Clarissa, you look great!

Whoops everyone! I see I made a mistake on my program that I wrote out...I don't do UPPER body that many days in a row!!! I do lower and upper on alternating days; thus, I do LOWER on Wed and Fri, not upper all 3 days consecutive! Just wanted to clarify that I do let my muscles rest!!

Ok, Clarissa, I have a couple of more questions for you -- hopefully you're still reading this thread! First, is it not hard to do full body after you've worked your legs the day before? Secondly, which cathe dvd premix blast do you think is the most "HIIT-like"? Your workout week sounds like fun -- I think I'll try it sometime.

thanks,

Hi Beth! No - I don't find it hard at all - even if my legs and butt were really worked the day before. I find if I work through the pain (Reasonably so of course), I will be less sore the following days. For me, it helps work thru the lactic acid build-up. If I am "too sore" then I will simply incorporate more of a circuit rather than just total body lifting. For instance, if I did B&G on Friday, then Saturday I would do Drill Max and still be fine. I certainly would not do B&G two days in a row.
And again - this eccentric training is just amazing! It has really really been effective. LOVE IT! I hope you do try it!! :)

For HIIT- I will admit, I do my own on the treadmill or by doing my own cardio circuits in my home gym on other machines, but Cathe's that I do own would be BM2 blast premix (i don't remember what it is called but OH MAN) and if you were to do cardio portions of boot camp with recovery in between. Drill Max doesn't really count - only in certain portions of the video like lying taps, squat thrusts, etc. I am not big on premixes though - just the ones from BM2 since it is such a long video in its entirety. Have you ever tried double upper body premix???
Please feel free to email me anytime personally.
