Christmas Rotation Checkin 12/6

Hi, everyone! I ended up getting a workout in after all. Well, sort of! A "functional fitness workout" maybe? I took my son to the skating rink and spent at least an hour skating. The last time I skated the world was a younger place, but it was fun! I was horrible at first, gained a little confidence, remained horrible, kept doing that swooping arm thing for balance and letting out little screams when someone came too close and I thought I was going down! Plus You know what, I got a good workout mopping today too. I mop like I am in a mad rush even though I am not and I really engaged my core while I was doing it! Really!

I am VERY sleepy! We didn't get home until 5 in the morning! I haven't partied like that in a long time.I think I am going to go back to bed now.
I am not sure if I am working out today.We will see how much energy I get.I have to decorate my house today and I am going to take my little girl to see The Cat in the Hat.
I haven't skated in years! I bet its great exercise.I don't own a mop either.The floor in my kitchen is really shiny and I have to get down on my hands and kness to clean it! Which needs to be done today:-(

OH MY GOD, BEC-KY! You were getting home when I was getting up (shudder). How old are you, Lori? At forty, almost forty-one, I marvel that I could ever party down and look good and feel pretty good the next day! If I don't sleep these days you can (a. pack the bags under my eyes, (b. see me rotate my head 360 degrees a la Linda Blair in the Exorcist and (c. know that I will be overreactive and evil-tempered or depressed and so sad, sappy and silly everyone insists I take a nap!

I've been napping alot lately!;)

Forget all night, I need to be tucked in by 10:00 or things start getting scary:)

Hi everyone,
Well I did a TM run/walk for 40 minutes on Saturday. Sunday is a rest day. Eating is still not under control. I think I will plan to start WW after the first of the year.

I am 25 yrs old.I have been married for 2 yrs and I have a 7 yr old daugther.She came into the room at 8 to show me toy turtles that she bought last night...I could barely get one eye open to see what she had.HAHAHA I got up at 10 and I felt pretty good(I drank 6 shooters and 5 drinksx( )I went to tim hortons to get coffee,tea, and a muffin.When I got home I felt like I needed more sleep so I slept on the couch while she watched t.v,ate her breakfast and played with her turtles.Then we got up at 12 and went out for dinner.
I am not use to this anymore.I rarely ever go out.It was just a house party,we didn't go to any clubs.But this is what christmas time is like here.Everyone has christmas parties.I found it weird at first b/c I grew up in a family that didn't drink,or party.Then I moved here and thats all they did...anyway,I am not that much of a party but its o.k every once ina while;-)

Nice, Rhonda! Are you doing double duty today? I so admire how you split your workouts but haven't found motivation in the afternoon. Except to nap:)

Hang in there on the eating! It will come!

Just as I suspected, Lori, you are youngun! Heck yeah, it's ok. You're young! You'll recover quickly and live to tell the tale! Drink plenty of fluids; it'll help. I hear you about your daughter, bless her! I have a 6 year-old-son and 14 and 13 year-old daughters. I am taking Sydney, the middle creature, shopping. She wants to buy a pair of too baggy pants so she can belt them? Have a beautiful day and take it easy!

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,I feel much better today!:) Hungry but better!
I didn't nap all day yesterday,which is strange when you have been parting.I finished decorating my tree last night.I have a pile of other things to do today.I have to clean my house, do the rest of the decorating,go to the mall to get more lights and bows,workout,and go to work at 7:30 tonight.
Its stormy here again today.I think we were suppose to get 50cms of snowx( I can't get out to get my morning coffee and the homemeade stuff just don't do the trick.I am going to plan my workout around lunch time,by that time I should have most of my house cleaning done,I hope!
Once again..I am going to do legs today.I HAVE to do legs today.I may do S,J&P.

Hi Everyone,

Sunday was a rest day for me. We went to see the Brian Setzer Orchestra show last night. Needless to say I was way too tired to get up this morning and tackle Body Max. So this evening I plan on going home and doing at least the step portion of Body Max. Hoping I can do that so it doesn't mess up the rest of the week.

Tuesday, I will finish body max. So this week will be one day behind the rotation schedule but it has two rest days so I can catch up.

Bobbi- Saturday I just did the treadmill workout. No double duty for me. The double duty is usually only Monday-Friday, easier for me to do. Weekends if I get an extra workout in that is great.

I measured and weighed on Saturday and no changes : ( I thought I would see something.

I should get going, hope everyone has a nice day.

Good morning everybody:

This past weekend was a busy one, but they all seem to be especially now. I bartended Friday night and all day Saturday, whew.....I'm tired, but I was able to get IMAX2 in yesterday. I haven't done that in a while and it sure was fun. I made it all the way through except for a couple of modifications. :)

Rhonda: Hang in there with your eating and I KNOW how frustrating it can be not to see a change in the scale, but you can do it. :)

I did PUB this morning. I opted to do chest, back and biceps since my chataranga's (planks) from my yoga yesterday annihilated my triceps and shoulders. I cried over having to skip them. NOT! I'll cry tomorrow when I ADD them to my cardio instead. I skipped the abs too since I did the awesome basic ab work that goes with Meaner Legs. I am happy that I am finally consistant with my exercise again!

I wish I felt as motivated to clean my house! I actually (at long last) caught up on laundry Sat. But miss Sydney cleaned her room as I have been requesting for so long and she has apparently been stockpiling dirty laundry in there. Be careful what you wish for! A clean 13 year old's room might mean 4 loads of laundry on a cloudy Monday morning! Finally can anyone solve the mystery of why 5 people need 15 towels in 24 hours?

