Morning girls,

Just finished 40/20 (WOWZA!) and abs from CTX all step. I really like that workout. I kept up on most intervals but the butt kick rhythm got me and by the time she got to the double leg jumps I was wiped so I was one leg hopping. I figured it was better than nothing! Gotta shower and get the girls up. Going to coffee this morning.

Last night Annabel's alarm was at 9:45 and then at 2. Not bad. Hopefully it's getting better!

I'll be back later for more personals but wanted to echo Klaudia's MUAH from last night. I love this group!!!

Nina (and anyone else interested), here is my rotation. It is in workout manager. You'll see my pretty little picture/name. I didn't put abs in but I am doing them this week and the other CTX week on cardio days. During the full body weeks I will do them on weight days. I had to split it up into a couple posts because it's too long.

Angie, glad that the sleep interruptions were fewer and further between last night. Your rotation looks awesome!!

Confession: I did not workout yesterday like I said I was gonna! [GASP] I just didn't feel like it. #1, I was in a funk, #2, I was having cramps (which I suspect to mean ovulation sometime very soon). And then I had to get to bed early so I could BD;)

So remember this whole "Baby Bootcamp" concept? Well, Chris and I are both still watching what we eat. And with the exception of yesterday, I am ramping it up with my workouts. But we have officially decided NOT to wait a month. We both know it may take several cycles for us to get pg so we are going ahead with it. If God wants me to have a baby AND an extra 5#s, then so be it!:D

Can I just say how much I love this check-in? I love it because we check-in with every aspect of our health-mental, emotional, and of course physical. It's not just about what workout we did or how many reps, etc. We truly care about each other. You ladies are amazing! Mwah!

I want to echo Klaudia's sentiment from yesterday. What an incredibly supportive group of women we have here. We all know we are here because eating is/has been a challenge for us, but today I challenge you to think about other aspects of your life (work, marriage, kids, etc.) and think of some ways that you would like to "Clean & Tidy" up those areas!

Gotta get my sweat on -- bbiab!!

Katie, I'm excited for your TTC journey! I hope it's a quick one for you! Part of me wishes we were TTC, the otherpart of me is glad we're waiting. I want to enjoy the summer not preg. Maybe in the fall......if at all. Julia's such a good baby - we'd be ending on a high note for sure if she were our last.

Good morning !

It's our Monday. I can't complain though. We had a good , productive long weekend.

Today is one of the HiiT workouts, but I REALLY feel like step. I'm thinking of subbing Athletic Step, which I've only done once and really am anxious to try again. We'll see.

This is most definitely a wonderful group of women ! So much support and friendship is found right here !!! GROUP HUG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (((((((((ladies of C & T ))))))))))))))))):D

Becky, if your rotation calls for hiit but you feel like step, why not do something like an IMAX instead - best of both worlds.

WO this morning was HiiT 30/30 then ~20 minute walk/jog. Tonight will be disk 4 (yesterday's workout) and abs - need to catch up!
 
awwww sweet, i miss a day and come back to a love fest =) yes, you ladies are amazing. and i know we come from different "places" in many ways and that makes it all the more awesome.

sorry about yesterday, i did read but never had time to post personals. JJ started getting sick yesterday and he is full on cold this morning. i woke up achy today with a tickle in my throat, BRING ON THIS COLD QUICK before disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yikes. i also have a lot of feelings about whats happening in haiti and find myself constantly drawn to the news coverage, which doesnt help me at all. i am trying to find my happy place and not feel like a horrible person for continuing on with my life and going on vacation, etc.

did work out yesterday even tho no gym (no babysitting with a sick kiddo) and with dh home. that is a big accomplishment for me right now! kate, you inspired me to pull out ellen so i did fat burning fusion. it is not killer cardio but the large ROM and constant flowing 4 limb moves do get my heart rate to decent place. and i have DOMS in my inner thighs! there are a gazillion plie squats... so not bad. i followed with abs and stretch from squeeze. eats werent bad. we also did a little food shopping and then managed to sneak out for a quick bite sans bebe while MIL was here.

becky, glad you had a productive weekend! we are also in cleaning/decluttering mode currently. sucks but it FEELS.SO.GOOD when its done =)

katie, yippee for TTC!!! go for it! i dont think 5# will affect your ability to concieve (or your pregnancy) at all. you have given me some food for thought re clean/tidying up other areas of my life... will get back to you today on that =)

angie, your rotation looks awesome! good luck with the alarm thing. i think you have more patience than me, i just did the wake him up to pee thing so it was on my schedule, lol. ods eventually just grew out of it.

yes, there is oatmeal again inmyhouse, life is complete =) off to have some and make a latte too...
 
ohhh wendy, a latte sounds awesome. can you make me a decaf skim please?:D ikwym re hati. i would like to go down there and just help. but instead i have my regular cushy life. i feel selfish and uninvovled. it is an unimaginable tragedy.

becky, i agree with katie - do an imax or a premix from bm2 to get the benifit of everything.

