Chinups Anyone???

Actually stopping in to report on some chinup activity!! I did 19 total. No sets of 5 though x( Oh well onward I go,... I did S&H legs only with abs and chins. YES ABS!!!! WOW that's twice this week already. Briee, write that down for me would ya?? LOL!!!

I am so glad tomorrow is rest. I tried to convince myself to take one today. But I knew I won't have time to workout tomorrow and then there I go 2 days off. So I made myself do it and I am glad. Just like Briee said about the post workout feeling. It's soooooooooooo good!!!

Oh come on Joanne, you don't want to arm wrestle LOL!! I am both excited and nervous about the road trip. I'm sure it'll be awesome!!

I would still one day love to go to one of Tony Horton's fitness camps too. I've read that they are really good. I can only imagine me drooling all over the place and not being able to speak. Uhhhhhhhh daaaaaaaa!!!! :p :p

Joanne...I just did a search for the Chippewa Falls Bike and am not sure which bike you are talking about. Do you have a name for it? (also time and distance?) Would be a blast to do it with ya. I would probably drive home afterward as I am about 2 hours from Chippewa Falls I think. Only complication, I am considering doing triathlon in Houston MN (rock river challenge) and I believe it's the 21st of May - don't think I could handle both!!! I'm really not ready for a tri either - we'll see. If you are at all interested in a tri - it's a "sprint" tri meaning canoe 7?, bike 7?, run3?. (distances are approximate - can't remember off hand).

Just for the record...I think Catherine and Joanne should arm wrestle - just to say you did:p :p :p YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Briee-It is actually in Eau Claire-sorry. It is called the Sierra Century Bike Tour. The ride is 12, 30, 60, 80 or 100 miles. The web site is wisconsin.sierraclub.org/chippewa.

Hello ladies!! Did upper body again today. Upped the wt on a few exercises. Bench was 55# 4sets of 6 reps, lat row 35# 3 sets of 8, millitary press 45# 3 sets of 8, rear delt flies 12# 3 sets of 8, triceps 14.5# 4 sets of 6 and conc curls 21.25 4 sets of 6. Will increase my bench to 60# next time except will have to have DH spot- can't hoist 60# up to bench--yet ;) This seems to be working to increase my strength. Don't know if it'll help with definition or not yet. Still need to to KB this evening and maybe abs. Tomorrow is B&Gs- may do the overall legs premix.

How are you ladies doing? Any big plans for Mother's Day? We are taking my mom to Churchill Downs for a brunch. It's always fun.

I did B&G leg blast premix this morning-ouch. That one is tough. It is amazing how little to no wts can make one hurt so bad LOL!! I've been working legs twice a week for at least a couple of weeks now and will be interested to see if it pays off. I must look my very best in August when I meet Cathe and all the Catheites!!!

I did IMAX2 this morning. This evening I did 4 sets of 2 pullups. Lately I'd been just doing a few single pullups here and there. Tonight I tried for 2 and did it. I must admit chin was not always above the bar on the second rep but was at least even. So does that still count??? I bet if you ask my DH he'll say no LOL!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day with your families. I went to Churchill Downs brunch with my mom and sis. We had a good time. Didn't win any money though :(