Not a single workout for me this weekend!!! ARRGGGHHHH!!! I did end up getting very sick from my flu shot Friday night and most of Saturday. My arm was also killing me until this morning. It's slightly sore now, but nothing unbearable. I slept A LOT. Wow, talk about catching up. I did get edgy, though, from lack of exercise. I was ok yesterday, but I spent my day at work and helping a friend out with one of her classes. Oh well, I will start again today :D

My DVDs should arrive tomorrow :D Yippeee!!

My eating has been alright... not super healthy, but I definitely didn't overeat. Today, I woke up a little queasy, so I didn't think about breakfast... until I got to work, of course. x(

I'm still optimistic about getting back on track soon. That doesn't leave me much time before Christmas, but.......

Guess what I didn't do today? LEGS!!!!!!
I went up town in the afternoon and got some more lights for the tree downstairs and for my house.When I got home, I had to finish it.It was much more relaxing then yesterday when I couldn't get the tree put together right.I almost through the tree out the door.There are no numbers or letters on any of the branches so you have to guess what goes where.
I started to workout at 5 and I realized I really only had an hour to do it.I have to be at work 7:30.So I did S,J,&P.A little bit of leg work though.
We are still having a snow storm.I thought the power was gonna go when i was in the shower.When I got out the lights were out on the houses across the street.
I know now why I lose weight christmas time.I don't stop and I eat less.I use to be like this all the time but I have gotten lazier.There are a million things to be done.I have to work both jobs all week.I am going to try and wrap some presents.I am going to go shopping this weekend.,,plus a christmas party on saturday not..that will be alcohol free:p Or maybe not......:7 I just think that we are in constintly moving this time of year.
Anyway,I must go to work;( I bet you any money I have to go out and meet that plane tonight! Just my luck when there is a snow storm!

I'm confused is this the same checkin as the Fit for Xmas? or are there 2 seperate checkins for this month? I want to make sure I'm posting on the one I started to in the beginning.
 
This is different, ShyWolf. This is like a long converstaion! I love it! You are,, of course welcome to join us. We are a rather off the cuff lot but it works for us!

Lori, I am glad you didn't pitch the tree! Remember what Clarice says to Rudolph in Rudolph the Red-nosed Reundeer, "There's alway tomorrow...." My legs are sore enough for the three of us from Meaner Legs! Ouch!

UGH! What a night at work.Its still stormy here.I went to work and it looked as if the plane was comming, and it tried.It made it all the way here,it couldn't land and she had to go all the way back to Ontario again.
So....we had to call all of the people on tomorrows flight and tell them it was cancelled.Plus,we had to deal with the people who were waiting for family members to arrive.Make the best of it...my mom and sister were on that flight.They were on buddypasses so they can easily get bumped off now.
I feel horrible even though I know it wasn't my problem.If you go on a buddypass then thats the risk you take.
It took away my appetite and I can't sleep.I guess with all the commosion it takes awhile for your body to relax.
Anyway,I must go check out some other postings till i get sleepyx(

Still can't get out of my drive way for coffee.I had to make my own today.I am pretty sure that it won't have the same effect.:eek: I am addicted to tim hortons coffee.
I am not going to say that I will work legs today...cause you never know.I only have to work from 1-5 today so I plan on doing a cardio and chest in the a.m and some more weights in the p.m but I won't say what I might work:)
My mom and sister are still stuck in a airport in Ontario.They had to stay there alnight b/c they had to much luggage and they want to make sure that they will be the first standbys checked in.I haven't been talking to them yet.They must be so tired.They are going to fly into another airport and stay in the city with my brother, then catch a fligt tomorrow from there to here.Its a bad experience when this is your first time travelling stand by.Although it wasn't really b/c they were standbys,it was mostly the weather.I feel so bad for them.
Anyway,I should go put some laundry away,clean up a little and get ready to workout.I think I am going to do Step Blast today.I weighed myself again today.I am now 129.5.I am very happy with that to.I think the reason I was 128.5 the other day was b/c I had went for a run and I was probably a little deyhrated.

I confess I am very confused today. http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/yellows/freak6.gif I woke at 3:30 amd tried to go back to sleep but crawled out at 4:30 when I couldn't. Today was a scheduled cardio day. I was going to add triceps and shoulders to the mix since I skipped 'em yesterday because they were sore from yoga. I skipped them today for the same reason and just did Step Heat instead. Those older workouts are a hoot. No plyos or intensity blasts, just stepping! It was just what I needed!

Tomorrow I am doing PLB and if I have to add PUB triceps and shoulders, it won't be pretty!

Bobbi, I'm so glad that you've gotten yourself into a regular routine again. I'm jealous }( but glad.

I didn't work out again tonight. I just can not work out at night anymore. I used to be a total night owl... I would go to school all day, run at 3:00 and then do weights at 9 or 10 p.m. And I had absolutely no problem with that. I think part of it is being away from home all day now. When I get there, I want to spend time with my animals :) And my parents. I don't like walking in, ignoring everybody, working out, doing homework, and then going to bed. It's not fair and not very fulfilling. At least I can work out with my cats. They enjoy that :)

Well, once again, almost free :D I am going to be so homesick when I leave :( At 22, I should be anxious to get out of my house. I'm so lucky I have such a wonderful family, but, What's wrong with me??!

Tonight, I have to start and finish up a chapter of math, so I doubt I'll be working out. But, you never know! If I do, it'll be Bootcamp. It's difficult to weasel out of that one. It all depends on how much caffeine I manage to get my hands on :)

Lori, I'm glad you've recovered from your party :D. I am so not good at partying, and never was. I've tried, but I'm just a traitor to my generation. My DB and I are the ones sitting at home, watching the History channel, while my parents are out until 4 in the morning. Literally. It's hilarious.

AND, nobody around this town has Christmas parties! I think they would be great for getting you in the holiday spirit, but I've never been to one. And I don't have enough friends to throw one :)
