What do you guyes think: Can I do Circuit blast during my recovery week and just keep the weights a little lighter,or is there supposed to be no weights during this week? Not really sure
I am not really sure, but I am on recovery week with p90x. I am thinking about doing some circuits because I love them. I have really missed them. Plus if you keep the weight light, I don't see why it would be so bad. But then again I don't know the exact science of muscle building. Maybe someone will post with a little more insight.
Cathe says don't lift weights that week. I know I tried to do a slim series with just 3 pounders and rapidly gave it up-just didn't feel like doing any weights!!
Circuit blast is mostly cardio so I think you could try it and see.

I think during both my 1st and 2nd times through STS I recall at least once or twice sneaking a circuit workout in during my rest weeks but as you stated I went very light on my weights. I don't think it will hurt IF you follow YOUR lead--if you feel okay with it, go for it! My next round of STS I'm going to make it a point, however, to try it Cathe's way and during the rest phases after Meso 1 and Meso 2 I'm going to just walk and do my abs during my rest weeks. I should be starting up STS again May 2nd and can't wait!
