RE: Christi's tapes
I have just tackled High Lo Heaven and it is so much fun. The funny part of that is that I bought it brand new, previewed it (barely) and then tried to do it. I was overwhelmed and immediately traded it away. So, a year later, I get it again on a trade, determined to conquer it and you know what, I did. It does take some patience and some rewinding but I really believe that our ability to catch on to choreography is progressive. The exact same thing happened to me with Powermax except instead of trading it, I put it away for a year. When I did try it again, I wondered to myself why I thought it was so hard.
Now, I am going to either buy or trade for Step Heaven and tackle it too. I have never done a Christi step tape (just her hi lo) but I figure if I can get Rythmic Step and Step this Way, I am going to get Step Heaven too.
One point that I would make is don't try to learn a new tape when you really want to get a good workout. Try some segments of a new tape after your workout for the day or on a rest day. That way, if you have to rewind or stop, you won't feel cheated out of your workout for that day.
My first Christi tape that I conquered was Happy Hour. And as for 9801, we won't go there agan........YET. Christi Taylor really is loads of fun, however, you may want to try a less complex tape to get her style down before you move on to Step Heaven. Or, just go for it.
