### Clean & Tidy Monday Weigh-In ###

CollinsMom

Cathlete
Happy Monday! It is the start of a new week -- clean up the eating in preparation for the Thanksgiving festivities!

Also, each day this week, please list 5 things that you are thankful for!

Good morning, weight for me today was the same as last week (138.5). I am happy considering all of the crap I have eaten.

For the next three days, I am going for super-clean! No sweets, no unnecessary calories. On Thursday, I will get up early and go for a nice run. Then I will eat whatever I want and NOT feel guilty!

AGGGGHHHHHHHHHH I just typed several long paragraphs and it all got deleted! Damnit stupid laptop computer!

Kate, I think if you are still seeing results, then stick with the 4DS rotation. I'm not sure what I will do in December...

Menu for today~

B strawberry protein shake
S half sandwich
L tuna, crackers, baby carrots
S apple slices, string cheese
D grilled chicken, rice, green beans

I am thankful for...

1. My love for fitness
2. My beautiful, healthy son
3. My loving, supportive fiance
4. A job that I love AND pays the bills
5. A 2 1/2 day workweek this week!!!

Morning peeps.

I hear what you're saying concerning thanksgiving meal. I also plan to do a great w/o that day (kickbox and abs) then eat what I want. My trick this year will be to eat one plate while drinking water, then when Aunt Betty brings her desserts I'm going to put them in a silver plan and "save them". As long as I taste them she won't mind me packing them up. I guess when someone works hard and makes 5 or 6 different desserts they don't want the desserts just to sit there.
I would list the desserts she makes each year but this is a clean and tidy checkin ;) .

My weight is normal 160, I drop the 1 1/2 pound from last week. I guess it was water weight.

No w/o today, rest day. I'm surprised that my legs are not sore from yesterday 4day leg w/o. It's time to increase the DB and BB weight.

I'm thankful for:
1. God's blessings
2. mental and physical well being
3. family and friends
4. job
5. home, car and other material necessities

Oh forgot my menu :D

b- egg whites
s-yogurt and nuts
l- left over gd. turkey, rice and veggies
d- fish and ?

My challenge today will be no junk food!

I'm going to really try to not eat junk food until Thanksgiving, anyone with me?

>I'm going to really try to not eat junk food until
>Thanksgiving, anyone with me?

ABSOLUTELY, I'm in!

Now that I think about it, I think I will do a rotation in December using 4DS premixes. In January I will go back to Gym Styles, and then after that I will take a rest week from lifting. I am asking for Amy's Slo Mo for x-mas, so maybe I will use that after my rest week (in February). Feels weird to be planning my workouts for 3 months from now!

Good Morning Robin, Katie and everyone to follow,

Robin - you are brave to save the desserts. I used to bring a slice of cheesecake factory cheesecake home and eat it over a couple of days. It was good because I was dividing the calories but bad because I did not need the cheesecake.
Katie - If you get Slo-Mo for Xmas, you should mix it in with your Gym Style series. I think you would see fabulous results.
Kate - You should continue with the 4DS rotation into December. After that you will need to take a break.

w/o was Slo-Mo Chest, Bis and Tris
b: oatmeal w/ almonds
l: healthy chicken pot pie
s: fruit
d: flounder and ??

5 things I am thankful for:
1) my health
2) my wonderful husband
3) my family and friends
4) a job that pays the bills
5) wonderful instructors who challenge me every morning

Have a great day everyone!

Gooooooooood morning!

Katie - What a motivated lady you are today! Thanks for the inspiration! I'm feeling quite spunky today too.

Robin - Good for you too! I'll do no junk food too. Tomorrow will be hard - making cupcakes for preschool - but I CAN DO IT!

Colleen - Flonder?! Good for you! I never make fish at home. I'd be the only one to eat it and it REALLY grosses me out to see it raw. Like, I could almost heave!

