Classes per day?

Hi Cathe -
I just wondered how many classes you teach any given day? I am new to the instructor-world (thanks to you for inspiring me to become one ) and sometimes teach 2-3 classes in one day. And, if you do teach multiple in a day, do you take it easier than you would when you are teaching just one? Thank you!!!!

Congratulations on becoming an instructor. It is a very rewarding line of work. When I was younger I taught multiple classes by day and too many to remember by week

Now I have made it so that I only teach about 4 per week of my own classes and on occasion one or two extra due to covering a call out. This keeps it a fun, fresh, and non-overtrained environment for me. But yes, if I occasionally have to cover a lot (like now with many summer vacations underway) I will due much more talking than delivering. For instance, I will start the group with the activity or exercise and then walk around and coach while they continue.

WOW!! Thank you for responding to my question!!!! That is a great idea to call out sometimes - I teach a BC class and I would be easily able to do that -
