Happy Halloween ladies! We must all be on our game today!

Reminder, there is a challenge going on over in OD for everyone to drink their 64 ounces of water today. If you like, please report your water intake in addition to your menu and workouts!

Decide now how much -- if any -- candy you will allow yourself. Also, what will you do activity-wise to combat the extra calories?
 
Today should be hectic for me. Collin has a party a preschool today, and I am taking candy and cookies and his Halloween costume. The kids all get dressed up and trick-or-treat around the school. Kate, I went to the party at his school last year, and it proved to be a disaster. I am NOT going again!

Wednesday is a busy day at my work, but maybe my day will just go by really fast.

Menu:

B cereal
S half sandwich
L tuna, crackers, banana
S apple slices
D frozen pizza <--------- not clean/tidy, but calorie-wise it is decent

Workout today is Gym Styles C&T (since I *accidentally* slept in yesterday). I will drink at least 64 ounces of water. I will allow myself ONE peanut butter cup, but ONLY because my toddler walks/runs fast, and my neighborhood is hilly, and I will burn some extra calories chasing him around tonight!
 
Good plan Katie walk off those extra calories. I'm glad that the Evil}( candy bag is leaving my house this morning. My kids have to take goodies to school. I hope that they don't bring any home.

Today I did not get up on time so I wasn't able to do the cardio bootcamp/kickbox premix that I wanted to do. I did do the 1/2 kickbox.

I'm going to go home later on in the afternoon and turn out all of the lights hopefully the tricker-treaters will not come to my house. Who am I kidding :+ they come every year.

Good morning girls!

Katie - Peanut butter cups are my Halloween weakness too! They're best frozen. I have some in the freezer right now but have not indulged ONCE! Why was Collin's party a disaster last year? Calories? Noise level? ...Dinner on H'ween is always something like frozen pizza here too. I feel ya!

Robin - I love the Kickbox cardio. I always feel it in my upper back the next day. Do you not take your kids out trick-or-treating? I've never lived in a place where we get trick-or-treaters - I think it would be so much fun.

Well, we're definetly NOT going ANYWHERE tonight. Last night Gina puked all in her bed. Slept in our bed after that and was up several times puking and the other. Yuck. Both the girls are coughing somethin' fierce. I feel so bad for them. Next week we'll trick-or-treat at relatives houses.

My day:
b - 3/4 c. Kashi w/ 1/2% milk, banana
s - not gonna happen. B. was very late. (slept in w/ my girls!)
l - apple, tortilla soup (tomato based, not cheese)
s - ??
d - hamburgers for the fam w/ very lean beef. They'll want cheese on theirs. I'll put my burger over a big bowl of roamine w/ tomatoes and corn.

Workout - not sure yet. I don't want to do anything that will make me too sore to start the new rotation tomorrow! Probably will do some cardio.

Hope you all have a great day. Wish me luck that I don't get this gross bug too! Actually, (half joking) it would be a good way to lose 5 pounds! Well, not a good way, but I'm sure you understand!
 
Wanted to add:

I usually eat a full 1 cup of Kashi for breakfast. I ate 3/4 c. today and I don't feel "hungry" like I need the extra 1/4 c.

I'll try this for a while. It'll be a good way to cut calories in my day without sacrificing nutrition. It's such a filling cereal.

Any thoughts?

Oh yeah, I haven't checked the OD for the water challenge yet, but this is never a problem for me. I think I'm part camel!:p Actually, my bro and I call eachother camel jockey! Our dad's family is Lebanese!
 
Trick or Treat?!

Quick check in. I did Amy's chest, bis & tris, as well as her quick nrg premix from the hi/lo workout. I loved both! My lower body is sore today. I plan on trying the core work later today. I'll post my menu later. I joined the other challenge too. We get about 4 trick or treaters - that's it. We live on a quiet country road.

Happy Halloween clean and tidy friends!!

We had our big halloween show this morning at work, our team won!! I'm so tired, had to get in for 6:30am. We did flashdance, and yes, i was the one on the chair!

Katie, enjoy your PB cup!! The extra energy will be needed, i wish i could stop at only one!

Robin, I'm sure you'll get trick or treaters, they are so cute, especially the little ones.

Kate, i'm sorry about your daughter, especially on halloween. Cleaning puke cant be fun either.

Shirl, what other challenge did you join? I saw the raw food one, is that the one?

Well, i'm going to the chiropractor this afternoon, so i'm hoping to attempt the new bootcamp tonight, its its entirety, adding shoulders work too. I'm alternating one day high intensity with one day lower, Bar, pilates etc, so until i get back to full force!!

I'll post menu later, need to run and actually see patients!!

Kate, so sorry about Gina -- those poor little princesses! Collin's party was a disaster last year basically because it was so hard on him with Mommy coming and going all day.

Today is going well, no milk in my house this am so I ate oatmeal instead (with water) and it was NOT GOOD but edible. Water is going well too.

I had a portion of a cookie that MIL sent to the girls. It was deeelish and I don't feel one bit guilty. I ate so sqeaky clean today and did a great cardio sweatathon.