Food:
b - kashi, grapes
s - peanuts
l - tortilla soup
s - ??
d - prob. out to eat - so grilled chicken salad somewhere.

w/0 - bootcamp & weights

I'm thankful for:
1- my girls
2- no debt (other than mortgage!)
3- knowing a true source of peace/happiness
4- DH (although I'm not feeling particulary lovey right now, I know he is a good husband/father/provider)
5- MY HOMEMADE APPLE PIE ON THURSDAY

I'll eat super clean w/ you all this week so I can have a slice w/o guilt!

Have a marvelous Monday!

>MY HOMEMADE APPLE PIE ON THURSDAY...with ice cream?

You betcha!

How's your day going, Robin? So far so good for me. Eating is as planned. I always start the day off well, but as the day goes on, stress kicks in, and there we go. If I didn't work out so hard I'd be obese! I'm challenging myself to be squeaky clean for the next 3 days. WE CAN DO IT!

DD1 is at school. DD2 is with grandma. Getting lots of work done - just took a little break - back to the grindstone!

Today is going well so far, food is as planned. I am sitting here munching on carrots and I am NOT happy about it, really want the cheese ball in the fridge, but whatever, I can do it!

First half of my day at work went well, second half I am not so sure about. I have to confront a client at 130, then go to court at 330 and give a speech to the newly licensed drivers -- yipee!

My mommy is going to bring my wedding dress to Thanksgiving on Thursday and I am dying to try it on again! Can't wait!

My eating so far has been clean and tidy, but we will see how tonight goes. I forgot to defrost the fish.

Cheese balls in the fridge, do you mean the Christmas cheese balls :9

Good Luck with your speech. Take some more pics of you in your wedding dress but don't let him see it.

OK ladies 2 1/2 more days left before Thanksgiving dinner. I wonder how many hours?

WE CAN DO IT!

Katie - YAY! Wedding dress! I bet it will fot even better than when you bought it!

Robin - You can do it!!!! I had a small slice of apple bread w/ my soup. I reallyreallyreallyreally want more, so I logged on here to get motivation. MANY THANKS!

We're in this together! WE CAN DO IT!
C'mon! I gave birth 2 times without drugs! I can say no to a piece of bread!

Busy today, i teach Monday mornings, so i'm running between the college and the hospital.

Katie, great idea about the thankfulness! And congrats on getting the room done.

Robin, you should be darn proud of the weight loss. Enjoy your rest day.

B: usual
S: none
L: corn soup, carrots/cottage cheese/apple

I'm thankful for:
My health, and the health of those close to me
My family and friends
The opportunities that have been giving to me, through work the keep me grounded
Random acts of kindness that make my day
Being born in a country that accepts all of these things :)
Steph

Steph - Don't be jealous I can cook! It keeps me from fitting into the next size smaller clothes!

Shirl - Congrats on the weight loss! Wish I could say the same. My waist has stayed about the same but I am noticing great strides in upper body on the 4day split.

I WANT APPLE BREAD!!! I'm leaving the house - no bread!!!!!

Kate, no epidural? You are my hero!

Day went fine, food has been fine, dinner is on the stove now. I got to feeling really sick this afternoon, thought I might vomit during my speech but I pulled it out!

1 1/2 more work days til Thanksgiving!!

I RESISTED THE APPLE BREAD!!!! ............til dinner anyway. I had a small slice w/ my egg whites and peppers. No guilt. It was protion-controlled and now it is GONE! It's chock-full of apples, so it's tidy anyway.

Yes, no epidural, no drugs. Did you do the epi w/ Collin? My births were awesome! I would go thru labor everyday. I think it's the most awesome thing a woman can do. Gina's labor was 8 hours and 3 pushes. Isabel's labor was 2 hours and ZERO pushes. That girl wanted OUT!...and she's been my wild crazy girl ever since. I guess my wide hips are good for somethin' anyway.

I have ate so well today. After DDs are in bed I'll go kick some but w/ BC & weights! See you in a bit!

My labor with Collin was 23 hours, the first 18 were un-medicated. Then I had some demoral, which did NOTHING. I had the epi and then everything went great. I pushed for nearly 3 hours... Maybe next time will be easier!

Sheesh, woman! I hope so!!! Not so sure if I would've gone w/out drugs on that one. Hats off to you for living to tell about it!
