Morning girls,

It's 7:30 and my kids are still sleeping. We got fans last week to beat the heat and I think the white noise is helping them sleep later. Here's to fans through the whole winter!!!

I didn't get any WOs in all weekend. It sucked. We were up so late both nights with our friends and while I didn't think I was, I apparently drank too much Saturday night and just felt like junk all day yesterday. I'm feeling a bit stuffy this morning but 4DS UB on tap nonetheless. If I'm feeling up to it, might do some cardio later as well... we'll see.

Sorry I was gone all weekend. It's hard to get on the computer with people in your house. I feel like I'm ignoring them.

Ryan and I have decided to start talking to a counselor to work on some issues that we've been dealing with for a long time but have just become more apparent since we moved here. It's nothing serious and we are no danger of splitting up or anything like that - we're just not happy. So, since we live in France... we have to have phone therapy sessions. Should be interesting. Our first one is tonight. I'm not looking forward to it. I think it's always hard to work through junk. UGH.

Anyway, gotta hit the grocery store today and get some clean eats (guests brought taco dip, choco/pb bars, doritos, etc) and get my rear in gear.

Quiet weekend on the boards. Hope everyone had a happy 4th!!

Be back after I take kids to their first day of summer school and do my WO.
 
Morning Angie! YAY for kids sleeping in late - good stuff. Good for you re: therapy - why do people see that as a sign of weakness? I see it as a sign of strength - you are committed to your marriage and you want to make it better. Good for you - not an easy thing to do - or an easy thing to admit. Good luck with clean eats and workouts today!

I am home from the beach - :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Can you tell I am NOT happy? We had such a good time - I mean really, probably the best week at the beach yet. I did not want to come home. And the fireworks on the beach on the 4th were amazing! All the bags are unpacked, laundry is done, groceryMAX is done, house is relatively clean...

I took today off of work so I have one more "home day" to get it together, transition Collin back into the "real world" before going back to our normal routine. We need to pick up the dog from the kennel, do some cleaning, and I want to take Collin to do something fun - not sure what yet.

I am running this morning, and then hoping for some ub later today - maybe PUB. BBL!
 
good morning! i am happy to report i did ub yesterday! got up this am for abs and legs, but i plan to swim later. and dh will be home for dinner! i am thirllled. i am also meeting a friend for lunch. 3 wks from today our packers come. can my house please please sell?

angie, phone conseling sounds a bit more challenging. do you have skype? i like face to face interactions, and i did not know if that was an option. i imagine this will bring you both closer. yea for girls sleeping.

katie, welcome back, and i am so glad you had sucha good vacation. my vacations are usually famiyl oriented and often feel more like work than fun. good for you for taking that extra home day to re group. i think that is essential. have a great run! did you miss your tm?

Morning all. Sorry about being MIA y-day...we were still cooking the left over meats for the 4th July. I had a great time this weekend with my family and friends. No FD either. But I did leave yday around 8 pm b/c Betty the crazy one was on her way.:D


Angie don't worry enjoy your guest. I always think that it's a good idea for couples to have therapy session before and after the wedding. It's good to have a 3rd party who is not biased.

Katie welcome back. I know it's hard to get back to the real world. Maybe you can take Collin to the ice cream spot.

Nina 3 weeks to go and I pray for someone to buy your house. You must be excited.

Kate has he done that w/o before? Or will he be surprise.:D

Can I just say my body LOVES Meso 2?!!! My belly is losing its pooch like crazy! I feel so much leaner. There's def still the I-gained-too-much-when preg-with-Gina sag thing goin' on....but its not nearly so droopy! Mike was commenting on different muscles popping out in my shoulders too. yay! Thank you, Cathe! Eats have been spot-on which I know is a big part of it too.
 
Morning! Jeff is still home today- yay! I did B&G this morning (ouch!) and then we're headed to a park to feed the fish and have a picnic. It should be a beautiful day here. :)

Kate: J likes STS- he is on his last week of Meso 2 and has seen nice gains, especially in his arms. He looks terrific, if I do say so myself! WTG on feeling nice and lean. I hear you on gaining too much pregnancy weight- now I have to deal with the stomach skin aftermath. It probably isn't as bad as I imagine it to be, but still. :rolleyes:

Katie: Good for you for taking an extra day- so happy you had a great vacation. We need one and are thinking next year. I can't wait- feel like we've been having babies and changing diapers since 2005. Oh wait, that's TRUE! :p

Morris: Way to get those WOs in- I will send you house selling vibes. Saw your pic on FB and you are so pretty, btw. :) Did you use your discount at ON this weekend?

Angie: Good for you on counseling- I think it's terrific. I actually think everyone could benefit from it- nice way to work through issues with a neutral third party.

Robin: LOL at the crazy one- glad there was little or no FD.

