I thnk we're eating out tongiht but will get grilled chicken salad I'm sure. It's not really MEALS that are hard for me to eat clean - it's mindless afternoon snacking and PC on leftover desserts.
Going out shopping for new clothes for an outdoor fam pic on Saturday. I need to come up w/ a color of shirt I can match for all of us. And I need to find a little jean skirt for Julia!:D

Hey girls,

Busy morning here. Had to get Anna to school early for her french lessons and then I had some ladies over for coffee this morning. Picked up the girls and now we're finishing up lunch and then going to read our book of the month. My MIL provides me with 6 months worth of books for each kid so on the first of each month, we open a new book. I love it - it's like our own little library.

I am supposed to do Max Recovery today but I didn't sleep well so I didn't get up with Ryan. I think I will do it after I take the girls to school. We have counseling tonight so can't do it tonight.

Kate, good luck with your fit test. The push up jacks are ridiculous but he adds some even crazier ones in during month 2 that are just beyond my capabilities. Thanks for the recipe. Do you think I can use regular oats. Not thinking I can find SC oats here.

Robin, have a good day at work - be a good girl! I hear you on sleeping in on cool mornings! I'll have to check out Cathe's rotation.

Morning!

Yesterday was a long day-I spent 5 hours at the funeral home with my friend:( I did manage to do MM upper before I headed out. And I also managed to eat 3 bagels! I was starving for some reason. At least they're all gone! They're having another short ceremony at the funeral home today. Is it bad that I'm not going to go? Nevena has school and I'd have to have my dad pick her up and stay with her again and he's coming to help me on Saturday so I don't want to bother him. And I really need to grocery shop-bad. Lame excuses, I know. My workout will either be legs or cardio or both a la Plyo Legs:)

Kate, jeans and black sweaters looks nice. ON had cute baby denim skirts:) I cannot wait to make that recipe-when do you put it in the crockpot? Good luck with the fit test!

Robin, I'll have to check out the October rotation. I've been winging it for the past month. I can sleep all day when it's cool out too. It was 39* here this morning!

Morning ladies, it seems as though I am missing so much not getting here very often. Sorry.....

Meals were clean yesterday, snacks...not so much (many of you read that my DH had warm, gooey cookies delivered to my office yesterday!).

Today I ran 4.5 miles, and I think I will do some HIIT on the treadmill in the morning. Saturday I am going to take a class at the wellness center called "Deep Definition"

I'll try to peek in at lunch time!

i did not want to get out of bed, but i did and did an awesome sprint wo. breakfast was clean, and i am ready, albeit grudgingly, to face my day. meeting another vet this am, but i am not optimistic. hope to volunteer this sunday at the animal er. i also need to follow thru on my substitute teacher application. bbl!

I would think reg oats would be ok. It actually was a bit dry for my taste - I would either add more milk or cook for less time. BUt the reg oats would need a shorter cook time then the sc.

Klaudia, It sounds ridiculous, but I set the alarm for 3:30am and tripped my way to the kitchen to put the crockpot in the holder.:eek::eek::eek::eek: I had it all in the pot rady to go.
You're a good friend! I don't think anyone wil fault you for not going today after 5 hrs yday!

Nina, We previewed the fit test but I don't think we will on the others. Mike is really nervous!:p He has ZERO cardio knowledge so form will be hard for him.

Hey girls,

Just finished max recovery. I'm convinced it's a misnomer. It's a workout! Lots of push ups, lots of plank work. My shoulders are hurting at the end. Not to mention my poor obliques.

Kate, LOL about getting up in the middle of the night. We'll have to see what I'll do for that. I want to make it and I think Ryan would like it. What is a serving size? What do you think would get me about 300 cals?

