~~~~clean-it-up-tuesday~~~~
the 5k has a kids fun run too. the girls want to do it and are so excited! i asked them what they wanted for lunch and gina said "something healthy for my race!' i love it!!!!
Kate: That is so cute about your girls and the race. I want to find a fun run for Mags too. I think she'd like it. I noticed a lot of young girls (10ish) running the race, some of them by themselves! I can't wait until Mags can do that with me.
Klaudia: I think that looks like a really fun rotation- nice that you have a circuit in there once a week. I love that Cathe's June rotation has a circuit week in it.
Colleen: I have mornings like that too but glad you got it done!
Morris: Call that sitter! It will help your stress.
Kids are done at 1 but I always show up early b/c I miss them. :) It's too quiet here!
patti, hug those kiddos for me!:D:D
isabel is kind of nervous bec she's afraid gina will leave her in the dust:(. not sure how to handle that....
Kate, that is wonderful about your next 5k! There aren't a ton here to sign up for, so I'm jealous! Maybe you could fly down in November and run my half with me;)
Anne, you are making my LOL today!
Not enough time to catch up on everyone, sorry, gotta be in court in a few minutes:rolleyes: Geez I hope I'm not there until 530 again!
Hey guys, having a rough day. Don't really know why. Seems like social events should help but instead, sometimes they make things worse. Will explain more later. Going to go wo and hope some endorphins kick in. bbiab
katie, dont tempt me on the 1/2!!!! :eek::eek::eek:
laura found a site that has a ton of 5ks loally all summer! yay!
hope work finishes fast for you!
((((( angie)))))) if its any consolation i think youre doing awesome!!
-
clean eats! yes! nap for j, then pool!!!
all plans off - taking aidan to the doc son i hope:(:( fever spike, fussy.
kate, have fun racing!
angie, big hugsto you.
kl, thanks for the rotation help. i will try something like that next week.
katie, hope your day goes smoothly.
back later
morris, hugs for aidan!!!
deep breaths, no mindless/stress snacking, lots of water!
hope the little slugger gets feeling better!
ps - call a lawn service!
Clean eats! Now just waiting for naptime:)
Patti, my oldest, Danica and I are going to start training in July for a 5k in September at our local zoo. I can't wait! I hope I can stick this rotation out-summer activiites make it more difficult, don't you think?
Kate, you are officially a runner! LOL on keeping it on the down low;) Have fun swimming!
Angie, hope your spirits improve. The workout will definitely help!
Morris, don't stress! He'll be ok. And I agree with Kate-get a lawn service! Trying to mow with two kids is too hard.
Klaudia, Is that at Detroit Zoo? You and Danica will have so mcuh fun! See? No baby lust! Can't do that with a babe!
Klaudia: How fun! I like that it is through a zoo, too. How old is Danica? (I love her name, btw.) Summer does make it difficult to get the WO in- seems like everything is more relaxed.
Angie: Sending you a huge supportive hug and I hope the WO helps. I hope at least that foot improves so you can get a good sweat on- always makes me feel better.
Morris: Oh no! I hope they can give you something to make it go away FAST! I third the lawn service idea.
Eats are good today- protein pancake (the CC, egg white and oats one) and then leftover zucchini lasagna for lunch. No soda in over a week! Yay!
geez louise, j is nursing and sleeping a ton today!:confused::confused::confused:
patti, ^5 on no pop!!!!
klaudia, id love to do that run. checked the link and cant do it.:( its a sunday so we'd miss church. would love to do one w/ you sometime tho!
j's up....finally off to the pool... after nursemax...again!:eek:
Hey girls, WO done and I feel much better! Thanks so much for all the hugs and support. I can't even express how much this group has helped me over the past six months! I did LIS from 4DS and then Core max 2. I was going to do a stretch max seg (we have them recorded from fit tv) but I have to do them in the living room and Ryan was watching tv. Maybe tomorrow. Foot seemed to do fine - felt strange a couple of times but I think it will be OK.
Kate, I'm so impressed with your running! I'm also so jealous. I can't believe you get to do two (or more) 5Ks! Thanks for the hugs and for the wisdom about heavy weights. I'm going to stick with it for 4 weeks and see how it goes.
Katie, good run this morning and stay away from that scale. Hope work is going well today!
Patti, great job with no soda. I've cut it out too - I love it but I find that it causes me to want salty snacks which can't ever be good! Glad you're having a clean day. Your meals always sound so good and yummy!
Klaudia, the run at the zoo with Danica sounds so fun. I've often wondered about the reasons behind your daughters' names! They're all so unique! Your rotation looks fun!
Morris, sorry you are feeling so stressed but I'm going to agree with everyone else and say you get so much more done in a given day than I do. Give yourself some credit. WTG on finishing your run and WO!
Anne, WTG on the 5 miles!!! You're doing awesome. And I agree, no worries on the lawn! I've never cut grass in my life...:eek:
Colleen, I hope your day brightens. I hate feeling exhausted through WOs! Tomorrow will be better!
Hi Robin and Lisa!
Ok, need to find something for dinner. Probably cereal and kiwi.
Goodnight girls, I'll see you in the AM!
Hey ladies
Sorry no check in. I had family buz...we are planning a fam reunion for the 4th of July. Then i took the kids on a drive to Nashville NC shopping center.
I'll try to get caught up.
Sounds like a fun day RObin!
Angie, Gotta love those post-wo endorphins! Glad you're feeling better! Again - I thnk you're doing great! I would NEVER leave the house if I were in your shoes! Keep gettin' out there and making friends! You are such a sweetheart - hate to see you down!
cereal for dinner.... my fave!:D
-
Back from the pool - short trip! The water was too cold to even attempt getting Julia in. And my poor baby is soooo fussy and cranky today.. Not sure what's going on. She's never like this:(. I have nothing in mind for dinner so I might have Mike pick something up. Julia cries and cries when I put her down. Whimpering when I hold her too.... Not very conducive to getting a meal on the table!:confused:
On a positive note I am so looking forward to my run tonight!!!
Quick drive by--busy day here today!
Klaudia, do you want to do the 10K version of the Zoo run? I would be up for that! You have plenty of time to train!
I'm going to do UB, abs, and CUT THE BACK LAWN when I get home tonight. I might just do the UB work from BodyMax2. I think that's cheating because it's so short, but I don't care.
anne
anne, the other night i felt like i cheated bec i only did bm2 ub ... the doms i got told me i def did not cheat! :eek::eek::eek:
good luck w/ the lawn!
Anne: I don't think that's cheating! Just go as heavy as you can and no worries! Plus, the lawn counts as exercise, too. :)
Kate: Maybe a new tooth? Max is always clingy when he gets a new one, plus he is a drool factory. It's been a little chilly for the pool here too. I think it is going to be hot on Friday so I can't wait to fill up our baby pool. I bought funny shaped ice cube trays and am going to dump a bunch of fun ice in there.
Robin: I loooooove shopping! Sounds like a fun day. We are getting new outlets about 20 minutes from our house. I can't WAIT until they are finished.
Angie: Aren't endorphins the best thing ever?! Glad you feel better and that got through a step WO with the foot.
The 10K sounds fun. What?! Am I liking running? I think the 5K went to my head. I think chicken stir fry for dinner tonight. Jeff offered to stop and get something but this will only take 15 minutes or so. Plus, it is YUM good. I love the sauce.
