Good morning, clean-eating ladies!

No WO today for me - scheduled rest day and boy, do I need it!

b - smart start, grapes
l - grilled chicken salad
d - CRAZY DAY - it's gonna be pizza, but I'll add lots of watermelon and a salad
snacks - I never know lately!

I have a midwife appt this afternoon. I get to go ALL BY MYSELF!!! I'm so exicted!:D

Katie, You're in our thoughts. Hope all is well and things are smoothing out.
 
Thanks to everyone for your hugs and thoughts and kind words. It really really means a lot.

Okay, so I need to finish up the last week of my rotation. The next workout on my rotation is GS Legs, but I am feeling like I need some cardio. So this morning I am going to do 4DS KBX and then the first half or so of GS Legs. I may add some of the floor work later when I get home, but I won't sweat it if it doesn't happen.

I found a treadmill on Craigs List that someone is selling for $100 and we are going to look at it this weekend. I am so excited!!

No clue on the menu -- sorry!!

Kate, you deserve a rest day. Pizza sounds amazing, i think a couple colleagues are coming over Saturday night and we're going out for pizza, the authentic wood oven kind... and gelato, hold me back!!

Katie, thinking about ya. Good plan for today, i love 4D kbx, i need to dust that bad boy off soon.

Hi to everyone! Robin, i'm so glad you're settling in well.

Tomorrow i have the home appraisal, the day i've been dreading, so i am not going into work. This is what determines if i will be able to keep my home or not. I'm freaking out!

Tonight, i think i'll do SWAT/some HIIT add on and sore core work. I have to cut the grass as well, lots to do. Work has been very busy.

Menu:
B: egg whites/oats
s: quark/pp/almonds
l: corn soup, celery, hummus, apple
s: cc/sprouted flax/pb
d: spinach and tomato salad, i think i'm going to do like an egg white pancake, an ezekial wrap and put some PB on that! and some SF maple syrup!

It's raining outside and the temp is down to 70. That is pretty cool considering it's been around 90.

Steph good luck with the home appraisal. Just reading your post made my heart rate jump b/c I had such a hard time with the house I used to live in.

Katie it sounds like you are feeling better. Good going with your w/o plans.

Good Morning Everyone!

So last night DH came home and there weren't any parking spots on the street so he parked in the driveway (we have a 1 car garage and a driveway. my car goes in the garage). So I am leaving for work and see his car parked behind mine. I was really pissed about having to move it. I move and head off to work where I pass this horrible accident on the side of the road that just happened. And I am thinking to myself - if I didn't have to move DH's car I probably would have been in that accident. Scary.

Kate, enjoy your rest day. Hope your midwife appt goes well.
Katie, good luck on the treadmill. I really want to get one but I don't want to start looking until I save the $. Maybe in the Spring I will be ready to get one.
Steph, have a good workout today. You will need it to carry you through tomorrow.
Robin, I really need to start STS. Maybe tonight I will have time to map out a schedule to get it done. My only concern is what if I can lift more by the time STS comes out? Are you worried?

That is interesting Colleen and I'm glad that you had to move your husband car. I guess we have look at all things as a blessing.

I'm not really worried about be able to life heavier by the time STs get here because the first month is endurance so we will be using very lite weights then we will gradually move up each month. So even if I can bench press 50#;).. my strength will decrease in the first and second months b/c we will be using lighter weights.

The 1RM is the max amount of weight you can handle for 10 reps, like 20# DB for bicep curls. But the 20# DB for bicep curls we will never use in this system because we will only go up to 80-90%. That 20# DB is 100%.

Can you believe we ordered the STS in January? Time is flying.
 
Morning everyone,

I'm really tired today for some reason and my body is just sore. I'm not sure if I should take my rest day today or not. Probably not since I didn't work out over the weekend. I'm sure I'll be fine once I wake up. Or maybe I'll just do it this afternoon or something.

Kate, let's see if you can hold to that no workout thing. :) Have fun at your appt!

Katie, hope your are doing well. The treadmill sounds exciting. I hate to run though so I would prefer an elliptical. Good luck with your WO today. I think that was my biggest problem with P90X - it didn't incorporate enough cardio and then I felt like I had to add it in after already doing a 60 min workout...

Steph, I hope the appraisal goes well. I'm sorry it's another stress factor for you. Enjoy your pizza today.

Robin, it's so good to have you back. The playdate was good. I just randomly met this lady at the pool who was french and so I struck up a conversation with her. I think it will be a good way to gently introduce my kids to french.

Colleen, kind of freaky about the car. I've had things like that happen before. It's hard - just reminds us to slow down sometimes!

Okay, so my goal was to do Imax 2 today and I probably still will just most likely this afternoon rather than this morning. It's only the Fit TV version so it's a little easier than I imagine it is in real life.

No clue on menu. Need to figure it out. Have a great day all!

Just stuck on a conference call so I thought I would check in. Has anyone seen the workout manager? It has pictures of the DVD's on the calendar. It looks really good.

Robin, good point about STS. I figured I just need to start and if it changes I can adjust in the middle of STS.
Angie, the FitTv version is easier. I don't think it has the plyojacks in it. I used to do the FitTv version and then bought the DVD. I didn't make it through.
Kate, hope your appt goes well. Hopefully you get some protein for dinner.
 
Eek! Took the girls to Red Robin for lunch. Had a 1/2 a turkey wrap and some of their fries - they are so good. Definitely need to do Imax now. Kids are upstairs watching movie... time to get on it!
 
Imax 2 done. Colleen, I'm scared of the full version. The Fit TV does have the plyo jacks and the plie jacks. I'm a sweaty mess. I suppose it's a good way to work up to it though. ;)

Kate, how was the midwife appointment? Woman! you haven't gained weight, you're gorgeous. Rest day today was needed.

Angie, good for you for Imax2, didnt mean to rhyme there. Its a goodie, and work up to what you can do, we only can get better right.