Nina, glad you had a good run this morning. Great job meeting your goals yesterday and good luck with your meeting today! How is Finn?

kate, you said that apple oatmeal came out a bit dry... do you suggest more milk or less oats? also curious what kind of sweetener you used and how much. i have white and brown sugar, honey and dark agave but no fake sugars or light agave (cant seem to find!). good luck with your fit test tonight! i love that you and dh are doing it together! i did get to the market but only for a few things, REALLY need a big trip with dh/the car.

angie, ive been wondering the same about sts abs... where are you in france again? what is the weather normally like? when i visited avignon it was so freaking beautiful i wanted to stay forever!

klaudia, i cant imagine its expected you would attend again, even for a close friend. plyo legs, go for it! i am living vicariously thru yall because my knees cant take plyo right now. so frustrating -- sometimes i think if my body were working "properly" i could take this wt off faster!

WOs: yesterday did group power at the gym (like bodypump, one part per song). that was awesome and def will do again. i dont have a barbell at home and it was great to use one for squats, deadlifts, etc. today was 45min random hill setting on the bike and then abs with a med ball. id like to stretch again tonight if time. reno progress...we have a working shower and toilet, tiles completed, wainscot (sp?) up. time to clean up and prime and paint. need to decide on color ASAP, dh gets cranky when he has to wait for me! pics soon, promise!

b - luna bar, banana, coffee
l - chicken, fatoosh, hummus in a pita
s - tea, love my hot tea in the fall, with milk like the brits =) and cheerios from JJs snack trap, lol.

tonight is paint max, no idea whats for dinner, if its takeout wish me luck...
 
wendy, you are so good with personals. now, what is fattosh? what was your dinner? as for weights at the gym, i did 3 sets of chins and dips, some flys and tris, and bis and shoulders. bsaically 2-3 diff exercises epr body part with 2 to 3 sets per each. i mainly used this cybex pully/cable thing b/c i cannot mimic it at home. i am doing a rotation of 3 total ub days a week - endurance type stuff. how was your bike ride?

angie, good job getting your wo in. so far so good with finn - thanks for asking.

very discouraging day with job stuff. one veterinarian told me i'd never find work if i could not work until at least 6pm. dh does not want a nany, and truthfully neither do i! but, i cannot just workuntil 5 so it seems. eats went well today, and i got my wos in. hope to hit the beach with the boys in the am. major pms cravings, but i controlled it with a piece of dark choc and an extra yummy apple! bbiam
 
Kate - Sounds like you and I have the same issue with eating. Meals are easy for me to eat clean, but the snacks and sweets is a whole different story. Have fun with Insanity!

Nina - I previewed a couple of them, but the others I just did it. No fancy choreography like Cathe's so I didn't feel the need to preview them. Sorry about the job situation.

Angie - How fun with the books! What kind of books does your mil send over? Any good ones you read lately that you would suggest?

Did Insanity this am. Eats are not that great. Had ice cream yesterday and some dark chocolate today. Meals are just fine, it's the snacking...ack! I did get two more comments about looking skinnier though and my weight is still down. I'm not going to dwell but just move on. Anyhoo, I'll be back later with better personals. Gotta get some work done.

We took before pics from front, side and back. YIKES, is all we gots to say 'bout THAT!:eek::eek::eek::p We took measurements all over - hoping for major improvements there!

Eats were mostly on track. Had Chinese for dinner and Insanity reminded me. *burp* gross.......:p Note to self - no Chinese for dinner on this rotation.

Wendy, How did dinner go? What color are you painting the bathroom?
Probably go less oats - it makes A TON and it's not like you can freeze the leftoves andmaintain quality. And I'm the only one who eats "that kind of stuff", as Mike puts it!:p Well, Julia will eat it but it's not like she can really put it away! I used white sugar. Brown would be extra yummy!

Nina, So sorry about the job situation. The right thing will come along. WTG resiting cravings!

Lisa, Oh ,how I would love some IC right now to coat my sick Chinese belly.:(

Well I tried to post like 4 or 5 times today but kept getting interrupted. I hope tomorrow is better. I am exhausted right now and my throat is sore. I hope it is allergies but I don't think it is. Anyway, have a good night and I will catch up with everyone tomorrow.