ETA: We have a noise machine in Max's room- can't imagine life without it! We joke that he will end up taking it with him to college. :)

Nina, are you having fun on Facebook? Do you have people to help you with the kids during the move? Great work out today, as usual. I did go for a bike ride yesterday, which was nice.

Katie, coming home from vacation is such a two-edged sword, isn't it? I'm always happy to be home and sleeping in my own bed, but I miss the relaxation of being away. Enjoy your down time today before going back to work.

Angie, good luck with the counseling. I hope it goes well for you. I agree with Katie, it's not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength. I hear you on not looking forward to it, though. Tell us about it if you want to--if not, no worries!

kate, that is great on the results. sounds like your body likes meso 2 for sure. that is so neat you and dh will wo together after your company is in bed. talk about motivation.

patti, great job with the wo, asnd have fun with the picnic. i hear ya on the babies and pregnancy for sooo many years. we are the same way. i think when aidan is 3 we will start to plan real vavcations again.

anne, glad you got to bike ride. are you condo hunting this week? hope work is short and sweet today.
 
Hi Everyone!

Great news - I checked my body fat the past couple of mornings (I wasn't 100% sure I was doing it correctly) and I lost 2% of my bodyfat doing STS. I am very excited.

I am doing a Kettlebell rotation this month that I created. I hope to really have the hang of doing kettlebells by the end of the month. Today was my cardio day so I did KPC.

Morris, I love the cake all the face picture. I will have to check out fb to see the other ones.
Anne, I think everyone is trying to recover from the long weekend. It is very quiet here.
Patti, sounds like you have a great day on tap. Enjoy!

Robin, good luck with the job search. I don't blame you for leaving before the drama started.

Happy Monday! Glad everyone had a nice holiday weekend:)

The weekend turned out to be pretty fun-weather was great and I ended up wearing my bikini:) Eats, however-omg! Lots of munching. At least I held myself to 1 beer and water. Weight was up 1 pound-not bad for not working out since Thursday and sodium laden stuff for 3 days. Back on the wagon today. I'm going to start a 1 body part/day w/cardio rotation. Today will be GS Chest and a 20 minute incline interval walk on the tm. Eats WILL BE CLEAN!

Angie, my weekend was the same as yours! No working out except to walk down to the beach and back up and a short walk around the subdivision-at least I had to carry Nevena most of the way;) Hope the therapy goes well-it's good that you are being proactive.

Katie, isn't it great to come to a clean house? The dads took the kids to fireworks on the beach-we stayed at the cottage and watched-a bit of piece and quiet:) At least you're workweek is shorter!

Morris, sounds like a good day for you! I totally agree on working vacations-Darrin and I so want an adults only one, with friends. We've never had one as a married couple.

Kate, how long is your company staying? Can't wait to hear how Mike does with B&G! Way to on the definition! I'm looking forward to doing Meso 2 again soon-hope I get similar results:)

Colleen let's see your rotation. Calipers I have one of those it came with cLX.. but I know that I've gain about 1-2# of water weight so I'll wait for a couple of days to use it again.

Kate it's going to be so fun tonight...men have strength but it's something about that "burn feeling" they don't like. Ask him to put on 5# ankle weights....:D

Getting ready to take the rugrats on a nice long walk:) Eats are good-kashi honey sunshine cereal for breakfast and a roast beef wrap with cheese and mustard, pea pods a 1/2 red pepper for lunch:) Will workout at naptime. Last of the laundry's in the dryer and the kids are leaving early I think-not bad for a Monday!

Patti, hope you're enjoying your day. I'd love to have D home on a weekday-feels decadent!

Anne, hope you can get out for a bit-a walk at lunch, maybe? Got a workout planned today?

Hey, Klaudia, I'm going running tonight with my running buddy. She doesn't lift weights, so I'm going to loan her Cathe's Total Body Sculpting. She tried to learn how to lift from a book and that didn't work well for her, so I'm hoping I'll create another fan!

Kate, what book store do you go to? I love them all, of course.

Patti, enjoy the park! It's absolutely beautiful here today, too. Sunny and about 80, just perfect in my book.

Okay, lunch was not pretty, I went to Famous Taco. I can't remember the last time I was there, though, and I did not eat out at all on Saturday or Sunday. I'm pretty sure that's a record for me. I eat something I've not cooked myself at least once a day, usually. I'm just awful about it. But, I was thinking, if I end up moving closer to my office I could go home for lunch. That would be a good way to save money. We'll see. The good thing about stress? Boy, oh boy, does it keep the weight off. I'm tellin' ya, I haven't been this thin since the last time we broke up. It's hard to eat when I pretty much feel sick to my stomach all the time.

Okay, no more negativity! Sorry about that. I'll do better in the future.

Back from our walk-went 2.6 miles in 35 minutes. Should I add on another 20 minutes of something after my chest workout or no?
