So I took it upon myself to check the dress code of this function-the lady on the phone said "dressy casual". So pants or skirt and a sleeveless top or dress? What say you ladies before I head out to find something?

Morris, sorry for the crummy day. How's the eating? Did you right the ship? We'll miss you on your workdays, too Mean boss!

Colleen, my dad is always one number off from winning the lottery-poor guy. I agree with your advice about exercise being good for you, but in my house it's the reverse-my mom is 52 going on 80 and my MIL is 64 going on 40! I hope my mom's surgery helps her get back on track with her health.

Holy purchase Kate! Darrin told me not to be surprised if he came home with a tv from Costco when he went the other day-I told him NO! He just got a pay cut and we have perfectly functioning tvs-guys and their impulse buys!

righting my day, but different luynch - low carb wrap, hummus, broclislaw, edemame. it was good and filling. more cals than soup, but i will have that tonight!

klaudia, go for the skirt and a beautiful top - silky or shiny or see thru

kate, yeah on the lunch. i cannot portion control cliffs - i could eat 3 no prob.

going to stretch before i fall asleep on my feet - why am i more tired after a good nights sleep? dh called - i love that man!!!

Angie sometimes we all need to have a pity party. I'm not disappointed about not seeing big results from meso 1 because it is endurance. My body responds to heavy weight work and a very clean (NO CHOCOLATE) diet.LOL

Morris maybe you can take a little walk to wake up. I always get sleepy around mid day.take care of your foot pain.

Klaudai dressy casual now that's hard. I say a black dress.

Kate as long as the gun has a safety lock on it, let him have his toys.

colleen I only play lotto in a group. I guess I don't really have that type of fever. I know people who play lotto before they pay their rents.

Quick drive by. I'm just back from lunch and the dentist. What genius made my dentist appointment at 1:30 in the afternoon? Oh, that would be me. It was fine, but I didn't eat what I wanted at lunch because I was worried about my breath. I had a labanee sandwich that had mint in it and rice and lentil soup. It was yummy, but I think I'm hungry again already.

Morris, I'm glad your dh called! And that you love him.

Robin and Colleen, I buy lotto tickets on impulse when I have a dollar or two in change at the store.

Kate, lol on Mike's gun. I say, let him have his toys if they help him relax during his time off.

Klaudia, I'm with Robin, black dress. Always classic. Or navy blue. Something simple, but elegant. You can't go wrong.

Angie, that's so funny that Ryan's grandparents live so close to that aquarium! I hope you have fun tomorrow.

Katie, are you buried in paperwork today?

im glad your hub has re$traint. mine does not.

robin, he keeps his "big guns" out of the kids way. he has me trained up on a loaded small one that has a fingerprint entry. pretty cool!!
im looking forward to non-endurance too....

morris, good job at lunch. makes more sense to have more cals in the day anyway...you're prob busier in the day than night.

anne, i make m's appts at 4pm so he can come home early afterwards!
i hate an unsatisfying meal. leaves you craving other stuff even when you know you shouldnt be.

kate, you have the store called the fresh market near you? i went to those in florida - so lovely. i go nuts in the bulk sections. we do not have those here - sigh. enjoy your stretching.

klaudia, semiformal or dressy casual in maine is misleading - it means wear your nicest fleece no, but seriously, this is a casual place. i usually end up in black pants. i once went to a function with dh, went normal dress casual, and was so over dressed. ah well. what did you get?

robin, i ended up doing some floor work and stretching and it woke me up.

so, no meal was as planned, but i did love those wraps i had (had another for a snack) i tried to take the kids out for a walk, but it was way too cold for finn to sit still. i ended up chasing him around with the dog and aidan on my back. they had a great time. then we went to a place that has coffee and has a train set for kids to play with - finn played and i had an adwalla bar and a hot tea. it ruined my dinner so i just had asparagus anyways, i am taking my lonely self to bed with a book. will wake up and "hopefully" have no foot issues. i am not in any pain, it just feels funny, like i notice it. well, i will just see how i feel tomorrow and take it easy. remind me of that in the am please. no checkins for me until maybe lunchtime opr after dinner. Hi to Angie, Colleen, Robin and Katie.

Very productive this evening. I got the towels washed (just towels are a load of laundry at my house, even though there's only two of us). Did Timesaver #3 (probably my favorite because it has the first two segments of Step Blast, then you get to work biceps and abs). I cut my fingernails did some personal grooming (think bikini wax) and had dinner. Okay, dinner was cheese and crackers and 2 kiwis, but still.

I realize cutting my fingernails should not warrant reporting here, but you have to understand that I HATE cutting my fingernails. I like my nails long, so it's traumatic for me when I have to cut them all down short because one is broken or snagged or whatever. I totally get that from my mom. She has these amazing nails that just grow. When I was a kid she could give herself a perfect manicure in 5 minutes. And it never seemed to chip or anything. So if anything did happen to one of her nails it was a big deal. But, having short nails does make typing easier!

Okay, I'm either gonna read or play spider solitaire until Jim gets home. See you all in the morning.

Morris, Never heard of that store. <y fav is Horrocks and its a local place. TONS of produce - I could spend all day there!
I always tell Mike "Better to be overdressed than underdressed" Excpet for , well, you know!

Anne, My nails are a ragged mess! I never take the time to care for them properly! Unless you count the "tooth manicure" while I'm nursing!

No stretching here - but I got a fantastic amount of cleaning done! that's almost as rewarding!
