[[[[[ clean & tidy hump day ]]]]]

Steph, I'm glad you have at least a little pieve of happiness right now. Good news on your Saturdays!

Shelley, Please get the cookies so I don't inhale them while I cook dinner! (which is taco salad btw)

Shirl, Busy day for you!

Web class is done - time for dinner prep!

Hi Shelley and welcome!! Your menu looks great!! A cookie, followed by a walk, does not count!! LOL!

I am 26 years old, a mom to a 3 year old boy (Collin) and I just got married!! My son's father and I split when he was really young, and my DH, Chris, and I had been friends for several years. We were friends thru my whole pregnancy and after I had Collin (he even threw my baby shower when I was preg, and was our first visitor in the hospital after Collin was born). He was married very briefly in 2004, and I was a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on when his marriage fell apart. Once we were both single, our relationship blossomed in to more! By day, I am a Case Manager for the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program, or ASAP, an alcohol and drug program for DUI offenders and the like. I found Cathe about a year and a half ago -- I had lost all my baby weight (I am another that passed the 200 lb. mark in pregnancy!) but wanted to try step aerobics, and I was hooked! I love high intensity step and heavy lifting! I got serious about clean eating when I started to rev up my workouts, because I knew I needed to change that to really see the results. ALLLLL of my favorite foods are awful for me and full of fat, calories, and processed crap, but I eat clean because I know I need to in order to live a long and healthy life.

Kate, I did not change my name! Sorry, please don't flame me, I just decided not to, mostly because of Collin...

Colleen, I will definitely check out the circuit city rotation.

Steph, glad to see you around!

Shirl, great menu. What is kefir??

Robin, where are you?

Katie, No flaming here! As a kid of divorce/remarriage it was really wierd for my mom to have a different last name than us.

Clean-eating victory! Portion-controlled on my taco salad and I ate NO, ZERO, ZILCH cookies while I was making dinner!

Katie - what a great story! I loved your wedding pics, by the way!

Okay, I got home and I was starving, so I ate a graham cracker while I walked and fed the dogs. Then I did Drillmax and LIC abs and ate another graham cracker and I just sat down after walking the dogs again, and I'm too tired to make anything fancy, so I'm having a toasted WW English muffin with natural pb and organic blueberries.

Hey Everyone!

Busy night - we had bad thunderstorms this afternoon while I was at work and then again after I got home. We had hoped to grill out but that didn't work out. I made tacos instead. I guess it was a taco night for most of us.

Shelley - welcome. Here's my brief history - I gained my weight in college - my father passed away suddenly and with all the changes I just ate to soothe my pain. I am very independent and thought I could handle everything. Boy was I wrong. Anyway, I never lost the weight until I met DH about 10 years later. I joined WW and lost most of my weight. I had been working out all along but it wasn't until I got sick about 2 years ago, that I decided I really need to take radical steps and clean up my diet. It was about the same time I found Cathe and I was hooked. I can't wait to meet you at the RT!
Katie, I never changed my name after I got married either. I didn't change it for a combination of reasons.
Steph, glad you were able to laugh today. It is so important to laugh every day.
Kate, ^5 on the portion control - hope Gina loses her tooth soon.
Shirl, sounds like you had a busy day today. Hope you can rest this evening.
Robin, hope you had a good day!

Have a good night everyone!

Colleen

Colleen, I love a good t'storm! Tacos are such an easy, healthy meal, aren't they? What did you get sick with? RT is 7.5 weeks away!!! hooray!

Katie, Can I have a truffle too?

Shelley, Your "dinner" sounds yummy AND you hit a ton of food groups/lots of nutrients. Good for you!

Mike and I kind of got into it tonight - ugh. He's really stressed with work stuff and I totally understand but he's been walkng around like a zombie and I let him have it. Probably could've said it nicer - def. could've said it nicer, actually. Thank goodness he's forgiving - but we were both in a much better mood after.

Sleep tight ladies!

Robin, Where ya been all day? No work/CD??
Jenn, We're missing you too! How'd you do today?
