Circuit Max low impact?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Circuit Max is super high impact or not. I need to stick to low impact as much as possible. I'd also like to know if it is high impact, if it would still be a decent workout if I made the moves low impact on my own.

CIRCUIT MAX IS VERY INTENSE.IN THIS WORKOUT YOU WILL FIND TO FLOOR INTERVAL, TWO KICKBOX AND TWO INTERVAL WITH THE STEP. I ONLY HAVE DONE THIS ONE TIME BUT I SWEATED BULLETS.

Hi. Unfortunately, I don't think Circuit Max is very modifiable to low impact. It really is super high impact, and to modify down is hard to do. Leaps to the side, for example, I find next to impossible to do without impact, and finding a subsitute move with intensity is difficult. Lots of jacks, too. The intensity really relies on the impact, in my opinion. Now, in the step sections it may be more modifiable, but if I remember correctly the DVD isn't chaptered well, so you wouldn't be able to just pick the sections that you could modify, anyway... The kickbox and hi-lo are certainly high impact.

Sorry, that's probably not what you wanted to hear! If you don't have Cardio and Weights, that could be an option for you. Definitely more modifiable.

:)

Maybe some others will chime in here...as far as a circuit workout, as I recall, Cardio and Weights is a little less intense.

Yes, CircuitMax is pretty far up the scale of impact and intensity. I love it, but low impact it is not. For low impact, I suggest KPC. Cardio and Weights is so much easier than CircuitMax that they aren't even in the same league. It's lower impact, but still has a fair amount of jumping.

Do you have a rebounder? I modify all of Cathe's high impact moves to it - Jumping jacks - high jogs - those one leg leaps I just jog in place etc. etc.

I have to tell you, the rebounder has allowed me to modify many of Cathe's workouts to low impact - it's a good investment if you can't do high impact - I'm talking from experience.

>Thanks for the help, I'll check out Cardio & Weights and KPC.
>By the way, what's a rebounder?

A rebounder is a mini-trampoline. I'm glad it works for some people, but I find that they actually hurt my knees. (I know, I probably had the wrong brand...)
