CLEAN.IT.UP.MONDAY.FUNDAY

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the late post but it has been a busy day. I got up did Imax 2, ran for 2.4 miles (I got a bad cramp and had to walk a little bit), then off to the dr, grocery store, jean shopping, dry cleaners and home. Now I need to put away laundry do a gentle wash and prep for tomorrow. So much for a relaxing day off. But I didn't do much this weekend so it is my own fault I am so busy today.

Kate, happy birthday to Julia. She is so cute! I am glad she dove into the cake - it's the only time she is going to get away with it.
Katie, sorry about the house. Enjoy your day with your hubby.
Nina, the recovery workouts were good for stretching and max recovery was good with stretches and core. Core Cardio and Balance is an easy cardio workout. It's good if you need an easy day.
Anne, welcome back. Sorry about your iMac but glad you had a good trip.
Angie, good job getting a workout in today. Sorry about the big lunch. One more week - you can do it!!!
Klaudia, sorry about your hypo. Good luck getting back into the groove this week.
Becky, I will have to try those pancakes. Those sounded good.
Robin, you probably need 1 more day of cardio. I am the opposite of you - I burn more doing cardio than weight lifting.

Lisa, you snuck in on me - you can keep it clean! Have a good day at work.
Kate, I hated pushup jacks until month 2 when you do plank punches.

Kate here's the smoothie recipe:

Blueberry/banana smoothie:

3/4 cup plain or vanilla soymilk
1/2-1/2 cup plain yogurt (I used greek)
1/4 cup froz. blueberries
1 frozen banana
1 T. flax seeds
1 pkg. green tea powder
cinnamon to taste
little ice if needed to thicken it up

I just made this up ......to my liking. You can switch it up....leave out the yogurt if you dont' have it or like it, use regular milk, leave out powder or flaxseeds..........whatever !

I just had one and I love 'em !!!! :)

Kate - I have to go check out those pics on the OD. I don't mind the push-up jacks. I hate the globe jumps and suicides, but esp. the globe jumps. I don't know why, but I just hate them. Can you drink green tea while nursing? Are you still nursing J?

Colleen - I do that all the time with days off. I end up running errands and the whole day just passes by. Hope you enjoyed your time off anyway.

Fit test done. Not bad. I improved on all. Not by much. Anywhere between 3-8 more. I also did tris/bis after since the fit test was pretty short. I ended up eating kashi cereal for bfast. A half slice of toast and few bites of banana. Off to shower and leave for work. Bringing my string cheese for snack and ran out of raw almonds so need to go buy more at Costco. Still figuring out lunch. Maybe a avocado veggie wrap from the healthfood store. Hate to spend that much, but it's oh so yummy.

Colleen sometimes you need a day to get everything done and a day of rest.

Home from the doctors and I didn't get lost...mostly. I hate one way streets or streets that goes in one direction 2 way but you can't return home on this street. CRAZY.

p.s. I so miss working in a clinic.:confused:

lisa, great job with the eats sunday and you are off to a good start today. i am really enjoying insanity. it is such a great feeling.

super clean day here. i find myself getting hungry (as opposed to being full all day due to mindless eating:eek:) so that is at least something. clean dinner of ww pasta, chick, and broc. grapefruit for dessert. hope to get a long run in tomorrow am. prob no insanity for me for a few days, but we will see:eek:
 
Robin - OMG, I know what you mean. The streets in town are like that and I get so annoyed trying to figure out which way to go just to get out, lol! Retail getting to you?

Nina - ^5 on a super clean day! Insanity is fun huh? I'm enjoying it as well.

Eats are spot on today! I am so proud to finally say that! I did cave and bought the avocado veggie wrap for $8 :eek: but I figured that it's been awhile so I did. I had raw nuts, pita chips and hummus for snack. Forgot my string cheese. Trying to figure out dinner, but salad is looking like what it will be, but need to find some protein so might add some chix or something.
