Hi everyone!
Phyllis - I think you made a great choice, considering your options. Keep up the good work!
Shelley - Sounds like you have a great menu & workout planned. Let us know what you end up eating for snack #1... I'm always looking for new ideas.
Wendi - You could have made a much worse choice than raisins so good job feeding that sweet tooth with dried fruit!
Lorie - Hope your tummy feels better soon.
Cody - I know what you mean about getting to bed earlier, although I never seem to do it either. We do no wrong when we're asleep, right?
Stephanie - I like Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Xtreme but I don't have anything else by her. Try to stay warm in that crazy weather you're having.
Gayle - Day 8... great job! Glad you're seeing results... I'm inspired!
Bceogirl - I almost tried that new Starbucks drink over the weekend too... sounds yummy. Oh, I ate plenty of other unclean stuff to make up for not ordering it... which is why I'm here - LOL.
Patty - I agree with you about everyone's menu... & yours sounds good too.
Shirl - Oh, that omelet sounds good. Enjoy!
Carola - I'm the same way as you about my cheat meals/days... that's why I take the weekends off. Otherwise, I think I'd go bananas (mmmm... bananas).
Tneah - Good job avoiding the PMS sweet tooth. A sandwich with light wheat bread was a much better choice. BTW, I can totally relate to what you're going through right now.
Hi Carrie & Jess!
Thanks everyone for the egg white ideas - I never would have thought of that myself.
I didn't sleep well last night... I think it must have something to do with this time of the month. So I'm running on about 4 1/2 hours today... oh well. Anyway, my morning started out with 2 cups of coffee & a large glass of water. My workout was IMAX 2.
Meal 1: Nonfat yogurt with about 1/2 c. Kashi cereal mixed in
Snack: Whole Banana
Water with Green Tea to Go (is this stuff bad/unclean?)
Meal 2: Kashi organic frozen dinner (is this okay?)
Water
Snack: Apple with Naturally More peanut butter
(Maybe some dry Kashi cereal if I'm still hungry)
Snack (when I get home): Almonds
Meal 3: Large mixed greens salad as described y-day
(Option #2: Grilled veggies with chicken breast or salmon)
I'm not sure I'm eating enough... what do you ladies think? Oh, I eat when I'm hungry but try to make healthy choices. I always keep extra yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, pretzels/crackers, & dried fruit around in case I get hungry so I can always add something if you ladies think I need it. TIA for any advice you can offer.
Wishing everyone a healthy day!