katie, i think ttc is great to start now. i was so sad when we started with finn and it took so long for it to happen. looking back, i can see our journey, but at the time, it was just really hard. and wtg listening to your body.

kate, great job with your wo last night.

klaudia, thanks for the lovely sentiments. i agree wholeheartedly.

so, confession time - my eats got way to snack happy yday afternoon. i am very disappointed in myself, despite the fact they are clean. i feel very bulky these days:( all i can do is try again today. started my morning with a great 9 miler. this afternoon i need to do ub weights. bbiab

About Haiti, yes, I feel it too. Guilt for going on with life as usual , with all it's comforts.
I have a friend who is a missionary there ....with her husband and 2 kids and they are sleeping on the ground. She wrote the other day (spotty internet service for her) that she was so lucky that she got to sleep that night on the back of a truck and it was so wonderful !:(:(:( Unimaginable, what they are all going through there.

Wendy - feel better ! When I feel a cold coming on , I start with ZipFizz , or Airborne right away . I believe it helps !

Klaudia you are so sweet. This is a great support system and it's free unlike the others. I like the advice and articles. we are a very respectful, nonjudgmental group of ladies. I think you ladies understand why I workout more than my family.

Katie I say go for it, why wait a month anyway. I usually drop 5-8 pounds in my first tri.

I would love to clean and tidy up my spending. I'm such an impulse buyer:eek:. And I'm teaching my kids those bad habits. The good news is that I don't use CC instead I use DC. This year I want to go old school and use cash for small purchases. This way I can see where my money is going. I'm going to get a Walmart debit card for my DD so she can lean how to use it wisely....and that money doesn't grow on trees.

Kate 40/20 was my fav HIIt because it was easy to do low intensity.

I just want to echo Klaudia's sediments and say you guys are the best. It so great that everyone supports everyone else.

Today's workout was Hiit Pyramid, Bodyrock.tv fat blaster & butt workout 1 and the rest of Step Moves. Ran out of time for abs so I will try to do that tonight.

Katie, I am glad you are TTC now! I hope it happens quickly!
Robin, glad plan giving DD her own debit card to manage her $. I think too many kids think that money grows on trees and then get into trouble later in life.
Becky, great job on all the cleaning yesterday.
Wendy, sorry about the colds in your house. I hope they clear up before disney!

kate, i missed you earlier, oops! ikwym about J "helping"... mine likes to unfold baskets of clothes, pull everything out of drawers, etc, but at least he's cute while doing it =) ods likes to shove his stinky cross country clothes under his desk or bed where i cant see them, but CAN smell them, not so cute, lol.

nina, dh got me the espresso machine for the holidays, best gift ever! i think $50 at aafes and makes great stuff, really makes my morning feel "special" lately -- go grab one from your closest BX!

becky, great workout! i still cant get through the 2nd half of imax2 and of course have to modify all the jumping moves. but love the music in that one!

interestingly, i dont hold it against others who can go abt their day to day and not seem obsessed with what is going on the world. i actually feel envious of that, i need to be able to compartmentalize a little more.

a friend is lending me her lotte berk method discs - anyone ever try these? she is a pilates and yoga instructor and NOT a cathe fan at all, its just not her kind of exercise. she has a huge collection of yoga, pilates, barre, etc and i am looking forward to trying something new. it is fascinating that some ppl (like her) can get/stay fit never doing intense cardio. i just don't think thats ME. and of course i also have all 4 TLTs and eoin finns PYFH sitting on my shelf i havent done yet, just add the LBMs to the list, lol...
 
robin, thanks for the well wishes. JJ is snotting everywhere, lol, but he is behavinglike his normal self so it cant be that bad and just have to hope it doesnt get worse! do you have to work today?

colleen, your menu sounds great yet again. i love ellies recipes,need to go get the food you crave form lib again. im on a list of like 50 waiting for so easy!
 
Angie did you find a proctor yet? I hope so.

Wendy you are welcome. Do you use saline sprays for the nose...my kids use to hate it. Can you let us know how lotte berk method is.

Colleen the best part of my DD dc is that she has to pay for her cell phone bill and hair care products. Less stress on me and she will lean how to budget.

Wendy, hope you and jj feel better. The Haiti coverage can just bring me to tears at points – it is so heartbreaking. I never tried those workouts, but I do like doing pilates-based type exercises. I can’t lose weight doing that type of wo either, but I like the way they work the muscles differently.

Nina, yes, it is another day! Great start with the run!

Robin, good plan for the finances!

Becky, what your friend is doing is wonderful. Good choice for cardio - I love that wo!

Another drive by--sorry. I will do my best to catch up tonight. It's meeting madness for me today. My office was closed yesterday, but I have lots of catching up to do.

But, I did Hiit Pyramid yesterday. I had to take a couple longer breaks and quit early on two or three drills, but I got it done. I also did about 10 mins of pilates-based abs from Ab Circuits. Those ab work outs are so long! But, I will work up to them.

I also want to echo what Klaudia said yesterday--you all are the best!
