Clean Eating Challenge Dec 7, 2005

I did excellently yesterday, if I do say so myself. I usually get off track on my days off from work, but not yesterday. I made three batches of cookies, and managed to get them all frozen without tasting a one.
Today:
B-cereal w/ blueberries and soy milk, banana
L-kashi pilaf with kidney beans and tomatos, carrots, apple
D-BBQ chicken and black bean burritos, salad
S- fruit, 1 small piece chocolate
lots and lots of water
Lotster and lotser of coffee
Got up early and did a nonCathe (gasp)cardio
Who's up next?
 
Good lord. I bow down before you. Three batches of cookies and you didn't even eat ONE? Wow. I'm impressed:)

I did okay yesterday, but my dinner was very unsatisfying, so I ended up eating a chocolate and about 4 potato chips.

Today:

B - cereal with banana and soy milk, 1 small slice soy/flax toast with pb and rest of banana
S - lf yogurt and pear
L - homemade lentil and bean risotto/soupy kinda stuff my SO made last night, toasted 12 grain baggle
S - 2 graham wafers, grapes
D - egg whites with veggies
 
B-cardboard (my new ceareal sucks!!)about to have egg whites instead
s-apple and pb
l-turkey,sprout,hummus wrap on ww tortilla
s-celery and carrot sticks
d-okra, tomatoes and ground turkey over brown rice

Sounds like we are all back on track today. Jes-your dinner sounds wonderful.

1. protein shake
2. egg whites w/tomato & steel cut oats
3. 2 boca burgers & vegetable soup
4. apple
5. chicken & veggies

Why doesn't the good-for-you-food taste as good as the bad?
 
I finally did halfway decent all day today, so thought I would post it.

before workout: bagel energy bar, 1/2 container of yogurt
after workout: ww english muffin w/ pb
lunch: kale soup, iced tea
snack:chocolate/banana protein shake
dinner: ww wrap with chicken, artichoke hearts, hummus and spinach, cranberry applesauce
snack: apple
 
well, my plans changed! i never did finish breakfast, i wasn't hungry for lunch and i got taken out to dinner, so i'll make today's plan tomorrow night:)

for dinner i had tenderloin, salad, miso soup, grilled zuccini and a few shrimp. OH! and several spoonfulls of fried rice:)

L: whole wheat pasta with pesto and parmasean
D: protein shake and an apple w/pb
S: slice of cheese
