Clean Eating Check-in - Nov. 11/05

Good morning healthy ladies;)

Yesterday went well, except I was far too tired last night to make a proper dinner, so I had cereal and half a high fibre pita with pb.

Today's menu is:

B - steel cut oats with soy milk and raisins
S - apple and half WW English muffin with pb
L - brown rice with beans, spinach and tomatoes, lf yogurt
S - cottage cheese and pineapple
D - ?? - maybe ww pasta with tons of veggies

The weekend is here. Which means I will have way too much access to food:p Let's hope it leaves me alone.
 
Howdy gals,
Yesterday was OK, but that one small piece of chocolate keeps calling it's siblings for a get together in my mouth. I stopped the party at about 4.
Today:
B - cereal w/ soy milk, banana
L- veggie soup w/ half turkey sandwich on whole wheat, apple, carrots
D - broiled talapia, broccali, something w/ potatos (since they were on sale at store yesterday and I bought WAY too many)
S - grapes
64-80 oz water
Did HSC yesterday, today is a rest day.
Eat clean y'all.
 
This morning started the same as yesterday!!

*Hot water with lemon and honey, 1/4 cantalope
*2 hours later, bagel with soy cream cheese...BIG glass of water
*Vegan carob protein shake made with soy milk and a blop of peanut butter
*Lunch-Lentil/brown rice stew
*Snack-edamame
*Dinner-Friday night is homemade pizza night!! Whole wheat crust with sauce, basil leaves, green onion, plum tomatos, green pepper and turkey pepperoni with soy cheese-with 2 beers (it IS Friday!)
 
Clean eating is basically eating food in as close to its natural state as possible. So, for instance, an apple instead of apple sauce or apple pie:) Lean meats, whole grains, brown rice instead of white, lots of fresh veggies prepared without sauces, no refined flours and sugars, water instead of soda. I'm sure you get the idea. If you do a search on the forums under "clean eating" you'll find lots of threads that talk about it:)

If you keep an eye on this thread, you can get ideas from what other people are eating.
 
Hi Girls,

Shelly, I get like that sometimes.To lazy to make something to eat and I just pour myself a bowl of cereal or something.Why cook if I am the only one home? Besides...I LOVE breakfast food.I could eat breakfast for every meal 27/7

Today as went like this for me:

B-Cereal and skim milk
Workout- 50 min run, bic and should
L-Cup of noodle soup,yogurt and 1/2 egg sandwich
S-Tiny piece of fudge:eek:
D- is gonna be chicken breast,rice and broccoli:9

Hi everyone,

Well I thought I was doing pretty good.I realized I am eating red hots as I type.:(

1. protein shake
2. grilled teriyaki chicken breast w/veggies & rice (went to lunch with co-workers and enjoyed every bite.

I have no idea what the rest of the day looks like.
