

Good Morning Ladies!

It looks like we're off to a good start! I did the HIS circuit from 4DS. It was a pretty good mix of upper body weights from all 4 segments. My neck is still a little stiff and I wanted to make sure heavy lifting doesn't irritate it. It felt fine! :) More good news; I weighed in at 137!

Kate, It's TTOM and you're only .5 heavier. I bet next week shows a loss - guaranteed!

Robin - I don't even buy H'ween candy. I figure we'll get it after trick-or-treating and because we take DDs out we aren't home to pass out candy anyway. PLUS we live on a country road w/ no trick-or-treaters around.

Shirl - Good workout today! Congrats on your lbs!

Hi Everyone!

Congrats to everyone on the good weigh ins. My weight is up slightly but I am not surprised. I did not eat well on Fri or Sat. I am at 139.5 which 1 pound heavier than last week.

The good news is no Halloween candy at my house this week. My DH and I got tired of trying to work, eat and hand out candy so we have made Halloween into a date night. We are planning on going out for Mexican.

Kate, you HAVE to eat, girl! I am SURE that .5 pound or more is due to you-know-what. Please get yourself a heating pad and a sandwich!

My lunch is soup and corn bread -- still not feeling great. BUT, I am leaving work at 2 pm, come home for a small nap, then shopping with my little man. Dinner is making itself in the crock pot, and we are going to back Halloween goodies tonight and carve the pumpkin!

Good afternoon! I DID eat. My lunch ended up being scrambled egg w/ 2 additional egg whites, green pepper; on top of 1 slice of 9-grain unbuttered toast. I shared a huge apple w/ DDs. I did NOT eat 1 bite of their macaroni. Been drinking lots of water.

Colleen - What a fun tradition on H'ween. Keeps the candy out of the house! I love Step Blast - so much fun.

Good evening, gals!

I did good at the inlaws. Dinner was rice w/ steak tips and gravy. I had a small amount of rice (at least it was brown!), and some of the meat with the gravy waaaaaay drained off (it was all mixed together). MIL buttered the corn so I took a v.small amount. (They watch what you eat like a hawk and get wierd if you don't take some of everything) And I had some cut-up yellow pepper. They are NAZI if I don't eat desert so I had some of my b'day cake w/ a v. small scoop of i.c. Not too bad. I ate v. clean today otherwise so all in all it was a good day.

I have so much to do tonight so a workout will be nearly impossible. Will get in a good one tomorrow. Sure wish I could do them during the day.

Kate, I think considering your birthday and TTOM, you are doing very well food-wise.

Robin, how is the fasting going? Is today day one?

I have a confession to make -- I had some cheats tonight. One brownie that I made (with a melted mini Reese's pb cup in it!), and a cookie! Oops!!
 
Hello clean and tidy friends!

Thanks for the welcome backs! Sorry for the late post, first day back at work was so busy, hardly a second to myself!

My trip was nice, best part...visiting my best friend who lives there. London is very busy. I ate so terribly, i cant even tell you! I definately put on some weight, especially with the back thing and minimal workouts!
But when i got home, my 4D splits were here!! Yay! I've been reading through your posts, and see many of you have done them, good for you! Kate, i think you tried HIS, looks tough, how'd it go?

Eating, back on track today
I'm still seeing the chiropractor as well, so i attempted to lift tonight, did the Chest and back from the new series, and cardio from DM! I'm tender tonight though, going to ice the old back

Great workouts everyone, and .5 lbs is nothing :)

Katie - Your deserts sound yummy.
Steph - The HIS is fun fun fun. I got it all pretty much right away except for a small part of Combo 3 where you're facing away from Cathe for awhile. If I slowed it down I know I'd get it right away but I never have the patience for it. I'll get it soon. DM cardio is so much fun.

Well, I've got bad and good news.
bad - DH broght in leftover cake that his ma sent home w/ him. I swear she did it just to tempt me....and it worked. I ate a piece while I was unpacking my gifts! *&$@#()&^%$ cake!
good - I went downstairs to do the step part od SJP and the first HiLo segment.

I have so much to do tonight and its already 9, but if I don't take care of myself no one will. btw, I threw out the rest of the cake. I sure don't need anymore and DDs don't either w/ H'ween parties the next 2 days. (at which I will not eat any sweets. Candy doesn't tempt me, but homemade goodies sure do!)
