Hmmm that looks very simple to prepare have everything but the quinoa another trip to the store ;) Thanks!

So far today I've had my usual get up stuff of coffee with soy milk and pb with my multi grain rice cakes

* protein powder mixed with my oatmeal made with water

I have half a dozen hard boiled eggs just ready for snackage when I feel I need them

I'm really glad I finally received my book as it is putting it all in perspective for me now :)
 
Hi ladies!

I'm a really late posting today. I'm just feeling "blah" today for some reason. I didn't read everything thoroughly but it sounds like everyone is having a pretty good day so way to go!

Last night, I ended up having a handful of peanuts in the shell (the restaurant where our meeting was held is one of those steakhouses that offers peanuts while you wait). Then, I had a wonderful grilled salmon salad with just a dab of fat free dressing but I also ended up having 2 glasses of Chardonnay. Still not too bad, considering.

This morning, I started the day with 2 cups of coffee & a large glass of water. I also did PLB & added the abs from KPC (& even attempted the pikes with my hands on the step... & didn't really do too bad). It was a nice workout. Meals for today:

B - 1/2 c. lowfat cottage cheese & a banana
S - Puffins organic cereal with blueberries, strawberries, & 2% milk
L - Kashi meal & 3 whole grain crackers with Naturally More peanut butter
S - granny smith apple
D - ??? (DH & I are supposed to paint tonight but he's stuck in a meeting right now so I don't know what we'll do)

If my DH is still stuck in a meeting, I may do some yoga when I get home. Maybe that will perk me up. I hope everyone else has a great evening & keeps up the good work!

Chardonney is good for you, Kel }( I think it is fine to have a glass or two every once in a while.

Gosh, everyone is doing awesome, I get quite a few good ideas from everyones menues. The snacks are always a problem for me.

Ok, so here is my day. Didn't work out today - it's starting to become a habit to not work out, darn it! Someone please kick my butt!!

It's just that my house still is a mess, I have been working from early in the morning until late at night and then I get so tired that I fall asleep before I even get to eat dinner. I can't even find my way to the TV, let alone put a step in front of it, I can barely see the floor :) Yes, my DH and kids are terrible, they don't pick up after themselves.

Eating was not bad, but not good either

B Fruit and cottage cheese
S Starbucks Latte
L Mozarella Caprese salad plus 1 slice of garlic bread
S Nada
D Not eating, I am going to bed

Well, at least I didn't overeat :)

See you guys tomorrow, I still will be running around,having a thousand things to do, but hopefully I have a little more time to post.

Hi, all!
Just checking in late--the past few days have been busy. Today I did pretty well--even resisted the cookies in the snack room at VBS! But my dd's birthday is today and we had a birthday dinner of hamburgers and veggies on the grill. Not too bad, but I made her a chocolate/vanilla ice cream cake, and I had a small piece. The recipe for the cake is in this month's Kraft Food and Family magazine. Have you seen it? You use ice cream sandwiches, cool whip, chocolate fudge topping, and crushed oreos. It's so easy and looks so pretty! Anyway, I didn't work out today, but I'm planning to hit it hard at 5:45 in the morning!
I wanted to tell Robin Happy Birthday and many more!! You and my oldest daughter have the same b'day!! Take care.
